    Metal Gear Survive is the game I want it to be about…10% of the time. When there’s a rare section where stealth is the best approach. When I just manage to defeat the final wave on a protection mission, thanks to strategic placement of defences. When I’m thinking my way out of a tense situation, moments away from being overwhelmed – by zombies, rather than starvation or suffocation...Most of the time though, it’s a game that goes out of its way to be repetitive, frustrating and dull.

    The game is actually a full priced DLC with microtransactions. Everything was reused from MGSV, soundtrack, animations, voice acting, theyThe game is actually a full priced DLC with microtransactions. Everything was reused from MGSV, soundtrack, animations, voice acting, they even reused Quiet's face on Miranda. The game feels like an extension of MGO3. The single player mode is soulless and requires constant internet connection. The main character is referred as Captain, and the only thing he says during the whole game is scream for big boss when they are being sucked by the wormhole, no voice lines apart from that. The game is mediocre when it comes to cutscenes, they made some kind of messenger dialog with cheesy voice acting to replace the well crafted cutscenes that is actually part of the Metal Gear series. I bet there was no mocap for this game and the very few cutscenes the game have where animated digitally only. There's no enemies variations, the AI is dumb as hell, the crafting is boring, and when the main character is hungry, you need to consume at least 5 goats. I don't know what to say, I just wanna cry, I mean it. The Metal Gear series is officially dead.… Full Review »
