    Uno de los peores juegos que he jugado de lejos. Historia malísima, mecánicas simples y repetitivas a mas no poder y muchos bugs.

    To be honest... 4 years after launch and this game is still full of glitches and crashes very often. The gameplay is repetitive and predictable. The only 2 good things? The story cutscenes and Vito Scalleta... . Other then that, it's not really worth playing.

    I hated it when I've initially purchased it, but after so many years, I've given it another shot and I'm having a ton of fun playing it. Not sure if anything changed since I've tried it, all I can say is that it's a excellent game (and a masterpiece in terms of acting/cutscenes atmosphere, etc). Great story, great mechanics (with some issues here and there), great environments/models,I hated it when I've initially purchased it, but after so many years, I've given it another shot and I'm having a ton of fun playing it. Not sure if anything changed since I've tried it, all I can say is that it's a excellent game (and a masterpiece in terms of acting/cutscenes atmosphere, etc). Great story, great mechanics (with some issues here and there), great environments/models, great animations (nicely emphasizing the character's weight), great acting, etc.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Quando o jogo lançou, vi muita gente reclamando de como ele era repetitivo, e chato. Após baixar e jogar por 2h, concordo na parte do repetitivo, porém, falar que o jogo é mal feito, é muita mentira.
    A ambientação desse jogo é INCRÍVEL, músicas, carros, cenários, roupas dos NPCs, te fazem realmente se sentir como o Lincoln Clay em New Bordeaux 1968 (até na parte do racismo em certos locais e com certas pessoas do mapa).
    Em questão de combate, para o estilo do jogo, é muito bem feito, a variedade de armas, aremessáveis, e o modo que o combate se passa são bons.
    Já em questão de dirigibilidade e mapa, infelizmente Mafia 3 peca bastante. Sabemos que explorar o mapa é bom, porém, só poder recrutar chefes após pegar grampos e invadir caixas de sinais, chega a dar um pouco de desanimo. Pra quem gosta de caçar 100%, este jogo tem bastante espaço para você.
    Caso tenha umas horinhas livres (e bastante paciência para ir e vir), vale a pena dar uma chance para esse jogo, caso contrário, passe longe, fique no Mafia 2    … Expand

    That's exactly how would I describe Mafia 3...

    First, the pros. Graphics-wise, it's really nice. The city is well made and the buildings are well modelled. Interiors are also nice. The whole atmosphere of the city is very well captured, but it feels a bit strange to make such a detailed city only for driving around and killing people. Main characters are nicely modelled as well, but the 'generic' ones can be very repetitive sometimes. Car models look nice, but some of them are quite bland.

    Soundtrack is amazing. Radio stations have a lot of bangers and the ambient music is great as well, and it’s dynamic and it works pretty well!

    Gameplay is both good and bad. Gunplay would be the highpoint only if your opponents wouldn't be able to outshoot you , an ex-CIA Vietnam War veteran. They can shoot precisely even from the weirdest positions. Driving is...weird at least. Simulation doesn't feel like a simulation at all, which is baffling given how the previous two Mafias could do it pretty well. And you can't store them, because you can only unlock some of them from the predefined list. But the tuning is quite okay-ish, the only problem there is that it doesn't matter, because of the rubberbanding every AI driver uses. Opponents are sometimes Einsteins, sometimes dumbos. Nothing in between. You can lure them to one corner and kill them all there without them noticing something's happening and that they shouldn't go there. Police is also weird. They lack all the features present in the older games. They either don't care or shoot. When they decide to do something with you, in 10 seconds there's a half of NB's police department on your back. That's not because of racism, that's not because they're funded by Marcano, that's just dumb game design. Also, you can't outrun them, even with a faster vehicle, because of the rubberbanding I've mentioned. And one other thing, car chases are even more annoying because of enemy's pinpoint precision, which enables them to destroy your tyres in 5s at the distance of 100m.

    The biggest problem with the game is the story and missions.

    Main protagonists are quite okay written, the best one is obviously Donovan. The others are...meh. Even Lincoln, he looks more like a killing machine than a person. I understand why he’s like that, it just feels weird and unnatural. The dubbing is well made tho.
    The prologue is great, although a bit confusing because you're jumping between past and present. After that, prepare for the most generic and repetitive gameplay ever. Basically the plot is about how Sal Marcano betrayed (and almost killed) you, so you seek revenge. To get to him, you need to kill all of his underbosses and friends. And you can achieve that by capturing districts in the city.
    BIG SPOILER AHEAD!
    All of the district capturing goes like this: meet with two informers, they tell you what two rackets are present in the district and what you should do to them, then the missions spawn on the map. Each district has two different rackets. You need to do certain damage to them to lure out the racket owners. All the missions are: Kill, get info from someone, destroy/steal stuff. Usually, there's one 'unique' mission per racket, which has a different plot but it involves the same stuff as the other ones. After you deal enough damage to the rackets, the racket owner will go out from hiding (usually to a place which you've been to, which is a genius move by him given the fact that you're already familiar with the place). You kill him and then you do the same with the other racket owner. After you kill both of them, you can now deal with the Marcano‘s underboss.
    Honestly, the big missions (killing important people, planting bugs to cars, saving people etc.) are well made and enjoyable, but they take up like 15-20% of the gameplay, which is a problem for a game named Mafia. Mafia was always about the story and missions.
    And that’s the other problem, it’s not a Mafia game. You don’t play as a mobster. You don’t run a mafia. Hell, you’re a black guy (no racism), so you wouldn’t even be able to be a made man. I’m not saying that the story is bad, it’s just badly implemented into the game. Which is a shame, because if you look at the game’s DLCs, they are exactly what Mafia III should be. They have great story, unique missions and quite fun gameplay. The DLCs are much better than the OG story, which is sad. If I give Mafia III 6/10, the DLCs are 8/10. It’s a shame, because they clearly wanted to make a good game, but they stopped halfway through the process.

    Si bien, no es un juego totalmente nefasto, sin duda es el peor de toda la saga. El que yo considero que es el mayor defecto de este juego es el gran relleno que tiene, es decir, lo alargaron mediante misiones aburridas y los mecanismos de territorios, que si bien, al principio parecen buenos y divertidos, al final terminan convirtiéndose repetitivos y tediosos. Algo que caracterizaba aSi bien, no es un juego totalmente nefasto, sin duda es el peor de toda la saga. El que yo considero que es el mayor defecto de este juego es el gran relleno que tiene, es decir, lo alargaron mediante misiones aburridas y los mecanismos de territorios, que si bien, al principio parecen buenos y divertidos, al final terminan convirtiéndose repetitivos y tediosos. Algo que caracterizaba a los dos primeros juegos fue su corta historia, que si bien, era un punto negativo, creo que esto es muchísimo peor. Ahora, si mejoraron algunos aspectos, ya que yo considero que la jugabilidad mejoro un poco sobre los anteriores mafia, sin embargo, no la consideraría buena. La música que contiene el juego es agradable y muy bien inspirada en la época. Vimos un aumento grande de armas a comparación del juego anterior. En conclusión, el juego tenía potencial para ser el mejor de la saga, pero de por si la historia es la mas liviana de los 3, todavía quedo peor con todo el relleno que ya mencioné. По большому счету это химера 'Ассасин Крид' и 'Сан Андреас', открытие вышек (установка прослушки) и захват территорий на месте. Вообще разрабы любят подпиздить чужие идеи из других игр, особенно этоМафия 3? Нет! Вообще разрабы любят подпиздить чужие идеи из других игр, особенно это ощущается в DLC. Игра при своем экшон геймплее достаточно медитативная, зашел от нефиг делать, пару часиков пострелял, на машинке покатался, квестики повыполнял, кинцо посмотрел, кайфанул, через пару дней снова зашел почилил на пару часов, а играть фулл тайм из за своего однообразия не рекомендуется, будет фулл духота.

    Из минусов:
    - однообразный и рутинный геймплей между основными сюжетными миссиями;
    - полное отсутствие быстрого перемещения в игре с опен ворлдом KEKW, растягиваем геймплей по полной, катайся через всю карту туда сюда;
    - вторичные персонажи достаточно душные и грузят своей пиздастрадальческой нудятиной;
    - весьма агрессивная пропаганда СЖВ;
    - баги, обычно связанные со скриптами, то задание не запустится, то наоборот не будет пропадать, хотя выполнил его 200 лет назад и тд в таком ключе;

    Из плюсов:
    - годная музыка задающая атмосферу;
    - сносная проработка города, по которому приятно ездить;
    - аркадная, но чиловая езда, особенно при прокаченной тачке;
    - стрельба, та же чиловая аркадность из разряда 'почувствуй себя Джоном Уиком';
    - в меру дозированная жестокость и насилие, которая задает свой шарм игре;
    - тонна активностей, которые при неспешном прохождении могут сносно убить время;
    - DLC, расширяют основной геймплей, дарят годные фишечки и дают любопытные истории, которые переполнены спизженными идеями из других удачных тайтлов 'The Evil Within' 'Uncharted' 'The Witcher 3' и хз чего еще, зато сносно подано, пиздим у лучших и правильно.
    - сюжет, сносный криминальный триллер, который киномотографично и интересно подан, а также не обошлось без приятных саспенсов для фанатов серии в финале истории.

    Hum. What a shame on this one. Again game from 20+ years (Mafia Definitive Edition, I & II) are so much more enjoyable. You can really compare the both era of those dev studio. How shameful it is to release this after the two masterpiece. I mean.. for me it’s just not a Mafia. We are waiting for a Mafia III one day :)

    A fun game that stretches out a bit too long. A great soundtrack across the board makes pumping shotgun shells into the chest of a goon's chest who's bloody body proceed to launch into the wall behind him a good amount of fun with the use of good looking animations and we'll weighted Ragdolls.

    The story and the characters have some nice texture but lack a bit of depth in some ways. What    A fun game that stretches out a bit too long. A great soundtrack across the board makes pumping shotgun shells into the chest of a goon's chest who's bloody body proceed to launch into the wall behind him a good amount of fun with the use of good looking animations and we'll weighted Ragdolls.

    The story and the characters have some nice texture but lack a bit of depth in some ways.
    What holds the game back the most is the already mentioned repetitiveness as there is a decent chance that you have to clear out the same hall of goons once again depending on the territory just to kill a leader who you really don't care about.
    The character of Franklin looks is a bit unusual as he is taller and tougher then any other character you can see throughout the game, but that doesn't mean it isn't fun breaking bones with this hulk of a character.    … Expand

    Как по мне это худшая игра во франшизе. Более того она совсем не про мафию. 2к попытались бадаться с ГТА но у них это явно не получилось. Подача истории очень хорошая и смотреть видеовставки на ютубе было довольно интересная, но играть в эту игру просто невыносимо.Как по мне это худшая игра во франшизе.     Not the best of the franchise. Not the greatest story, not the greatest gameplay. But the 60s ambiance is really good, the musics are really well used and the characters well written. If you only play for the story, this is a great game. i can't wait to see mafia 4

    I played Mafia 1 (2002) and it was 10/10 without any doubts. Then I played Mafia 2. 9/10, awesome, especially the story! But after playing Mafia 3... The game is a massive downhill, because Daniel Vávra did not work on this project... It was not created with love like previous 2 mafias... Graphics is blurry even at 4K resolution. I tried to render it at 8K and downscale it to 4K (native)I played Mafia 1 (2002) and it was 10/10 without any doubts. Then I played Mafia 2. 9/10, awesome, especially the story! Graphics is blurry even at 4K resolution. I tried to render it at 8K and downscale it to 4K (native) and there was the same result. Car physics is far from being realistic. When you jump in the boat, you have rear view mirror in the top of the screen like in car. Really?     A a big let-down since the first two Mafia games. While I loved Mafia I and Mafia II, this game bored me really quick. The story is boring and the gameplay repetitive.

    The songs were great, the missions were repeatative but generally fun, i really liked shooting places up even for the hell of it. It's a great game if you don't view it as a Mafia game, but if you do look at it from the "third game of the Mafia franchise" then yea it doesn't really live up to expectations. I normally hate the collectibles-scattered-around,the-map idea but collectingThe songs were great, the missions were repeatative but generally fun, i really liked shooting places up even for the hell of it.     One of the best openings to a game, but also, one of the worst games of all time. Mafia and Mafia 2 are one of the games I've ever played but Mafia 3... We don't talk about it.

    Hair raising story i get the chills just thinking about it. Very cinematic cutscenes... The car mechanics lack the refinement so does the optimisation.

    I remember when this game came out, everyone criticized it. 6 years have already passed and I decided to pass it. And I must say that this is still a raw game.
    The picture is full of cuteness, it feels like I started the game on the refrigerator.
    And no matter how many patches are released, no matter how hard 2K Games tries to fix bugs, they will still remain. It's been 6 years and    I remember when this game came out, everyone criticized it. 6 years have already passed and I decided to pass it. And I must say that this is still a raw game.

    And no matter how many patches are released, no matter how hard 2K Games tries to fix bugs, they will still remain. It's been 6 years and they're still there. The bodies fall as ridiculously as possible, and the mirrors are just a shame. How can an experienced game company not make good mirrors in the game?
    The main character, Lincoln Clay, is not the most charismatic character.
    The plot is very raw.They wanted to prove to us the philosophy of life, but unfortunately it didn't work out. And the gameplay is not bad and the game was comfortable to play, but the bugs spoiled it all the same.
    Also, the atmosphere is gone. Mafia 1 and Mafia 2 were famous for it, but unfortunately not Mafia 3...
    The missions are as similar as possible. There are only 4-5 interesting tasks in the game.
    And the most important thing. Mafia always differed from other games in that it was not a GTA clone. The mafia could make a very good competition. But Mafia 3 put the series to shame and is now considered a GTA clone.    … Expand

    While this game deviates from the format, the story of revenge shown isn't something original but it's done well and presented nicely. Everytime you kill someone and work your way up the list, the kill is awesome. It gets tedious after a while, but the gameplay makes up for the game loop.

    İlk çıkan Mafia 1 bundan kat ve kat daha iyiydi. Oyun ne grafiğiyle, ne oynanışıyla, ne de başka bir mekaniği ile ortaya bir fark koyuyor. Kısacası bu oyundan veya Hangar13'ten uzak durun. Birde ana karakterimizi mafyadan biri göstermek için oyun başındaki gereksiz peder babasının İtalyan olabileceğini söylüyor :D

    It's an underrated gem. The combat feels fluid and engaging. It has beautiful aesthetics, good gameplay, and a memorable story. The DLCs are also great. Of course, the game is not perfect and has some bugs and glitches, but nothing game-breaking. If you want to play it at max refresh rate, disable fullscreen optimization from the compatibility settings of the game's executable.

    Opravdu zatím nejhorší díl série. Mafia 3 je venku od října 2016 a dodnes trpí docela vážným postižením, kterému jsem z počátku nevěřil ale postupem času jsem pochopil. Grafika je dobrá, ovládání vozidel jak v předchozím díle dobré a příběh jakbysmet. Vskutku základ by tady byl.

Grafika je dobrá, ovládání vozidel jak v předchozím díle dobré a příběh jakbysmet. Vskutku základ by tady byl.

There is no real menu for the underboss system, which is the big thing in the game. There is also no menu to check your character stats or what upgrades you got. In general, buying upgrades is really weird. And finally (maybe it's just me), the world feels a bit lifeless.

    Overall, it comes down to an average score. But only because the story is not trash, it really carries the game. If you don't mind the repetitive stuff, then I would say it's slightly above average (6/10).    … Expand

    i am writing this honest review based on playing the game for two days , the game looks nice in matter of cinematic videos , i expect it to be a nice story which i couldn't complete , the graphics are good however lets look to cons .

    4- the movement of the main character is dull and swing , the driving of cars is too bad and old .

    This games story is amazing, but the gameplay holds it back so far that I couldn’t finish it because it’s just so repetitive. Graphics are bad, specifically skyboxes. DLC is pretty good though.

    Довольно недооценённая игра. Графика, точнее именно отрисовка персонажей ОЧЕНЬ реалистична, катсцены, мимика, анимации - всё это на высоте.
    Геймплей подкачал, сюжет неплох, атмосфера конфетка, сама игра очень хорошая

    The definitive edition is a very good game. Most bugs have been fixed. There are very few Bug. The story is very good. The vehicles are well controlled. The game can become repetitive after a long time. Many times you do the same thing in the game. I recommend buying it at a discounted price.

    MAFIA III is the first game of this franchise I have played.
    I was surprised of the horrible game physics when driving a car.
    The missions are repetitive because 2K built an overcrowded RPG.
    Next time: less missions and more thrilling moments. :-)

    This cant even be called a video game, the PC build is a massively consolized and poor console port, aside from having massive performance issues, being a blurry mess and locked to "SOLID 30 FPS" as the devs said, the game is plagued by crashes and by the fact that it even exists, a pathetic attempt at creating a video game.

    This game is so awful. When I decided to play on PC, it was because I have a choice. I could choose my hardware, my software, my resolution, my framerate, and my graphics, but what Hangar 13 did is unacceptable. They locked the game to 30FPS, and their reason for that is: "The team has been hard at work ensuring that Mafia III’s performance is consistent across all platforms, and right now the game runs at a solid 30 frames-per-second."

    That's the most **** I have ever heard in one sentence. Mafia III for PC is a console port. The game has so many problems when it comes to reflections, lighting, and no SLI support. The antialiasing just blurs the game to make the edges look better, the PC controls are horrendous, and the game is being upscaled from 720p. It's so damn hard to focus on the story aspect when the screen is tearing, the graphics are glitching out, things pop in at ridiculous distance, but wait, they are releasing a patch to make the game run over 60FPS, and fix the issues. Too late, you already screwed up the game's launch, and what you have done will not be forgotten. They did release the patch to unlock the framerate, but since they never optimized the game good, it still runs like **** This was my birthday present, and it's the worst **** birthday present I have ever gotten. Hangar 13 didn't deliver on their promise on putting time, and effort into their PC version. You had 5 **** years to sort all this **** out, but you didn't. Nice job Hangar 13, you made a sequel to Mafia II worse.

    Did not find the Mafia III Definitive Edition here, but I will say that the modified game pulls 9/10 in all its volume of the game and locations with scenarios in general.

    But the graphics are still not clear why they are so soapy and cloudy colors ...

    The games story is excellent and compelling. Every single character has a personality and is engaging. The DLC is enriching to the story without changing it, however one of rather outlandish, well two really, but one much more so.     The most interesting part of this game, like all mafia games, is the stories, you follow Lincoln Clay, a Vietnam war veteran that wants to revenge his friends and family death. The story is good but a little bit worse than the last two mafia games, as you're not the mafia himself and the one who want to take down the mafia.
    The graphic is somewhat mediocre, the texture is muddy and the system requirement is really high.
    But the most negative aspect of this game is the game is too repetitive, taking down business and the leader so the high ones come out so you can kill, rinse and repeat, the game is full open world yes but nothing much you can do in the world anyway.    … Expand

You can clearly see that the developers put a lot of work into that. The soundtrack is amazing, you cannot really go wrong with 1960's music. The collectibles, which are usually just a boring grind are actually very interesting in this game, although the idea is actually copied from Mafia II. The old 1960's Playboy magazines and Vargas pin-ups are going to make you miss the times when natural beauty of a woman was admired and preferred. The number of different cars is also very good and it is a pleasure to drive these old American beauties. But the actual models are pretty low quality (In many cases the quality is visibly lower that in the 6 year older Mafia II, which is really baffling). Which brings me to the negatives, of which there are many. The most apparent is the absolute lack of mission diversity. Vast portion of this game you will spend repetitively killing hundreds of Italian mobsters in all the different districts of the city. These repetitive grinds are separated by short doses of the actual story, which is full of unrealistic and cliche action movie moments. The enemy AI is not very good, the enemies are very predictable and repetitive. The game is not really challenging even on the highest level of difficulty. The save system is one of the worst I have ever seen. It is just completely wrong. The game also suffer from a number of bugs and crashes that were never really fixed. The microtransactions are present in Mafia III in the mild form of a weapons pack DLC. But all these indisputable mistakes pale in comparison with the last one. I wrote that the missions lack in diversity. Well, who absolutely does not lack in diversity is the main protagonist and all the other characters in this game. Mafia III is filled to the brim with the worst and most disgusting SJW propaganda you can imagine. All you need to really know is written on the first screen as soon as you start a new game. This game twists American history, rapes our heritage, it praises thugs and criminals and vilifies normal decent people. and will leave you with a sour taste in your mouth. In my eyes this brings Mafia III down so much that this otherwise average game is now among the worst of the worst.

    If this was just another action adventure game, it would be just a forgettable mistake, but this game bears the name Mafia, and it dishonors and shames this great series. As a big fan of the series I wish this game was never made. Final Verdict: 10 %    … Expand

При моём среднем пк, который вытягивает новые игры в среднем на высоких ( не ультра ) настройках, я играю на низких настройках графики, с постоянными просадками и микрофоизамиВ целом игра неплохая.     Well, it's playable, but far, very far from previous Mafia games. Driving is bad, missions are repeating and boring, the story is average. I hope they will not fick Mafia Definitive Edition with this.

    Would've given 10/10 but couldn't cause of the AI and optimization, I don't know how could Hangar 13 optimize this game so horribly, but I gave an 8 because of excellent story. The story is amazing al the DLC's, I'm waiting for a Mafia 4 but I don't want Hangar 13 to develop it for God's sake

    Tercera parte de la saga mafia.
    Esta tercera parte ha tenido un bajon considerable con respecto a la primera y segunda parte.
    El port a pc actualmente es bastante mejor a cuanto salio aunque sigue teniendo una optimizacion mediocre.

    The worst thing in this game is repeating the same missions all the time. Plus the game is glitched. Disappearing textures are not the worst thing here. Only thing that saves this game from 0 grade for me is driving patttern and final boss missions.

    I played this game long after release. Most of the bugs and 30 fps limit has been lifted etc. Graphics ok. Sometime very nice for old game. Story is linear but I liked it a lot. Game play is extended through DLC. Game play gets repetitive time to time. Yes the reason to drive and shoot alters but it is gets repetitive and grindy. Still some bugs but no more game breaking ones.

    Can say the best mobster game i have ever played. I mean there r better games like gta but this is about an awesome storyline, and the reality in the gameplay - these all make a difference.     had been released under another name I might give it
    possibly a 6/10 - yes the graphics (once you do a few
    tweaks and occasional groans under ya breath) are OK
    but not ground-breaking.

    The game itself is a cliché "revenge story"
    There is nothing new that has not been done in
    other similar games. Another point I would like
    to make - "cutscenes" hoish! I loved the cutscenes
    of the first game and yeah some of them in the
    second game, but here they jump out at you
    when you least expect them and the pop up
    tutorial just grates on me (would rather have a
    key you can press if needed) - But as it stands I am
    giving it *4/10 because of the misleading manner in
    which the devs have gone about the making and

    *best radio stations with commentary
    *best story driven in a game

Игра мне этой механикой со скучным, однотипным захватом территорий напомнила Assassin's Creed Syndicate. Только это тогда будет Syndicate на максималках. Там то хотя бы было много сюжетных квестов, а в мафии вообще караул (миссий 6-7 по сути, ну что это...).     I had a bad opinion when it first released...Gotta say that now after 4 years that ive retried playing it i find this game is a dope! I enjoy every moment of it. Music ,enviroment , gun shooting all i wanted.

    Mafia III isn’t necessarily a bad game, but it is definitely not a true heir to the Mafia series. The story is rich and the gameplay is satisfying (although it’s nothing special), but having played the previous games in the series (especially the first one), I never felt like I was playing a Mafia game.
