Aug 27, 2018Great idea for game, cool parkour system etc. but fight is terrible, sometimes it's like : I try to figure out what should i do but some immortal dudes kill me. Sometimes figuring what should i do is really hard and boring. Best thing in the game is when you can just run but that's doesn't happen a lot. And story is just stupid. Frustration + cool idea+ Stupid story = 4/10

Jan 12, 2021its honestly jsut a worse version of dying lgiht (without the zombies of course) its very buggy the parkour is funish but overall didnt enjoy it

Aug 19, 2013It's a bit overrated with the jumping. I've counted more elevators, air-vents and getting shot than actual jumping and free running. The parkour elements are very well done, whole 30 seconds of them, because you spend next 2 minutes in 2 by 2 meters rooms and corridors following pre-defined path.

May 15, 2018Fantastic visuals and a solid parkour system isn't enough to salvage this garbage. The story, characters, combat are all horrendous. Along with that the level design feels bland and boring to play through.

Mar 4, 2012It's a little difficult to get the hang of the controls, but as you're learning people are shooting at you and chasing you. No time to think or look around. Just run someplace that looks good - jump and plummet to your death or get shot. Next time run a different direction. After several deaths you may figure out where you need to go and how to get there. No fun.

Jul 16, 2014I don't get the appeal of this game. I can see that it's relatively well made, but it's just not fun. For a running game, the running speed is very slow and almost feels like walking. It's not fast-paced at all. The controls are mediocre at best and the save points are horribly placed. Way too often, you have to try and die to find the right way and it becomes boring incredibly fast.

PaulAJan 21, 2009This was a really exciting game at first until I realised that there is no depth to the gameplay all you do is climb stuff over and over and over and over and over again to get to the next area. The combat system could barely be used..... waste of money imho.

Aug 23, 2012One of the worst games I've ever played, horrible carachter (luckily you'll never see her), terrible game design, sloppy graphics and colors, boring story, appaling and unplayable gameplay. This game costs today 2

May 12, 2013This game is hard even on easy and insanely frustrating particularly chapter 8. You will die a lot. Fortunately the game is short. On the positive side I liked the music.

Mar 3, 2011One of the worst games I have ever played.
The combat is sticky and messy, it doesn't know whether to dump retaliation or go with it. YOU HAVE TO PICK ONE!
You can't see your feet, making it hard to judge jump's.
The character's aren't at all likeable
And the plot is full of holes.
Stay away from this one. -

JamesMJan 15, 2009This game was a 9, at least, when I first started playing it, but once the swat team showed up on the 2nd level, the game became so choppy that it was unplayable. That is unacceptable considering I have a 1 GB Geforce 9600 and 4 Gigs of Ram.

TamirFDec 11, 2009LIke others said, nothing but running around, jump, and killing some guards. a short game, no multiplayer, and its not worth the 20$. I had some fun moments, thats why its a 2 and not a 0

KenVetoJan 28, 2009This would be a great game for a 15 yr old boy high on crack! I'm in my 50's. I could not play the game very successfully. There are no hints and I got stuck on the first assignment out of training and could not complete it. Also, there is no way to save one's progress, so one has to duplicate moves over and over until one gets past a certain point.

Oct 16, 2022Totally outdated, Impossible to play on PC, full of bugs, it crashed my PC. I'm sorry but this didn't looked bad and it was decent probably more like a 5-6 but due to the tecnical problems I give it a 0
All the good reviews are from 2009, I suppose that for the time it was good, it has aged like milk. -
Feb 10, 2023Good concept, good graphics but the combat system and the controls are just awful and frustrating. Not recommended.
-
Feb 22, 2022Lots of frustrating moments in this game. The parkour in Dying Light is better despite this being a game that’s solely focused on it.
-
Nov 15, 2022I've played a lot of bad games but this one has a lot of experience in this field, easily cracks the top 10 of my worst games list, game doesn't even run well.
-
Jan 17, 2021I will say don't buy this game if you don't have an RTX 3080 or higher. A 2009 game with such **** optimization problems...
-
Jan 31, 2023Terrible parkour and wacky platform puzzles. Great for killing nerve cells.
-
May 15, 2023The main character slows down at the start of the game and I can't make a jump because of it. At least the game's free.

Mastering the game's in-body platforming is an urgent thrill, beaten down less violently here under the auspices of our old friends keyboard and mouse, and stands out from the homogenised interfaces of modern first-person and platform games.
-
The beautiful visuals look even better on the PC and the controls are smart and responsive. There are some flaws, though, in particular the short play time, some stiff level design and the overall potential for frustration. But if you manage to go with the flow, you will find Mirror's Edge to be a thrilling and unique gaming experience.
-
While its elegant controls, visuals and audio weave a dreamlike tapestry that its animated cut-scenes do their best to eat away at, the whole is an experience you'd be remiss to let fly by if you missed it on consoles.
