    We're at a point where EA doesn't even care to improve and fix the balancing of the online modes anymore because:
    1. Its broken by design to anger you when you inevitably lose most games and thus push you into buying more fking virtual cards until they're nerfed and you have to buy more and more and more and more

    While I wish more was added as well as replacing the Frostbite Engine with a better engine, Madden NFL 24 plays up to it's strength with the new improvements that can help the series see a new long term plan ahead.

    And here we go again. Madden 15 part 9. Once again people love the early access version and think it's good until EA patches it right back into Madden 15. At no point will you actually have control of the game. EA will again decide who wins.

    You never will. Do this... Go into MUT H2H and set it to friends only. You will see that you AND your friends all win between 45 and 63 winning percentage. By the way, you can check this on any system and any year of ultimate team. That's to encourage you to buy those packs then you wonder why all your reliable players begin to play like garbage as the new card you just upgraded to is absolutely on fire. After a month the new players become trash. Time to upgrade again. In fact you spend money and get cards, do quicksells for training which is a currency that you can't buy in cash but obviously you spent money in some way to get those training points. Also the same with certain holiday promotions. To make one player you have to buy his whole collection of cards. It all adds up but in EAs bank account. The deluxe edition gives you some junk for the ultimate team mode, each loading screen tries to beckon you to ultimate team. Be prepared for glitches, the game will be controlled by pre-programmed animations that take the control away from you so that EA can make sure that everyone has nearly the same record. AGAIN, that ensures that you "believe" that buying a few more players will have you optimistic that you will begin to dominate, but you won't. As an example, you may have Deion Sanders as your #1 cornerback then you buy Sauce Gardner. All of a sudden Deion starts to under perform, time to buy a new #1 corner. This happens all over your roster until the next Madden is released then when it is time for the new Madden to come out EA makes everything essentially free on this one. That serves to give everyone the GOD squad. Everyone has the exact same team which takes the fun out of the game and makes you want to start over on the next edition...     Another season, another bad game. It's amazing how every year they fail to prove why they deserve the exclusive license and still get it.
    When your physics system, lighting system, match presentation, franchise depth is worse than a mid-2000s game, with less features, you know something is wrong.
    I do not even mention the scripts.

    Same **** new year. Don’t buy. I spent $16 on EA Pro to try this game. The 10 hour trial version wouldn’t download and was stuck in some “preparing” loop on EA app PC. So I pay for the EA Play Pro and what do you know, it magically starts downloading. The game is no different than any of the crap I’ve played over the last however many years. Future me will need to go back to 2005 and let myself know to appreciate it.     This crap needs to stop. EA has no interest in making a quality sim football product, it's quite obvious at this point. The game engine is so horribly dated and needs to be thrown away into the trash. Why is Madden not using Unreal? EA and the NFL should be ashamed of themselves. This is such a poor reflection on the NFL in general and they should be embarrassed by this product.

    Madden 24 is definitely better than most other maddens over the past decade. However, there are some big problems on pc with the graphics which cause the game to slow down, especially when not playing on "Borderless Window," and even when you do, it still causes the online play to have A LOT of input delay, especially on cross play

    I rate this game a 3.7/10

    Aside from **** bugs like the UI menu and the gameplay slowness at weird moments. I am sick and tired of seeing the CPU play better because the score gets lopsided... If I play well why are we hounded for it. All the sudden the CPU makes every pass and every play? They cannot code plain and simple. Let alone they cannot make a game that feels natural no matter what high end tech they wantAside from **** bugs like the UI menu and the gameplay slowness at weird moments.     It's like ordering a brand new premium smart phone with a 4K camera, and receiving a f****** brick in the package.
    How they are able to advertise something and not put it in the game at all is beyond me. Wouldn't be surprised if this garbage goes down as the worst Madden in history.    I wanted to write a solid paragraph about this version of Madden, but honestly it's not worth my time.

    Downloaded the game for a trip I was taking . Tried to play superstar mode just to find out you need internet connection , just wow . So I optioned out to play franchise mode and change the role to player . Took 20 mins to create a player because of the god awful menu lag . Now that I’ve finally finished that process the music that’s I’ve been listening to has driven me crazy which tookDownloaded the game for a trip I was taking .     This game is simply unplayable. even after turning graphical setting down (which i shouldn't have to do for a game like this) the game is a stuttering mess. after each play the game feels like its going to crash. Pass plays have the frames dropping to 0. This is by far the biggest disappointment in gaming this year. give up the license, EA. You are ruining the brand further and further. Pathetic.

    Another year of "going in the right direction." Firstly, this game does not feel optimized whatsoever on PC. It is extremely slow. I have a high end computer, and there is absolutely no excuse for this game to run so poorly. Especially if I am playing an offline franchise. I have also ran into a high number of glitches and bugs. Since when did it become okay to accept that video games can be released and purchased while they have so many issues from Day 1? EA relies on updates to "fix" the game when the game should be fully playable from the start. No modern positional terminology! It's 2023. I have to go through every roster after each season to make sure that a 3-4 team did not sign someone like Nick Bosa because he'll end up playing as an interior linemen, and to make sure that an edge who played in a 3-4 did not sign with a 4-3 team and end up playing as a pass coverage linebacker. Same goes for the draft. Now imagine having to do this for each team while the game runs so slow. It can take at least an hour just to make sure teams have the right players in the proper positions. I am someone with a family, and in my spare time I would love to play a football game where I do not have to waste my time making this game somewhat realistic. This is supposed to be a SIMULATION game, but it is so far from that. This game needs competition. Period. They have gotten too comfortable. EA cannot continue to hold onto the simulation copyright. Madden has been an arcade style football game since 2012. Another year, another disappointment, and we are only a couple weeks in. Brace yourselves for another below average year because this is the only product on the market.… Expand

Still a lot to be done to these modes before they can be compared to Franchise Modes like NBA 2K and MLB the Show.

    - Ultimate Team is still shoved in your face at every opportunity. Always gonna deduct points for that.

    - Some nitpicks: Commentary gets turned off after two games. So many repeated lines make it unbearable. Lastly, the menus are extremely clunky and unresponsive. I was frustrated with the game before I even chose a team.

    Overall, the PC version of this game feels like a massive downgrade in quality compared to the last-gen version with Madden 23. The entire game is clunky and poorly optimized regardless of your PC specs. From an overall gameplay standpoint, I found it very difficult to enjoy a second of this one and I'm glad I only got it through EA Play, because a $70 price tag for this is borderline criminal.    … Expand

    Madden 24’s year-on-year revisions are a mixed bag. It still feels like a somewhat directionless team just kind of going through the motions in the mushy middle of the NFL pecking order.

    After seeing so much change in Franchise Mode from Madden NFL 22 to 23, expectations were high for Madden NFL 24. While some things are what fans wanted from the Madden franchise in 24, it seems like time was truly against the game as glitches are more rampant than last year and things simply seem half finished. While we assume that things will get fixed as the year goes by, it might be time for Madden to look at trying to complete a game before putting out another one.
