A flawed superhero adventure even when it was first released, but the passage of time and a superior follow-up makes this a difficult recommendation at such a high price.

Highly recommended on high-end gaming PCs. Everyone else should wait for day-one impressions—or take the plunge for roughly one hour, then use Steam's built-in refund service in the event that early performance is as bad for you as it was for us.

A lot of us have been recommending this game for almost four years now, and with the slick visual upgrade, it's even easier to vouch for.

You’ll need a powerful enough rig to get the best of the best visually speaking—4K 60fps with ray tracing set to max will have to wait for a patch—but even at lower tiers the game looks amazing. [Impressions]

Although its crisp new coat of paint is an undeniable upgrade, Marvel’s Spider-Man can’t help but show its age. It reminds me of Brooklyn Nine-Nine — cute, funny, and ultimately propagating a series of comfortable lies about the NYPD. It’s why, as I play, I’ve spent so much more time on my Steam Deck doing chores around the city, rather than advancing the main story.
  5. The existence of Spider-Man: Miles Morales is kind of shame in the context of this review. Marvel's Spider-Man is a great game, and this version comes packaged with all the extras. Were it not for the existence of Miles Morales, I'd have no qualms recommending you get this Spider-Man right now. But I am cursed with the knowledge that Miles Morales exists, is a bit tighter, cleaner, and more dynamic, and is coming to PC very soon. I don't think you'd regret getting Marvel's Spider-Man - it is, I must emphasise again, a quality game - but, look. If you can only get one.

    Absolutely Amazing PC Version!

I mean it, this might be one of the best PC versions in years, runs smooth even on lower-end PC-s. Game

Game itself is fantastic, easily best Spider-Man game ever made. Story, graphics, voice acting, open-world design- everything is just top tier for a Spider-Man game. I would highly recommend this, if you have ever cared about Spider-Man. Swinging around the city feels so smooth even with Keyboard+Mouse. I was worried how these controls work on Keyboard and Mouse, and i have to say, surprisingly well. There are lots of different moves and buttons, so it might take like few minutes to learn everything, but after that it is great experience. Also, for PC, easily one of the best releases in 2022. I guess now its time to wait for Last of Us Remake and Uncharted 4 PC versions!

    Thank you Sony!
