The game is fun, extremely cinematic and a total bang for the buck with Multiplayer, gauntlets and the emotional documentary.

The graphics are like something out of 2004 despite the steep requirements. A diverse cast is rammed down your throat because ofc you're going to be working with the resistance a lot and as well all know in the revised history of WW2 there were literally women on the frontlines all the time.

If you want something historically accurate or interesting, give this a miss. If you want a good shooter, install Pavlov. If you want a graphically impressive and immersive experience, install Alyx. This game fails to even just be fun like the Walking Dead game at least.

It comes as no surprise that something like this was shat out by EA. Ignore the paid reviews, just go on youtube and start watching the campaign. It speaks for itself.

I like it! could be better, yes... but it's good nevertheless, comparing with other VR titles... this is something better than the rest.

This is not a perfect game but hey i have so much fun with it. And it looks good. It's not a Alyx but it's a Medal of Honor and it works really well. Btw... Multiplayer is little buggy but i'm sure they will fix it. U can also play with friends or alone vs bots. Thats great.

My God, how terribly executed. Apparently some devs were invited to learn how to implement basic VR functionalities, oddly making the same mistakes others have learned to evade in 2016. Not even recommendable for VR enthusiasts that currently have nothing to play. Worst thing: $60/€60 for this title is not even just impertinent, it's entirely delusional.

This game is amazing, the graphics are gorgeous even though not photorealistic and the story is great! I did not expect that after the bad reviews I have read and I am really happy that I bought this game!
ps: I first bought this game on steam and it was so laggy then I bought it on the oculus store and it was just perfect (My configuration is Iower than the one recommended and I have a quest 2)

The Forest Chase mission is the worst in performance. There are only 1 youtuber who showed this mission and presented the same problems. Others only showed missions that flow well in performance.
Waiting for Respawn and Oculus to fix the $ 60 I spent on an average game. NOTE: I already touched the GameUserSettings.ini file and even setting the settings to 0, the game still has problems in

It is clear that it is poorly developed.

Note I just built a top of the line PC specifically for VR gaming and those with systems that to meet the recommended hardware requirements may not have the same exceptional experience that I had.

Quite offended by this game. Devs do realize that there is no reason for pandering in a VR fps game that also supposed to be somewhat historically accurate and (or) authentic? Alphabet people would not be able to afford this game price tag + required hardware price tag considering they should also somehow be interested in both VR and first person shooters? Disgraceful.

Minority propaganda aside, this is rather underwhelming VR title on its own. It would've been great in like 2016 (maybe would've include less agenda too) but after other more mature VR experience, some of which are indie, this one feels particularly bad. "Victory" every screen 5 minutes? Rather annoying.

Also, buggy and unoptimized mess sometimes, dead on arrival multiplayer, 150+ gb of storage

    Refund and forget.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Ripperdocs, rockerboys, braindances, screamsheets. Highriders, hotdoggers, and hydro. Eddies and gonks, choombas and rollers. Edgerunners, jainas, and joytoys. Such is the slang that seethes through Cyberpunk 2077, the new game from CD Projekt Red. The setting is Night City—a bright babel of steel and smog, located on the verge of the Pacific, under the rays of a scalding sun. We are a long way from the fertile hills and forests of The Witcher, the series that made CD Projekt Red into what the citizens of Night City might call a megacorp. And yet, even here, amid the metalheads and the netpigs and the ICE, the spell remains the same.

No other developer is as adept at adapting the work of writers—at wrangling the fully formed visions of the page and coding them into colour and form. If this counts as a lack of imagination (the studio has yet to conjure a fiction from scratch), it’s more than made up for by the airtight seal of its worlds. The source here is Cyberpunk (and its subsequent editions, Cyberpunk 2020 and Cyberpunk Red), the tabletop role-playing game written by Mike Pondsmith, whose lore is rich in lingo. Dropping into Night City for the first time, I was reminded of A Clockwork Orange, Anthony Burgess’s dystopia, which was spiked with a Russian-flavoured dialect, called Nadsat, that locked us into its landscape of despair. As was the case with The Witcher 3—with its tempest of names and its slow-trickling accounts of regional trouble—the early hours of Cyberpunk 2077 feel like a wild hunt for footing. You’re plunged into the stab and chop of its streetspeak, and plied with tomes of cyberhistory. good Game

Really, really fun, one of my favourite VR games.
Although inconsistent, the combat is satisfying and the variety of what you do throughout the campaign is remarkable, driving a tank, skydiving, storming Omaha beach, shooting enemies while skiing, it's just plain fun.

The game is awesome. The story is nice, the gameplay couldn't be more fantastic and different from each other. I played the story to the 5th chapter and so far it was amazing. The only things that bother me are the bugs. I liked the first Medal of Honor in PS1 and loved Medal of Honor Frontline on PS2 (it was the best). However this game is a love-hate. I think they tried to do such a big game that they failed. It feels like unfinished, may be if it was been less ambitous and more cared it would have been a superb game.
Regarding to shooter games, i think Half Life Alyx is still by far the best VR game

Regarding to shooter games, i think Half Life Alyx is still by far the best VR game and Vertigo the second.

PROS: Wonderful and detailed enviroments + Very satisfactory use of the weapons + Long and much varied game + Great music that fits in the adventure

CONS: Too many scenes where you only stand up and see + Climbing is failed + Weaponry managed is confussing + Something is wrong with the height (i'm very short and it doesn't happen to me in other any game) + Sniper mode gets black screen and it doesn't have zoom (so you see the enemy at the same distance as the eye) + Pick up things are failed and some things are getable but not others + Hands go through walls and things + Etc...

So terribly disappointing. The game could do so much better, but it's laggy, buggy and very repetitive. You basically shoot, run, shoot run, collect something, shoot run. I finished it, but it does not deserve anything above 5. The graphics are very mediocre, a lot of weird faces. Overall, it looks very amatour.

Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond, if nothing else, represents a symbolic step forward for VR game platforms like the Oculus Quest 2. It’s the closest thing to a AAA title I’ve played on my headset yet. I don’t know if its nearly-50GB file size is warranted given the so-so visuals, but I did have a lot of fun with the Campaign missions. I’ll still wait a while for the multiplayer to work out its kinks, but I can see myself enjoying that eventually, too. All in all, I’m not sure if Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond would do Grandpa proud, but if you own an Oculus Quest 2, it’s a fun experience and worthy of your time.

Medal of Honor Above and Beyond returns to Oculus Quest II, and the challenge is great on this small autonomous headset. And unfortunately, he doesn’t get it too. The technique is often faulty, with jerky animations of the sets and characters, which can become unpleasant over time. And if we set the graphics settings to the maximum, the game almost starts to row. In addition, the single player campaign, made up of small scenes of a few minutes, offers a false rhythm, with a lot of rather long dialogue, with a French accent in overplayed English, between two sometimes short fights. If some spectacular passages stand out, it is difficult to get excited about its events. A survival mode and a multiplayer mode complete the picture, but the rather stupid AI of the enemies does not make it all essential. It's a shame, because in terms of interaction, it was pretty well done, with pretty cool weapon handling. On recent releases, prefer Resident Evil 4 VR, by far.

Bland plot (which prevents Above and Beyond from being a truly magnificent experience) and somewhat cartoonish characters did not spike the game’s guns. I was impressed with the scope and details of the environments, and gunplay was awesome because the weapons have a nice kick to them. If only the controls were better… I lost count of the situations when I picked up a wrong object or ended up giving myself an injection instead of throwing a grenade. [02/2021, p.62]
