    This is probably the only real time strategy game so far by 2006, which has AIs assembling mechanical bots (the large androids people think are Gundam Wing action figures). Intuitive and original... only thing missing... map editor. If you buy the game, know that the fights will be more reckless skirmishes than strategic manuvers like any other real time strategy games. The most fun I have gotten out of this game was probably just building a base with killer robots and make it look cool. You play in the skies, on the surface, and underground. Your robots also fly!     One of my favorite games in childhood, and its really a remake worth, or a sequel. I love the way how you build your robots, fight with them and maybe shoot of the arm of another robot to pick it up for you own and continue the fight with it.

    Good game but hard to beat w/o cheating cuz the AI gets exponentially tougher as the game progresses, and it can work on three maps simultainiously while you can only work on one.

    Metal Fatigue is the, in my eyes, best RTS ever. Sure, the graphics aren't that great - but the #1 rule for video games is still: gamplay > graphics. And gameplay is the thing that Metal Fatigue makes superior compared to other RTS-games.

    Best and most diverse RTS ever released. Can build own robots and let them fight. What more can we wish for?

    RTS game featuring the assembly and customization of giant robots. It also has 3 levels on the map (air, surface, underground) to fight on simultaneously. All in all it is a unique approach for a strategy game not seen elsewhere. Robot graphics, sounds and animations are nice, but the terrain is unfortunately rather dull. What it lacked in standard elements common at the time (it was no SC or AoE clone) it more than made up in innovation and, OMG, the combots are the best thing in any strategy game ever created. I hope it gets a sequel or at least a remake like Homeworld. Its biggest flaws were a low detail terrainOne of the best and most under-appreciated RTS games of all time and in my personal top 5.     Love this Game.

    Three layers of action and a good story. I know it has some issues but overall the Idea is nice, performed pretty well and it's fun to play in general ! Hope there will be a Patch or a steam integration released.
