    Uno de los peores juegos que he jugado de lejos. Historia malísima, mecánicas simples y repetitivas a mas no poder y muchos bugs.

    To be honest... 4 years after launch and this game is still full of glitches and crashes very often. The gameplay is repetitive and predictable. The only 2 good things? The story cutscenes and Vito Scalleta... . Other then that, it's not really worth playing.

    Si bien, no es un juego totalmente nefasto, sin duda es el peor de toda la saga. El que yo considero que es el mayor defecto de este juego es el gran relleno que tiene, es decir, lo alargaron mediante misiones aburridas y los mecanismos de territorios, que si bien, al principio parecen buenos y divertidos, al final terminan convirtiéndose repetitivos y tediosos. Algo que caracterizaba aSi bien, no es un juego totalmente nefasto, sin duda es el peor de toda la saga. El que yo considero que es el mayor defecto de este juego es el gran relleno que tiene, es decir, lo alargaron mediante misiones aburridas y los mecanismos de territorios, que si bien, al principio parecen buenos y divertidos, al final terminan convirtiéndose repetitivos y tediosos. Algo que caracterizaba a los dos primeros juegos fue su corta historia, que si bien, era un punto negativo, creo que esto es muchísimo peor. Ahora, si mejoraron algunos aspectos, ya que yo considero que la jugabilidad mejoro un poco sobre los anteriores mafia, sin embargo, no la consideraría buena. La música que contiene el juego es agradable y muy bien inspirada en la época. Vimos un aumento grande de armas a comparación del juego anterior. En conclusión, el juego tenía potencial para ser el mejor de la saga, pero de por si la historia es la mas liviana de los 3, todavía quedo peor con todo el relleno que ya mencioné.     Hum. What a shame on this one. Again game from 20+ years (Mafia Definitive Edition, I & II) are so much more enjoyable. You can really compare the both era of those dev studio. How shameful it is to release this after the two masterpiece. I mean.. for me it’s just not a Mafia. We are waiting for a Mafia III one day :)

    I played Mafia 1 (2002) and it was 10/10 without any doubts. Then I played Mafia 2. 9/10, awesome, especially the story! But after playing Mafia 3... The game is a massive downhill, because Daniel Vávra did not work on this project... It was not created with love like previous 2 mafias... Graphics is blurry even at 4K resolution. I tried to render it at 8K and downscale it to 4K (native)I played Mafia 1 (2002) and it was 10/10 without any doubts. Then I played Mafia 2. 9/10, awesome, especially the story! But after playing Mafia 3... The game is a massive downhill, because Daniel Vávra did not work on this project... It was not created with love like previous 2 mafias... Car physics is far from being realistic. When you jump in the boat, you have rear view mirror in the top of the screen like in car. Really?     A a big let-down since the first two Mafia games. While I loved Mafia I and Mafia II, this game bored me really quick. The story is boring and the gameplay repetitive.

    One of the best openings to a game, but also, one of the worst games of all time. Mafia and Mafia 2 are one of the games I've ever played but Mafia 3... We don't talk about it.

    İlk çıkan Mafia 1 bundan kat ve kat daha iyiydi. Oyun ne grafiğiyle, ne oynanışıyla, ne de başka bir mekaniği ile ortaya bir fark koyuyor. Kısacası bu oyundan veya Hangar13'ten uzak durun. Birde ana karakterimizi mafyadan biri göstermek için oyun başındaki gereksiz peder babasının İtalyan olabileceğini söylüyor :D

    en un principio me parecia regular pero despues de 4 años lo volvi a jugar me parece adictivo la ambientacion una de las mejores bandas sonoras de los videojuegos

    ГГ - крутой чувак, которому всё нипочём. Сюжет никакой. Сглаживание ужасное. Оптимизация такая себе. Атмосферы вообще нет. Анимации резкие и рваные. Повестка на месте. Русской озвучки в игре вообще нет, хотя в предыдущих частях была. Мафию уже можно хоронить.ГГ - крутой чувак, которому всё нипочём. Сюжет никакой. Сглаживание ужасное. Оптимизация такая себе. Атмосферы вообще нет. Анимации резкие и рваные. Повестка на месте. Русской озвучки в игре вообще нет, хотя в предыдущих частях была. Мафию уже можно хоронить.

    Opravdu zatím nejhorší díl série. Mafia 3 je venku od října 2016 a dodnes trpí docela vážným postižením, kterému jsem z počátku nevěřil ale postupem času jsem pochopil. Grafika je dobrá, ovládání vozidel jak v předchozím díle dobré a příběh jakbysmet. Vskutku základ by tady byl.
    Hru bohužel ničí lagy, bugy i pády . ♥♥♥♥♥ jde na první pohled vidět že tady asi málo platili vývojáře, protože    Opravdu zatím nejhorší díl série.     S Mafií jak si pamatujeme to má společný jen název. Kdyby alespoň fungovalo vše jak má. Na to ale 2K očividně ♥♥♥♥ a Hangar13 už zřejmě neexistuje.    … Expand

    Buggy, slow, game breaking glitches, played 80% through the main and additional content but couldn't persevere to the end after my so many glitches and mission halting bugs. Got over it and not even that great a game when it actually did work...

    i am writing this honest review based on playing the game for two days , the game looks nice in matter of cinematic videos , i expect it to be a nice story which i couldn't complete , the graphics are good however lets look to cons .
    1- the Layout of PS4 controls in the game is the worst i ever seen ever , even trying to change it from the game of from PS4 menu you will never reach a    i am writing this honest review based on playing the game for two days , the game looks nice in matter of cinematic videos , i expect it to be a nice story which i couldn't complete , the graphics are good however lets look to cons .

    2- Shooting is extremely awful and doesn't feel real at all and feel like old gta games.
    3- it is very very easy form a professional player to die and die and die from stupid mobs while trying all your efforts to survive a stupid person will shot and kill you and you have to repeat from far beginning , i tried many ways to complete mission but i felt too bored and i quit and deleted the game finally .
    4- the movement of the main character is dull and swing , the driving of cars is too bad and old .

    Please note that i am a professional player and this is one of the rarest games i decided to delete and not to complete .    … Expand

    MAFIA III is the first game of this franchise I have played.
    I was surprised of the horrible game physics when driving a car.
    The missions are repetitive because 2K built an overcrowded RPG.
    Next time: less missions and more thrilling moments. :-)

    This cant even be called a video game, the PC build is a massively consolized and poor console port, aside from having massive performance issues, being a blurry mess and locked to "SOLID 30 FPS" as the devs said, the game is plagued by crashes and by the fact that it even exists, a pathetic attempt at creating a video game.

    This is what happens when you give a good game series to a different developer who has no idea on how to make proper video games. I had so high hopes for this game, but I was let down once again by the gaming industry.

    This game is so awful. When I decided to play on PC, it was because I have a choice. I could choose my hardware, my software, my resolution, my framerate, and my graphics, but what Hangar 13 did is unacceptable. They locked the game to 30FPS, and their reason for that is: "The team has been hard at work ensuring that Mafia III’s performance is consistent across all platforms, and right now the game runs at a solid 30 frames-per-second."

    That's the most **** I have ever heard in one sentence. Mafia III for PC is a console port. The game has so many problems when it comes to reflections, lighting, and no SLI support. The antialiasing just blurs the game to make the edges look better, the PC controls are horrendous, and the game is being upscaled from 720p. It's so damn hard to focus on the story aspect when the screen is tearing, the graphics are glitching out, things pop in at ridiculous distance, but wait, they are releasing a patch to make the game run over 60FPS, and fix the issues. Too late, you already screwed up the game's launch, and what you have done will not be forgotten. They did release the patch to unlock the framerate, but since they never optimized the game good, it still runs like **** This was my birthday present, and it's the worst **** birthday present I have ever gotten. Hangar 13 didn't deliver on their promise on putting time, and effort into their PC version. You had 5 **** years to sort all this **** out, but you didn't. Nice job Hangar 13, you made a sequel to Mafia II worse.

Otherwise, story seems really contrived and nothing like the masterpieces of Mafia and Mafia 2. Race politics are a huge part of the story and it got tiring after a while to be constantly negged within the game aboutThe only thing that this game has going for it is its beautiful graphics, especially the character models. It's one long grind. The only interesting mission is in the very beginning. Where's all that great story telling the first Mafia had? The gameplay is awful. Enemies are beyond stupid.     It's just boring. I've played it for one day, and on the second one I just doesn't feel I want to play it. And I'm used to kinda boring games, simulators, engineering. This is obviously not this kind of boring, it's just like an empty husk of a game. It have some generic plot about revenge, it have some generic repetitive gameplay, generic open world city, when you often feel like you'veIt's just boring. I've played it for one day, and on the second one I just doesn't feel I want to play it. And I'm used to kinda boring games, simulators, engineering. This is obviously not this kind of boring, it's just like an empty husk of a game. It have some generic plot about revenge, it have some generic repetitive gameplay, generic open world city, when you often feel like you've been here before when you haven't, it's just that all places looks the same. Graphics is ok, but feels unpolished too, and then again, new Mafia: Definitive looks way better. This game has literally nothing good about it. Just usual console casual open-world shooter, like some a bit richer clone of minecraft, of which there are plenty.

Imagine the worst kind of optional side content imaginable from any of Ubisofts games, and then turning that into a mandatory experience... well then you have Mafia 3. The setting of the game, the fictional city of New Bordeaux (New Orleans), is done very well, with a lot of details, big map andMafia III is the third installment in the cult action-adventure series Mafia. Unlike the previous two installments, Mafia III was fully developed by the 2K games and their American studio Hangar 13. And that proved to be fatal. But lets start with the positives. The setting of the game, the fictional city of New Bordeaux (New Orleans), is done very well, with a lot of details, big map and a lot of different buildings, shops, factories. You can clearly see that the developers put a lot of work into that. The soundtrack is amazing, you cannot really go wrong with 1960's music. The collectibles, which are usually just a boring grind are actually very interesting in this game, although the idea is actually copied from Mafia II. The old 1960's Playboy magazines and Vargas pin-ups are going to make you miss the times when natural beauty of a woman was admired and preferred. The number of different cars is also very good and it is a pleasure to drive these old American beauties. But the actual models are pretty low quality (In many cases the quality is visibly lower that in the 6 year older Mafia II, which is really baffling). Which brings me to the negatives, of which there are many. The most apparent is the absolute lack of mission diversity. Vast portion of this game you will spend repetitively killing hundreds of Italian mobsters in all the different districts of the city. These repetitive grinds are separated by short doses of the actual story, which is full of unrealistic and cliche action movie moments. The enemy AI is not very good, the enemies are very predictable and repetitive. The game is not really challenging even on the highest level of difficulty. The save system is one of the worst I have ever seen. It is just completely wrong. The game also suffer from a number of bugs and crashes that were never really fixed. The microtransactions are present in Mafia III in the mild form of a weapons pack DLC. But all these indisputable mistakes pale in comparison with the last one. I wrote that the missions lack in diversity. Well, who absolutely does not lack in diversity is the main protagonist and all the other characters in this game. Mafia III is filled to the brim with the worst and most disgusting SJW propaganda you can imagine. All you need to really know is written on the first screen as soon as you start a new game. This game twists American history, rapes our heritage, it praises thugs and criminals and vilifies normal decent people. and will leave you with a sour taste in your mouth. In my eyes this brings Mafia III down so much that this otherwise average game is now among the worst of the worst.

    If this was just another action adventure game, it would be just a forgettable mistake, but this game bears the name Mafia, and it dishonors and shames this great series. As a big fan of the series I wish this game was never made. Final Verdict: 10 %    … Expand

При моём среднем пк, который вытягивает новые игры в среднем на высоких ( не ультра ) настройках, я играю на низких настройках графики, с постоянными просадками и микрофоизамиВ целом игра неплохая.     The worst thing in this game is repeating the same missions all the time. Plus the game is glitched. Disappearing textures are not the worst thing here. Only thing that saves this game from 0 grade for me is driving patttern and final boss missions.

    The gameplay was copied from the game Godfather 2, and they did even worse compared to the aforementioned game.

    The main character is boring and bland, he lacks personality and the npcs are not better, they behave like dumb robots. This game is also poorly optimized for PC, The driving mechanics are good but they are very unrealistic because when you hit other vehicles they act like a ramp instead of making your car bump.

    - Painful AI, some enemies do not react to your presence.

    Mafia III is like a bad mix of Ubisoft grind and GTA V game mechanics. Mafia I was better in almost every way. It even makes Mafia II look good.

In this game, Lincoln Clay in the role of Rambo brings everyone. this is not realistic. I will play Mafia 2 with great pleasure. Part 3 completely disappointed me.

    After more than a year they still haven't fixed the performance issues this port has. That would be acceptable if the game looked half decent graphics wise. The grapics looks low res and upscalled even at max settings.
    Gameplay and story are pretty repetitive.
    Mafia 1 was the best and 2 wasn't bad at all either but this one is just another money grab attempt from a AAA game publisher.

    This game is the ugly child of Mafia II and Watch Dogs 1. Game has a feeling of a Watch Dogs mod for Mafia II, which performs so much worse in every possible way. Your best alternative would be Mafia II, if you like nostalgia = definitely Mafia 1. Even The Godfather 1 is far better than this garbage. DO NOT BUY.

The plot started off eerily similar to GTAV and you spend the rest of the game repeatedly shooting a warehouse of people over and over until you beat the game. Pretty boring, couldn't even finish the game.

    Don't even bother buying it. The game takes many hours of your life to finish it, while the plot could be few hours long, but the repeatable gameplay makes it last much longer. If this wasn't enough, this game has a ton of technical issues and has cut out the best mechanics of it's predecessors.

    So I thought it was only fair that now we have had 2 patches to fix this mess I should write another reviews.. So here goes.

    Textures - 1/10, the worst textures I have ever seen for a AAA title, mafia 2 looks a million times better. Performance 1/10- Using 2 x 980ti and a 5960x the fps is just plain awful, the game optimization is the worst I have ever seen on a "AAA" title.     Computer AI 1/10- I wouldn't know, I bought a game to play in 2016, I refuse to play a game that looks and plays that poorly.

    Overall - 1/10. This is the worst game I have played on PC in the 25 years I have been gaming on PC. The graphics are 1990s at best, the game has clearly been rushed throughout and there is nothing good to even say about it. it is safe to say Hanger 13 have well and truly ruined their reputation with their first effort of a game, maybe they should have stuck to a game that is on their level like pong maybe?

    After so many years of waiting it's as though they have applied a Watch Dogs feel to the game. The graphics are nice in places but even now the Illusion engine from Mafia 2 is better. It has gone incredibly towards the arcade side, and not in a good way. Repetative gameplay that for me at least does not immerse me in the game, and I'm incredibly disappointed this was the end product.     very bad game, by bad company! the developers did not care about consumers, they thought only of the benefit. monotonous game primetivnym geypleem, terrible graphics, lock in the physics of cars 30fps.uzhasneyshaya many bugs, etc. Hoping hangar13 company ruined !!!!

    I had waited this game for 6 years. This is totally dishonor to previous Mafia series... And no clear explanation on Vito & Joe. 2K deceived Mafia fans with this horrible game. Shame on you 2K Games. You ruined it this time.

    Buena historia y cinemáticas impresionantes, todo lo demás lamentable.
    Misiones repetitivas, mala optimización, poco atención en los detalles y un sin fin de cosas más que hacen a este juego una gran decepción.

    Useless game. Full of bugs and glitches, crashes every 20-30 minutes. The only good thing is the storyline, very good storyline. For that reason i give it a rating of 3.

    Mafia III isn’t necessarily a bad game, but it is definitely not a true heir to the Mafia series. The story is rich and the gameplay is satisfying (although it’s nothing special), but having played the previous games in the series (especially the first one), I never felt like I was playing a Mafia game.
