    Even though some parts were glitchy, the game was still fun on PC. Though you should expect some frustrating level design at times.

    This game is fun. The parkour is fun. The artstyle is beautiful. The story did not engage me at all so i skipped the cutscenes. It's a fun game that holds up well but it's really not that special in todays video game landscape

    Поиграл 1,5 часа. Игра яркая, красочная, графика красивая. Игра совсем не нагружает мою видюху (на максималках в 144фпс всего 20% нагрузки). Геймплей быстрый, паркур неплохой. Очень раздражает управление (персонаж не всегда реагирует на клавиши, а иногда делает подкаты, хотя я просто жму w). Сеттинг мне не особо нравится. Сюжета как такового нет (что логично).     Sometimes the character did't do what i wanted like what i pressed for her to do if that make sense and also the game is too white sometimes you cant see where you are going leaving those things aside it was a good game

    Played in 2021. Amazing game back in 2009, but didn't age well in terms of performance, graphics. No reason to play this version when there is Catalyst.

    I was really disappointed by the way the gameplay felt. In theory it is a great idea to make a cool First Person View parkour game but in reality the fact you miss all the airines and thus beauty of your movements kill the whole point of parkour - instead all what you see is a trebling image before your eyes and the most "exciting" thing for you is to make a somersault on your landing.I was really disappointed by the way the gameplay felt. Also it is obvious "Mirrors Edge" was trying to be some sort of a puzzle but in my opinion it didn't succeed in this direction either: you could just turn off your brain and just run and jump in all possible directions and sooner or later you would "solve" the puzzle - not exactly what I would imagine a puzzle-like game to be played like. Everything else is pretty much quite good - especially I appreciate the visual style and the overall graphics quality - even after 12 years the game looks unbelievably good.… Expand

    This game is overrated. It had a lot of potential but ended being just an interesting game with a bad disgn and a patethic plot. I don't regret buy it for 2$, but I don't think is worth any more than that with the kind of game you can spend your time on 2021.

    never in my life have I been so bored in a story that I've skipped the cutscenes. Luckily, the game makes up for it in the game-play. Admittedly, the game-play has aged quite poorly, but it's still fun to run around and parkour around too. I would recommend playing this game on hard mode for a more realistic experience. But, if you just want a fine experience play it on normal.

    La historia/campaña deja mucho que desear ya que se sabe el final prácticamente desde el principio y no tiene ninguna emoción ni nada que te llame la atención.

    Average game with a boring story. FPS free runner, parkour simulator. When you are in the middle of the action, that is very enyojable. I liked the city landscape. Nothing more, this is a correct game.

    Let me preface this by saying that i LOVE Mirror's Edge: Catalyst, it's in my top five games of all time, and i have many collectibles for it. However, going back to play Mirror's Edge, i was severely underwhelmed, here are some reasons why:

    -The combat. It is so clunky and frustrating and i don't understand why there are guns, i much prefer ME:C's style. -The Story. The story in    Let me preface this by saying that i LOVE Mirror's Edge: Catalyst, it's in my top five games of all time, and i have many collectibles for it. However, going back to play Mirror's Edge, i was severely underwhelmed, here are some reasons why:

    -The combat. It is so clunky and frustrating and i don't understand why there are guns, i much prefer ME:C's style.

    -The Story. The story in Mirror's Edge is so boring and not interesting that it's best to just forget about it. People complained that ME:C's story was weak, and i agree to an extent, but this game takes weak story to a whole new level. There is no real explanation for anything that's happening or why you are doing things, other than the basic "Oh no your sister was framed, go break her out of jail."... TWICE.

    -The Movement: This games movement system is the main attraction for me here, and for the most part i think its alright. It is in no way as smooth as ME:C but I'll give it some slack because it was a new idea and it was 10 years ago. My main problem stems from towards the end of the game, there are enemies you have to run away from, but if they get close enough the camera will lock on to them, making it impossible to jump off ledges where you need to. This only happened to me once or twice, but it really ruined my experience.

    -The game is to short. It is just simply to short. Just as the story seems to be ramping up, game over.

    -The art-style: The art of the world around you in this game is bland. It is unique and i can understand that some people enjoy its simplicity, but i personally prefer the more colorful and themed world of ME:C.

    In fact, the only completely positive thing i have to say about this game is the soundtrack, its great. It's impactful, memorable and definitely fits the game.

    Overall the game is decent and was very good back in 2009, but it doesn't hold up and given the choice now, just get ME:C, it is vastly better despite mediocre reviews, will give you many more hours of fun, and its story is good enough for me.    … Expand

    The game is meh, but thats only my biased opinion. The action is great except on a few tricky and hard to find locations, the combat is ok at best but the story is really bland ( just my opinion ). So if you want a good parkour simulator this is definitely a game for you but dont expect any WOOOW story moments because there are none here.

    The beautiful visuals look even better on the PC and the controls are smart and responsive. There are some flaws, though, in particular the short play time, some stiff level design and the overall potential for frustration. But if you manage to go with the flow, you will find Mirror's Edge to be a thrilling and unique gaming experience.
