    Microsoft Flight Simulator really focuses on the third word in its title as the realism limits have been pushed by an outstanding amount, making it possible to fly over the whole planet Earth as we know it. It is an exquisite dish for the hardcore simulator players, but if you're looking to become one, it seems that the tutorial doesn't really explain most of the tricks of the trade, soMicrosoft Flight Simulator really focuses on the third word in its title as the realism limits have been pushed by an outstanding amount, making it possible to fly over the whole planet Earth as we know it. It is an exquisite dish for the hardcore simulator players, but if you're looking to become one, it seems that the tutorial doesn't really explain most of the tricks of the trade, so you're gonna have to do some research on your own. Still, If you just want to become a casual pilot for a few days, the basics are easy to get the hang of, and after a few lessons you will be ready to spread your wings and feel the wind in your hair.
    Don't get your hopes to high - you probably won't be able to recognise your home building from up close, and this game does not intend to make it so. This is a flight simulator, and it should be treated like one, because the scope of it is enormous and the result, just by seeing all the places from the plane's view, is astounding. I've flown over places I've never seen, like Beijing, Tokyo and Chicago and it really made me understand how big and impressive these places are. Then, I've flown to cities I've been to, like Amsterdam, Warsaw or my hometown, and if nobody had told me what these places were, I still would've been able to recognise them - the landmarks were easily recognisable and some of the parts of the city were even accurately represented by the algorithm architecture-wise. As for my hometown, a few buildings disappeared or were just a colorful stain in the grass, but it didn't make much difference, as most of them were pretty accurate shape-wise when looked at from above. The game also introduced me to many beautiful places I never knew existed like Lukla, Paro, and, above all else, Courchevel, which I definitely recommend seeing for yourself if you get an opportunity to play this game. The adjustable weather graphics makes visiting them a real pleasure to the eye. Be it sunset, sunrise, rain, snow - it all looks breathtaking.
    The game beautifully captures the thrill of flying and seeing picturesque landscapes from above, the sheer joy of being in the air. I'm not sure if it will qualify for the Game of the Year, as it really is more of an experience and a representation of what people can do with today's technology, but it undoubtedly deserves at least a honorary mention in that category, as it is the first game that has managed to recreate the whole planet Earth, at least to some extent. How many hours can be spent here depends on what kind of a player you are, but here and now, for 1$ on the Xbox Game Pass, it is extremely worth it and almost feels like a robbery on the developers.    … Expand

    This game is absolutely breathtaking! The visuals are as realistic as you can expect to get in a flight sim, and really captures the feeling of flying. It's really something else to be able to fly to any location in the world from and explore. An excellent achievement indeed!

    Really good game/sim and a technical marvel.
    You can fly all over the world and it will look almost the same as real life.
    Thanks to the assists you can go from hardcore simmer to casual pilot and still have fun. If I had to nitpick it would be: Trees are in some places where there shouldnt be any trees The planes arent as in depth as many want but this will be fixed with    Really good game/sim and a technical marvel.

    No hagais caso a la gente toxica de sony, que solo vienen aqui a ponerle un 1 o un 0. Este juego está a otro nivel.
    Se podría decir que esta 2 generaciones adelantado.

    Best Flightsim there is. Some people had problems with steam, I didn't and all worked fine. I have played Flightsimuluartors for nearly 30 years. I have a fast internet connection I could download and play it in less than 2 hours and test it so I could have returned it on steam if I wanted to, but sure not everybody has a fast connection.     It is a great Sim to a great price, compare other sims when you want to get close to what FS2020 offers out of the box (citys, all the airports, even simple things like trees) you could easily spend $1000 and would not come close to the quality you get here. FSX and variants of it where used for real pilots to train I'm sure FS2020 be as useful if not more. I'm really excited and looking forward to how this Sim develops.    … Expand

    Beautiful game. Good performance (for a flight sim. anyone claiming "bad optimization" must not play many flight sims). Especially when compared to FSX, which came out in 2006 but still runs like absolute garbage even on new hardware. removing a point for not having controls set up for the saitek x-55!

    Sencillamente el mejor simulador de vuelo, el mundo entero, gráficos fotorealistas, todo tipo de controles (periféricos, controller Xbox etc). Como no al ser un juego de Microsoft se llena de ceros del odio de la peor comunidad de videojuegos (los fanboys de Sony/PlayStation) algo que no he visto que se haga con Ghost of Tshusima (por ejemplo), les retrata perfectamente como lo tóxicos queSencillamente el mejor simulador de vuelo, el mundo entero, gráficos fotorealistas, todo tipo de controles (periféricos, controller Xbox etc).     What Asobo did is unbelievable. They moved the whole flight sim experience to a new level. The genre has been forgotten for too long and we had no better option than to stick with p3d or xplane but in a year or so there will be only one player and it’s gonna be msf!

    Cada avión tiene sus propias características dando más diversidad a su jugabilidad. El clima también juega un papel importantísimo, el viento, la lluvia, el congelamiento a gran altitud, todo está muy bien hecho y afecta al control del avión.

In online mode, there is connection to weather, weather and station data. In online mode it is connected to certain control towers and actual flight itineraries (Oops this could be a sensitive data issue!) Giving it a certain touch of realism that astonishes and disturbs at the same time. It's on the PC Game Pass Ultimate.

    The bad:
    The game is very demanding on resources from the PC player setups, considered even elitist. The view of the ground once you lower the altitude is poor. It doesn't lend itself to nonsense (although you can). There is no crash animation, just a “crashed” sign and black screen. DLC and updates are coming. Basically the game weighs 150 Gb, which can grow with DLCs and updates and content updates. There is a sensitive data issue when connecting to online mode where actual flight data comes out in the game (very realistic and even disturbing).

    Meh !:
    This game challenges any PC enthusiast setup, so if you don't have at least Intel i5 (8400), Radeon RX 590 / NVidia GTX 970, 4Gb VRAM, free 16Gb RAM and V-Sync Monitor you will have a very bad experience of the game. and it is not the fault of the game but of your setup.     After so many years Microsoft managed to put out the best simulator possible, and at little cost thanks to Game Pass. I decided to purchase the game to support devs, they really deserve it after this masterpiece.

    Un excelente juego, los gráficos son de lo mejor que hemos visto en los últimos años. Soy aficionado a la aviación y este es un juego de ensueño para todos los que somos pilotos de corazón.
    La única pega es que los requisitos son muy altos, peor eso no es algo que me haga bajar la calificación puesto que depende de la gráfica que tengas

    La verdad que con el game pass este juego es totalmente recomendado ya que lo pruebas y si ves que el juego te ah gustado puedes seguir jugando tranquilamente, los gráficos la verdad que para ser una inteligencia artificial están bastante bien, clara mente no es lo mejor del mundo pero bueno nada es perfecto.

    very good gsme that pushed the boundries of todays tech and proves how far cloud tech in gaming has come alon that makes this game a 10/10 the grapgics are phenomenal and equal to actually real life, this game is now graphicly what Crysis once was back in the days a rig melter.

    Excellent game, true to life, what a time to be alive. I hope this sim will settle new standard and create a whole new area for flight sim game. There is still some issue, still this is really promising.

    Me lo descargué hace poco y me quedo sin palabras para describirlo, es Impecable en todos los aspectos técnicos, simplemente una joya en su género, valió la pena esperar por este gran juego.

    PD: los que dicen que el juego es aburrido, ¿qué tenéis en la cabeza?, es una SIMULACIÓN, tiene que ser lo más fidedigno posible con la realidad, acá no hay cabida a tiros, saltos o tonterías, pero    Me lo descargué hace poco y me quedo sin palabras para describirlo, es Impecable en todos los aspectos técnicos, simplemente una joya en su género, valió la pena esperar por este gran juego.

    PD: los que dicen que el juego es aburrido, ¿qué tenéis en la cabeza?, es una SIMULACIÓN, tiene que ser lo más fidedigno posible con la realidad, acá no hay cabida a tiros, saltos o tonterías, pero supongo que esos comentarios y malas notas son provenientes de niños o personas que ni siquiera se detuvieron a leer la descripción del juego o aunque sea el TITULO, increíble...    … Expand

    Nose si alguien va a leer esto, pero en fin voy a intentar ser sincero. Si eres un fanatico de la aviacion, tienes amor por los aviones, por encontrarte solo en medio de las nubes perdido en cualquier parte del mundo y que tampoco te importa que el juego teniendo la magnitud que tiene, le faltan pequeños detalles por pulir que se solucionaran sin problemas ( yo no he tenido ningun tipo deNose si alguien va a leer esto, pero en fin voy a intentar ser sincero. Si eres un fanatico de la aviacion, tienes amor por los aviones, por encontrarte solo en medio de las nubes perdido en cualquier parte del mundo y que tampoco te importa que el juego teniendo la magnitud que tiene, le faltan pequeños detalles por pulir que se solucionaran sin problemas ( yo no he tenido ningun tipo de problema, ni fps, ni de lag, ni de cargas ni de nada pero lo comento igual, y tengo una 2080 con un ryzen 3600, de fps voy a unos 50-60 y con ultra unos 35-40) entonces este juego te enamorara, y no simplemente por los increibles paisajes y realismo que ofrece, sino por lo que te hace sentir, y esto es algo que va con la persona y no con el juego. En este caso, y hablando personalmente, este juego me ha llegado muchisimo, se ve el esfuerzo, las ganas y el cariño que le han puesto, y se nota creedme que se nota. Y parece ultimamente la gente se queda solo con lo malo, pero con lo bueno no se dice nada, y siempre se pide mas y mas y mas mas, hasta que acabas perdiendo completamente la razon, y llega un juego como este y ni tan solo somos capaces de diferenciar entre algo bueno y algo malo.     Asobo Studio has done an outstanding job the quintessential flight simulator is back. Microsoft Flight Simulator reappears after too long a parenthesis. Since 2006 we have not received a new delivery from oldest brand of the Redmond Company. His appearance in 2020 responds to the motivation of the team: it is the right time to do it.

    For those that haven't tried one before, this game will make or break your interest. It has set the bar visually and audibly.

    I never really got to practice VFR stick & rudder flying properly in a flight sim until now. I let my friend (who, to my knowledge, has no experience flying either in real life or in a sim) watch me play, and he flew me from his house to where he worked about 10 miles north. He said the technology behind it was "really f***ing cool." Another friend in Kaliningrad led me to an abandoned airfield used by Germany in WW2 nearby. I had "sold [him] the game." One friend was able to share stories I had never heard about the place he used to live as I flew around it. I've been playing games like these since the early 2000s, and these reactions sum it up pretty well.

    It's fascinating.

    The weather system is something I have never seen before in any game. If you've ever watched those beautiful in-cockpit glider/sailplane videos of rain showers cascading an ethereal gray curtain over a nearby mountainside (shoutouts to Bruno Vassel), this is, as the ages-old MSFS tagline says, "as real as it gets." Rain, icing, and heavy turbulence used to be a minor inconvenience in any flight sim I played. This game makes it simultaneously scary and beautiful to approach and go through, especially in small aircraft.

    As for the aspects of gameplay aside from sightseeing and visual navigation, it's a very modern sim and feels nothing like a simple coat of paint over the last MSFS installation from over a decade prior.

    Multiplayer: it's frankly really nice to have a few huge multiplayer servers instead of dozens of tiny ones that all have traffic that center around one airport. I wouldn't have ever imagined seeing people online flying around my hometown, but in the past two days I've counted at least 5 players in or around the surrounding airfields. A better network for communication between players would be nice, but I assume that's in the works.

    Aircraft: The aircraft themselves are modeled on-par with what I can best summarize as "budget payware" (Something like Alabeo). I personally prefer the Cessna 152 for cross-country hops, which are, in my humble opinion, the best way to enjoy this game at the moment, but each aircraft I've flown has been reasonably developed for coming right out the box. I've heard of some issues with VNAV/LNAV navigation on airliners, but I have yet to do the long distance IFR flights that make it necessary.

    Planning: Easy as can be. It has a map similar to older installments, yet it's given a fresh look on a display-wide 3D globe. For you IFR folk, SIDs and STARs are now included by default. Adding manual waypoints to create your own flight plan from A to B is simple. You can also start a flight in mid-air wherever you wish. Kind of cliche by now, but yes, that includes the location of your house.

    Performance: Optimization like a proper AAA title. On my PC that straddles the line between mid and high-end, I didn't expect to get anywhere above 20 FPS past medium settings. I run a mix of High and Ultra with multiplayer functions switched on and usually maintain 30 and above. For those that don't know, people tend to struggle getting near the performance on many other flight sims for nearly the same visuals.

    As for the bugs, I've encountered two thus far. If you select "all players" in the multiplayer section of "flight conditions" and come back after a while, you may find that the UI has slowed to a horrendous framerate due to a huge number of players showing up on the map over a very large region. This is fixed by turning the multiplayer switch to "off (group only)". Unfortunately, the other bug I couldn't fix so easily was during a cruise on a short flight from North Carolina to Tennessee in a 152; my mouse could look around, however, I couldn't click on a single knob, button, lever, etc. I had to save my flight where it was, and restart the game. It picked back up right where I left it (as I expected), yet my tail number was reverted to the default in voice transmissions to ATC.

    For what the game offers, though, these relatively minor bugs don't affect my review rating. This is especially so after years of dealing with out-of-memory errors, out-of-nowhere crashes, gigabytes upon gigabytes of wallet-burning mods, and hours and hours of tweaking made necessary to bring the old sims up to once modern standards that have shifted as of yesterday.

    It's a spectacular release, and might as well herald the next generation of flight sims. Given a year or so to sort out the minor issues within, I'll totally stick around to fly for a lot longer than usual.    … Expand

    De lo mejor en simulación a nivel comercial y accesible por todos.
    No se lleva el 10 por algunos problemas de optimización.

    Gráficos, modelos de aviones, físicas muy detalladas.

    De su genero el mejor (aunque no hay mucho donde combatir) muy esperado y disfrutándolo con los ojillos como plato :D

    Been gaming since the 80s and this is one of the most impressive experiences I have ever had. Wonderful graphics, HUGE exploration with checking out the whole world and so far it has been running well.

    Game of the year without a doubt and the first true next gen game, well done Asobo and Microsoft, legendary game.

You're going to need a 1660 TI at least to make it in low settings and a smooth experience. I didn't have any issues installing the 91 GB with 60 MBps internet connection. People giving 0's thinking this is a "football" game and they are taking "revenge" of something. Don't trust any of those ratings. 100% recommended.     Flight Simulator 2020 is one of the most beautiful games ever but it's gameplay will not be to everyone's taste. You should remember at the end of the day, it's meant to iibe a simulator so if you find it frustrating or boring, that's why and maybe it's not for you. That doesn't mean we should give it a 2/10 for being "boring" when you're approaching a game that's meant to SIMULATE (that's the key word right there) flying a real aircraft.
    If you approach this game for what it is (a plane flying simulator with realistic physics) you can find a very enjoyable gameplay loop of sightseeing, taking off, landing, and just generally looking at our beautiful planet below you.
    I really wanted to give it a perfect score but right now with the issues going around, not only do I have to remove a point, I'm also gonna recommend you wait some time before giving this game a go before I can garuntee that you won't have many issues.
    However, I'm gonna give Asobo Studio the benefit of the doubt. It's certainly an ambitious concept that will take a lot of time to perfect, but we do have a good ground to get off of.    … Expand

    Se me hace increíble la inteligencia artificial con el modelado de las edificaciones. Las ciudades importantes tienen una calidad de detalle asombrosa. Obviamente pequeños ciudades no relevantes son creadas por inteligencia artificial, pero de igual manera a buena altura se ven muy bien. Eso si el juego tiene un nicho bien especificó de quienes lo probarán por bastantes horas y las demásSe me hace increíble la inteligencia artificial con el modelado de las edificaciones.     I don't get why people have trouble with the performance. It runs relatively smooth even on a mid-level PC. It's not perfect, but more like a great solid base to build on. Why are so many complaining about the lack of "stuff to do"? It's a simulator, you ar supposed to write your own story ;-).

    Absolutely breathtaking flight sim. There are some technical issues but I'm confident they will get fixed. It's a photorealistic world, especially for bush flying and GA. Have not had this much fun in a sim for ages.

    The weather system is great too. The flight model feels alive but does need some tuning to not be too jumpy.

    This Simulator is a true "next-gen" game, you can spend all day visiting new places and never get tired, I really enjoy going to the places I know and check them and see how close they are to the real life and also the places I don't know... but be prepared, you really need a high end PC to run this game so don't even try it if you don't have a great PC hardware.     El mejor simulador a la fecha, un referente a seguir, felicidades a microsoft por este maravilloso juego, puedo viajar donde quiere y conocer los lugares del mundo donde siempre he querido ir, el foto realismo es increible, Los pipero de la playyysssss se vienen a tirar mierdas con sus ceros, por que tienen pc que solo puede correr el buscaminas y el solitario en minimo, a llorar a otro lado.

    Está bueno pude ver mi casa xd buenos gráficos aunque falta que arreglen las siudades de latinoamerica aunque ya informaron que lo aran más adelanto lo único tiempos de cargas un poco lentos y neseistan un buen PC not tenés derecho a ponerle un 0 porque tú PC tiene una vodoo 3 en fin un buen juego con tiempos de carga un poco largos y un poco exigente

    es el mejor simulador sus físicas son las mas realistas y en aspectos técnicas y gráficas es de lo mejor que hay comparándolo con los simuladores que han salido recientemente, debido a esto el juego es muy exigente con la pc y me gustaría que trabajaran mas en optimizar el juego para que las personas que no cuneta con una pc de gana alta puedan disfrutar de la experiencia completa.

    Un juego excelente. No le doy un 10 porque todo se puede mejorar. La fluidez en el vuelo es increíble y tengo un I5 9400, MSI GTX 1660 y 16 Gb de RAM. a 1080 y Calidad Alta me va perfecto. Por supuesto que necesita un tiempo de carga largo ya que los mapas son enormes y cuanta mas calidad le exijas mas datos tiene que cargar, pero una vez empiezas a jugar se acabaron las pausas.     It’s not just a game, it’s a phenomenon. It lets you explore literally the whole planet – cities, mountains, lakes, rivers, even my house was there – from the cockpits of 20-30 (depends on the version of the game) airplanes. Flying experiences are also great and vary from machine to machine. I’m sure I’ll be returning to MFS for years to come. [11/2020, p.38]

    When all is said and done, Microsoft Flight Simulator in its current state reminds me a lot of Sea of Thieves shortly after launch. The game has a lot of promise and a lot of potential, but it is marred by a number of issues that keep it from really shining. Once the issues have been worked out in six months or a year from now, I fully expect Microsoft Flight Simulator to be a must-have title. Right now, unless you are a hardcore flight sim fanatic, I would pass on buying the premium version and just stick to playing the basic version that's included with GamePass.
