    real game: 10 minutes loading in city, 15 FPS on medium settings, issues with starting a game, worst graphics i've ever seen, can't find difference between flying above los angeles and russia lol. My pc isn't very powerful but that is a real **** There is no optimization at all.

    Don't waste your time on this game. Installing this piece of sh*** is a real nightmare. Thank god I did not buy it and just tried it as part of the game pass.
    For some bizarre reason devs decided to place only an 1 gb installer in the MS store. The installer downloads fine but once you start the game it demands another 150 GB download, which is ok by today's standards. but the problem is    Don't waste your time on this game. Installing this piece of sh*** is a real nightmare. Thank god I did not buy it and just tried it as part of the game pass.

The installer downloads fine but once you start the game it demands another 150 GB download, which is ok by today's standards. but the problem is that it is hosted on some cheapass server that can't produce decent speeds outside of the US, so if you are in Europe or god forbid anywhere else in the rest of the world, you will get 10 Mbit ( yes megabit, not megabyte) download speed. and this crap is specific to MFS servers. the rest of the games from the MS store can be downloaded just fine.

    This game and support is a joke. With my high end pc and 300mb internet downloading the game with 6 mbit max. Tried all the given solutions on internet but no succes. Its a shame ms and asobo don’t do anything about it. Bye bye gamepass.

    100 gb shovelware, the download reseting or something it were on 80% then i left it for an hour and then it become 50% after i come back thank microsoft for wasting half of my monthly bandwith for nothing

    They lost me when after painfully long installation i discovered, that they didn't bother providing even basic profile for my Virpil hotas. Seriously, i wasn't even able to finish first tutorial because the game instructed me to use some button on a device which wasn't configured, and there was no walkaround for this problem.

    Game just crashes and crashes. Installer has huge issues that prevent an enormous amount of people from playing. These two gamebreaking aspects come on top of a huge list of bugs that never seem to be fixed even though Asobo Studio keeps marking things as fixed. I would have given this game some hope if only Asobo Studio had acknowledged all the issues, but instead they have dismissed themGame just crashes and crashes.     The game doesn't even work. For 70usd, you literally get nothing in return. It's fun when it's working. But the software is just too unstable. If you like donating money to a game developer or you like to buy vaporware, this is a game for you. Otherwise, don't buy it.

To enjoy the game at its fullest you will have to pay extra which I was not happy about. Graphics are nice other than that this is a stale simulator that I would not be touching again.     I play on a Ryzen 5900X with an RTX3090 with 64 GB of RAM and a laser fast SSD NVME 5GB/S with a 10gbit/s Fiber connection and well, I can say the game is just incredible, it is both very accessible with the assists and both challenging technically close to a pro simulator.    if you're a die hard flight simulator, I guess you already own that game and saved up some money to boost your PC.

The Radio Traffic is bringing some much immersion and graphically in Ultra this game is a master piece. Some cockpit shines with ludicrous amount of details.
    Best Flight Sim ever and the map size is just the world so can't really complain. Well done Asobo.
    And they keep pourring in new content.
    Only issue is the installation setup is awkward and slow installing windows and office is faster than installing FS.    … Expand

    This game is a buggy mess. Each update adds more and more issues and the game has been unplayable with sub-10fps for a majority of users (myself included) due to a bug that was included in the latest World/Sim update. Complaints about this bug are censored on their official forums, and the developers have hardly acknowledged it, mostly blaming the users configuration.

    As someone that grew up playing & loving FSX, I've become increasingly angry & annoyed with MSFS since it's launch unfortunately. We all bought this game/sim, knowing it would be an improving product, knowing the core sim was (supposedly) in place with more content/features/improvements to be added in future. But 7 months after launching, barely any meaningful progress has occurred, fewAs someone that grew up playing & loving FSX, I've become increasingly angry & annoyed with MSFS since it's launch unfortunately. We all bought this game/sim, knowing it would be an improving product, knowing the core sim was (supposedly) in place with more content/features/improvements to be added in future. But 7 months after launching, barely any meaningful progress has occurred, few fixes have been implemented, future outlined progress is incredibly slow, constantly being pushed back & with each update the sim get's broken & downgraded in some way further delaying updates whilst they try to fix it.     This game can't even get its download to work properly. When you forgot to remove community folder contents, the download would stuck in a loop forever.

I hate this game. I spend my whole week looking forward to drinkining a pint and flying around on fs 2020. But its so buggy and has so many updates and screwes up so much im almost never able too.     I purchased this for $119 and am extremely disappointed. The aircraft are not maneuverable at all. Do not waste your money on FS2020. What a piece of garbage.

    On the surface, this is an incredible achievement and a glorious experience. Graphically, an immense step up from previous simulators, using Bing Maps and Azure technology to stream in near-photo realistic surrounds in the game, with live weather, live aircraft, etc. Although the game takes quite a beefy rig to play, when you do find yourself in the thick of things you will be consistentlyOn the surface, this is an incredible achievement and a glorious experience. Graphically, an immense step up from previous simulators, using Bing Maps and Azure technology to stream in near-photo realistic surrounds in the game, with live weather, live aircraft, etc. Although the game takes quite a beefy rig to play, when you do find yourself in the thick of things you will be consistently taken aback by how beautiful the game can be. Your first flight and first few experiences will be breathtaking, whimsical, and exhilarating.

    Then, the honeymoon phase will wear off. The more you learn about the aircrafts provided in game, the more you learn the avionics systems and how to actually pilot these planes, the more frustrated you will become. Glitches are rampant. It can be from something annoying, like having to press a button 20 times in a row to get it to turn on, to something game breaking, like engine failures, autopilot crashing you to the ground, or autopilot not letting you follow your course. I haven't even scratched the surface, but the two main planes I personally enjoy flying are just disastrous. They hardly work in their current state and I think it would be fair that most people would deserve a full refund.

    That coupled with the fact that Asobo is knowingly and admittedly rushing out patches and continuing to break more and more things in the game with each patch, your frustration will just increase that much more. The phrase, "one step forward, two steps back" certainly applies here. When I find a workaround for a bug in game, I'm only met with another. I'm not a game developer, and while like most people I realize that modern-day publishers force developers to rush development, it's just not acceptable in the realm of reality to push broken patches and break the game in such a manner, especially when said company doesn't really do hotfixes.

    So while this is a technically impressive game, beautiful, serene at times when it works, I cannot give this a good score. I can't even give it a 5, a mediocre. I want to say it's fantastic, but it just doesn't **** work. That's a damn shame. I know they will eventually fix it, but given the way things are going, it's going to be a long time. I'd prefer to actually fly my planes properly on the product I purchased sooner than later. It would be unrealistic for a game of this complexity and scope to be perfect right out of the gate, but I shouldn't have to wait what's seeming to be at least six months or so to actually have things in a flyable order. I'd like to fly planes in a flight simulator. It's not okay, it will never be okay, and we need to stop telling ourselves that these kinds of things are all right.

    Not everybody shares this "zero-criticism" mindset of course, but I see it run quite rampant on the official user forums, which the company frequently directs you to for help. I'd liken it to if you bought, say, a refrigerator, and when you brought it home, the freezer didn't work. People berated you for complaining, and you had to wait four months for the company to get it in working order. But when they fixed the freezer, now the fridge portion didn't work. It's not okay in this case, and it's not okay with video games. This is not a small indie company, this is a $60 title from a major publisher. Respectfully, but firmly demand your products function they way they were intended and promoted.

    Some people might not experience said glitches, those that aren't flight sim enthusiasts at all and have just jumped on the hype train and want to fly a Cessna 172 around with no experience. I have no doubt they'll enjoy their time thoroughly. But for me, I'm not enjoying myself at all. I'm frustrated with all aspects of this game.

    Криворуки дебилам что делали этот продукт надо по голове дать. Играть невозможно.    Установил пресет на минимальное качество графики, все равно вылетает при подлету к Парижу.     I will give this game some points as it does look beautiful and amazing. That is only if you can get this to actually work. I had to restart download 2 times for this game and didn't even get to experience it when it was downloaded. The problem is this game is too linear, so much that I don't think PC's (except if its a NASA computer) were ready for this. Microsoft had an amazing idea in mind that I fully support but the technology standards right now aren't there. This is too advanced for most PC's and Microsoft made something that was too much for basic technology to process. Its the entire world that's being downloaded, something that doesn't come at an easy cost. Along with that, textures, planes, everything else, that's just too much for basic systems to handle. For those with a NASA computer for say, you may enjoy this game but for the common gamer, they will not even get the chance. In other words, to put this game, it's like Back To The Future where Marty plays 80's metal in the 1950s. The people weren't ready for that yet and neither weren't we to experience Flight Sim. If this were to come out a few years later, I may be able to give this game a higher review but as of now, this game isn't ready yet.… Expand

    The content manager which you use to download the rest of the game is completely broken for me. Download either is painfully slow then just stops mid way through after 30-40hours downloading (i have a high speed connection), or it gets stuck in a loop at the start. Tried all troubleshooting options available online and i’v persisted for days now trying to solve the issue to no avail.     El PC se sobrecalienta a niveles muy altos, teniendo una 2080 ti y un i7, no puedo correrlo ni a 60 fps. El Port de este juego es más cutre que el del gta IV. Parece un juego de 2006, literalmente. Con estar a 10 km ya se nota que la calidad de un edificio es bazofia. Después de haber venido del The Last of Us Parte II, este juego (gráficamente) es como dar limonada a un perro. Un 0 merecido.

    REALISM?: Here is the most important aspect because it is the simulator - nit the GTA!!!
    To be honest it sucks hard. I will not go into details because I would have to write a book, but in comparable the A2A, PMDG or even FlightOne or Carenado, those defaults planes are a joke.

    Reasuming this product is nice graphic simulator game and to abtain status of real simulator like x-plane or P3D, users again will have to spent hundreds or thousands $$$ for addons to make it REAL!!!    … Expand

    In my experience and my friend's experience in this game, we had multiple crashes horrendous texture streaming, incredibly low frame rates, and a flight model that doesn't feel anything like real life. Also for all the potential steam users thinking of buying this disgusting cash grab, just know that they have an "anti" refund policy which includes downloading a 500MB launcher on steam which you are supposed to download the game in, and bear in mind this download is counted as playtime which means no refund for you buddy, though there is a way to refund this garbage and it is making a support ticket with steam and explaining the situation and they will be glad to give your money back to you and if all else fails then just do a Paypal chargeback or credit card chargeback :)… Expand

    I very rarely write reviews but thought i really must on this occasion due to the worst launcher for a game i've ever seen. Tried to install, countless times it would lock after the ''press any key'' page, so annoying, even tried running as admin to no avail. Im now left with reinstalling all 90gb worth which im not sure i can be bothered. MICROSOFT THIS IS BLOODY TERRIBLE.

    I was looking forward to MFS2020 but I have been very disappointing I have a really good rig not top but up there but the game runs pretty bad and when I say bad I mean by my standards, I have heard that even top rigs are lucky to get 50-60 fps but I was lucky to get 40 and this is supposed to be acceptable.     and default planes are ok I prefer that they made less quantity and more details and fewer bugs, so until 3rd party is gonna be a long way,
    the conclusion is a very good graphics and wheather visuals game with too many bugs and so many areas where they have to move from older sim code and improve places like performance ai traffic atc and game modes otherwise people gonna get bore until good addons come, the game is on beta cause this is not a finish products    … Expand

    - Again is MFS is the machine for making the money: simpe nice graphic world exists, procedures and rest sucks but ok we will focus on making new planes and sceneries.
    - Probably development of ASOBO will stop here where MFS is now in context of making simulator more real (read above) and they will focus now on making new sceneries and making ths MFS just looking more nice.

    I would find many more when I go into details. It is interesting if ATC supports transition altitudes for example or how icing works or how the plane will behave without anty icing system ON in icing conditions. How AI aircraft behave who have to first way or RVSM....

    FS Airlines, FS passengers FS Captain and GSXv2 - those all features should be included into versions of flight simulator instead of sceneries and additional planes. Asobo first off all should focus on gameplay instead of making simple things like sceneries of airports for deluxe versions.
    New MFS should have ATC SID STARS etc included + emergency procedures. We should have in deluxe versions possibility to crate airline, employ pilots, fly with them in multi crew aircraft, work together to obtain succes for an airline, do competition with other airlines, buy/sell/lease aircrafts, repair them and every flight should save the state of plane. We should have pilot ratings, licensing, penalting system and exams built in.
    Insted of this we have ♥♥♥♥ half finished product where MS can now make to money on sceneries and airports insted of focusing on things heavy to program. Third party addon NEVER will be soo good as made by authors therefore MS should make the most difficult things like phisics, failure system, economy and servers for it, airline system and all what I described above. Simple things like sceneries should be left for third party studios.

    Moreover about multiplayer:
    Multiplayer should be hybrid of multiplayer and single player mode. Where we can fly with friend in multicrew aircraft in multiplayer world but EVERY EMPTY tower (no palyer ON - like on VATSIM) should be controlled by AI ATC, the same with planes, if the are is empty it should be filed in AI planes like in GTA online to make the world more dynamic.    … Expand

    I have a decent desktop PC so the performance issue is fine on my end.
    But ever since the launch I'm experiencing server issues where I can't select any servers cuz they're not there on the server list and the game stuck on Automatic server and can't actually assign me into one. I can't see any live flights and/or other real players in the world map. I can only see my friends so I thought "Ok let's multiplayer then". But when I enter the actual game world, I can't see anyone! Not even my in game friends which appears on my world map!
    I've submitted a ticket on Zendesk which is their "supporting" site since the day of launch. But did I got a reply?
    Nope! 4 days and not a single word from their supporting team lol

    That's the major issue that I've been facing lately but that's not the ONLY issue I've encountered since launch.
    The world map's filter keep at a really weird configuration where I can't see any airports. I stuck at reset it into default every time I enter the world map.
    The manual cache page keeps at a whopping 500ms frame time so I can't select any region to cache.
    The game will crash if you have any usb devices plug in or pull out.
    And on and on and on......

    I currently have 3 tickets opened at Zendesk and I don't expect them to reply me anytime soon cuz I don't think they really care about minor bugs and issues since there are soooo many ppl aren't able to even enter the game. I won't refund it cuz it really got potential but I also won't change my score even if Microsoft and Asobo fixed these issues since this is the most disastrous launch I've ever experienced since Forza Horizon 3 Windows 10 Launch lol (Remember THAT Microsoft??)    … Expand

    Los mapas son creados de manera muy mala en mi experiencia me tope con muchos fallos. Y como simulador deja mucho que desear. Muchos bugs que hacen que la experiencia no se disfrute, desde la calidad de los mapas, no es realista con la ciudad en la que estas. Las fisicas tampoco son reales hice choques de prueba y nada.

Most importantly, the devs can't even get some basic things done right-- like flight dynamics-- you can actually fly a 787-10 in full thrust with vertical speed of +8000ft/min and accelerate at the same time; plus all those exaggerated physical effects (e.g torque effect), what a garbage, even FSX is more realistic flight dynamics than this shxt. Also have to mention that this poorly done garbage is full of bugs, like the control assignment sometimes can't function properly, and the gauges go dead during flight, which is just like an Alpha-testing-stuff. Honestly, for those fly simmers, never do simming with MFS 2020, stick with P3D/XP11 for now, until PMDG releases their NG3; for new plyers by the way, just don't expect the tutorial will teach you much (because there are just a few courses, HA!), unless you don't expect to learn any deeper aviation knowledge, then the tutorials would be fine for you. To briefly sum up, this should not be called as SIMULATOR, as it's just a unrealistic/ unprofessional buggy garbage.… Expand

Para los pilotos profesionales, Maicrosof Flai simuleitor no es más que un jueguito cutre; para los gamers, uno de los métodos más efectivo para coger el sueño (mejor que los fármacos o que contar ovejas).

    El apartado gráfico es deficiente, el entorno solo se ve decentemente cuando vuelas a unos 40.000 píes de altura, pero, cuando te acercas a superficie terrestre, descubres que los escenarios son de cartón piedra. A ras de suelo las texturas son extremadamente pobres (de juego de 32 bits) y los "vehículos" (lo que se supone que son vehículos) flotan como los globos de una fiesta de cumpleaños. El mundo es muy grande, sí, pero los elementos que hay en él son parecidos a los del decorado de una maqueta. Lamentable.

    Sobre la jugabilidad no hay mucho que decir, es simple, monótona, soporífera... Si buscas diversión, este «juego» no es para ti. Bueno, como no pretendo hacer un análisis muy extenso, pero sí preciso, voy a ir directo al punto, Maicrosof Flai Simuleitor es una absoluta cagada, sin matices, no podría salvarlo ni aunque lo sacaran para PlayStation, por lo tanto, mi calificación es un 1/10.     Me imaginaba algo más revolucionario, todo el apartado de simulación en la conducción de los aviones está bien realizado, pero se vuelve muy aburrido a la hora de viajar, está echo para gente muy específica no para cualquier jugador que busca diversión en un juego, hay algunos aeropuertos que no están tan cuidados como otros, hay momentos que si te acercas al nivel de del mar tiene muyMe imaginaba algo más revolucionario, todo el apartado de simulación en la conducción de los aviones está bien realizado, pero se vuelve muy aburrido a la hora de viajar, está echo para gente muy específica no para cualquier jugador que busca diversión en un juego, hay algunos aeropuertos que no están tan cuidados como otros, hay momentos que si te acercas al nivel de del mar tiene muy malos gráficos hasta se ven algunas edificaciones en 2D, en fin me desilucionó… Expand

    It’s not just a game, it’s a phenomenon. It lets you explore literally the whole planet – cities, mountains, lakes, rivers, even my house was there – from the cockpits of 20-30 (depends on the version of the game) airplanes. Flying experiences are also great and vary from machine to machine. I’m sure I’ll be returning to MFS for years to come. [11/2020, p.38]

    When all is said and done, Microsoft Flight Simulator in its current state reminds me a lot of Sea of Thieves shortly after launch. The game has a lot of promise and a lot of potential, but it is marred by a number of issues that keep it from really shining. Once the issues have been worked out in six months or a year from now, I fully expect Microsoft Flight Simulator to be a must-have title. Right now, unless you are a hardcore flight sim fanatic, I would pass on buying the premium version and just stick to playing the basic version that's included with GamePass.
