    Utter garbage. Ea just keeps trying to find way to implement their new loot box mechanics called consumer money extraction mechanics. Dont buy this crap. Dont be part of the problem.

    Terrible. Literally the same recycled garbage as last year. They use terrible microtransactions and the same bad stuff is in the game.

    It's sad EA figured out they can maximize their profits by putting little resources into the game, and making millions of $$$.

    Madden 20: Again the same presentation, no important new features for CFM, Commentary remains the same and gets annoying, No more referee on the field, OB1 is a joke and poorly executed, Replays are again awful, old gameplay bugs still not fixed etc etc.    It's sad EA figured out they can maximize their profits by putting little resources into the game, and making millions of $$$.

    The worst thing about this review is you can't give Madden 20 lower than a 0. EA releases the same game year after year with a new cover on it. Stop buying this crap.

    The game play and AI in this game is TRASH. The whole animation driven game play is broken, there is better physics and AI in Madden 08 on PC. Do yourself a favor, look up the footballidiot mods w/ 2019-2020 rosters for madden 08 PC and play that instead. WOW 1 year and they added pro bowl and special player attributes. It is laughable really. MUT is all this company cares about now. MUTThe game play and AI in this game is TRASH.     Can't even change the **** video settings. This might be the laziest PC port I've ever seen. Not even playable if I can't even change the **** settings.

    So bad in so many ways. From the unsackable QB glitch, to un-branchable animations leading to players who can't be tackled and AI in Zone Defense that is so dumb and easily exploitable, I had to give this game a zero. At first, I was excited when Madden came back to pc for the first time since '08, but now I'm just mad i spent 60 bucks and gave up like 70 GBs of SSD space. Also, I getSo bad in so many ways. From the unsackable QB glitch, to un-branchable animations leading to players who can't be tackled and AI in Zone Defense that is so dumb and easily exploitable, I had to give this game a zero. Also, I get constant stuttering during gameplay unless I go into task manager and set the Madden20.exe process to Realtime. I have 2 GTX970s in SLI and a i5-4670k with the game installed on a Samsung 860 EVO SSD, so it should perform well. Absolutely unacceptable for AAA title from a giant publisher.     Really, Why even try anymore. Same game no improvements. Graphic look good, but game play is total garbage. This isn't NFL football. Clearly, they make this game just for MUT.

    EA needs to release all their sports games on PC don't know why they stop back in the day .last time I played Madden on PC was 09 this game has some flaws but still excellent

    This is the best new gen madden so far however that is not very hard to achieve first I will go list out the positives and negatives.

    Positives +Superstar X factors make playing different teams feel different and allows players like Brady with poor physical abilities really feel elite. + Franchise player progression is much more fine tuned and development traits matter for low    This is the best new gen madden so far however that is not very hard to achieve first I will go list out the positives and negatives.

    Positives
    +Superstar X factors make playing different teams feel different and allows players like Brady with poor physical abilities really feel elite.
    + Franchise player progression is much more fine tuned and development traits matter for low overalls (a player can sit on the bench and get better and wont regress so you don't need to start higher dev players right away)
    +Face of the franchise is better than long-shot (needs a lot of work and is still shallow however)
    +Scenarios give a reason to keep veterans in franchise for mentoring purposes ( This with progression allows you to draft for the future instead of just getting day one starters)
    +Bigger differences in player ratings (you will now have starters with ovr in the 50s, drafting a overall in the 60s is a decent pick)

    Negatives
    - AI is poor (in goal line situations will play one on one coverage with a small db against your star rezone threat receiver)
    - Presentation is still awful (It was better back when they didn't have a halftime show, play 2k5 and watch their halftime show it boggles my mind how EA dosn't do better)
    - Sliders need adjusting (don't understand how community sliders come out a week after the game and play leaps and bounds over the default exp)
    - Face of the franchiser face generator is mind bogging only in face of the franchise)
    -cpu draft logic is better but still bad will never see someone trade-up to draft a qb will see early first round qbs drop into the late first and sometimes even 2nd round)
    -Too many fumble
    -Bad run logic (cpu running backs cut in terrible places)
    -Way to buggy (I have had WR routs run backwards behind the line of scrimage, ai qb will often run backwards for 20+ yard sacks,and numerous others)

    There are some other things but I will wrap it up for now, I don't play ultimate team however I imagine it is just a micro transaction grind-fest like always. My honest recommendation would be to wait until later in the year where EA updates the game and gets rid of some of these bugs if you want to get it at all. Cant believe they released it in this state. All in all it is a decent football game that is held back by being way too shallow. Keeps introducing new things like face of the franchise however are not developed enough to make a staple mode. EA madden is like drafting a QB the next draft class always looks stacked and way better but always ends up as mediocre as the current year.    … Expand

    I purchased 2020 (cheap on Amazon - like $7 or something) because I haven't played a Madden game in YEARS and wanted a PC football game.

    It was everything the reviews said it was. Massively poor AI, warping, clipping, etc. I had times where the ball actually crossed the end zone or players got 2 feet in bounds but the game said I didn't (even though the replay showed I clearly did) and    I purchased 2020 (cheap on Amazon - like $7 or something) because I haven't played a Madden game in YEARS and wanted a PC football game.

    It was everything the reviews said it was. Massively poor AI, warping, clipping, etc. I had times where the ball actually crossed the end zone or players got 2 feet in bounds but the game said I didn't (even though the replay showed I clearly did) and I couldn't challenge them. The final uninstall straws happened on a 4th quarter, two minute drive. On 3rd down my QB - the top rated in the league - threw to an open WR and the game threw the ball - no kidding - 15 yards behind him with no rush pressure. I thought I had pressed the wrong button until I realized he was the only WR on that side of the field. Then on 4th down he threw to the middle of the field and the ball was tipped up...and warped 25 yards down the field into the arms of the Free Safety waiting at the goal line. Literally warped the ball down the field. I could have quit out and replayed the game but those two plays were the proverbial straws that broke the camel's back. I uninstalled and probably will never play a Madden product again because those types of issues are inexcusable. It's not football, that's for sure.    … Expand

    I can't, in good conscious, give this game (series) anything over '0' until either they change developers ( Tiburon ) or they start over from scratch (programming). I don't understand the disconnect EA/Tiburon has with their fan-base and how they are so incompetent in trying to improve their.     I got the game basically for free (I have Origin Plus) and i still felt ripped off. To be fair, i don't play MUT so I can't tell you if that part of the game is any better, but the franchise and QB1 modes are **** terrible. Nothing about QB1 makes any sense or has any depth, and the franchise mode's only 'new feature' is the scenario generator that sucked so bad it had to be disabled by patch.

    Happy they brought madden back to pc. but the quality of the game is barely increasing. Always seems like mut is their main focus. :/

    Just played the Origin access trial, visually it looks nice but gameplay wise is a different story, it's somewhat fun to play the challenges in MUT but outside that it's where the flaws starts to show. I basically called no-RB shotgun calls 100% of the time regardless of what defense looked like and when throwing the ball was a no-go, i basically bolted usually gaining 30-40 yards. This is ridiculous, and I thought auto-intercepting CB/SS's of Madden 18 was bad.… Expand

    So let me get this straight, you make hundreds of millions a year and you are telling me you dont have the ability to actually change the game? You released the same game 3 years in a row with a different roster. My god you could create the new game you do every year in a week!

    Madden NFL 20 is a really good game because of amazing graphics, realistic pressure on the line of scrimmage, authentic football player abilities and a lot of customizing if you are only playing a game against CPU with your preferred teams. The biggest weakness is the boring face of the franchise an MUT scrap.

    Madden NFL 20 is not a promised breakthrough, just a good enough game with some novel ideas, dumb defensive AI and the abysmally awful Face of the Franchise.

    Thanks to the MUT and Franchise gamemodes, the game offers a great density and an immersive experience, with a solid technical aspect. Unfortunately, the story mode, this year, isn't better than the Longshot mode that we saw on last year's edition.

    I like aspects of Madden 20 like the addictiveness and slightly easier progression of Ultimate Team, the way players feel, and the new abilities. But too much remains stagnant and unchanged. It’s like expecting a few free agents to change the course of an entire organization when there are key areas the franchise needs to have addressed yesterday. Instead, its roster has gotten old fast and the problems are mounting.
