A very basic adventure game, but more than capable of planting a big dumb grin on your face for its duration. [June 2012, p.64]

I found this on Desura, an indie-only Steam-like, and it could raise an interest among several people : an adventure game where a metalhead is trying to survive a zombie invasion. The two australian developers are aiming at giving us fun, and I must confess that the dialogs and brilliant situations are, indeed, quite funny. It's not hilarious, but it's nice. other than that, sure the 8-bit metal music feels weird, and the visuals are clearly ugly... but one can get used to it, and if it wasn't for the quite perfectible interface, it's 6 hours of decent fun and adventure for a very low price.

A fabulous debut from those fine fellows down at Walk Thru Walls Studios Metal Dead is confident, innovate and above all brilliantly written.A fabulous debut from those fine fellows down at Walk Thru Walls Studios Metal Dead is confident, innovate and above all brilliantly written. Snap this up now and for the cost of a pint you'll get one of the best written adventure games of the last few years; you can't argue really. If you're looking for a fun adventure game with zombies, mad-scientists and a disembodied talking head look no further; I for one can't wait for the next instalment. Full Review »
