Nov 18, 2019This game has a one of the best post-apocalyptic world in history of gaming. The atmosphere is outstanding :) great and fun to play game with lot of thing to do on the map.

Feb 19, 2022The most underrated game of 2015, I've played it for 40Hrs. The 40hrs full of action madness with post-apocalypse immersion makes this game feels like devs really love their jobs

Aug 25, 2023Nearly a masterpiece. It is intentionally a mashup of aesthetics of all the mad max movies. If you are in to that, The atmosphere and aesthetic is impeccable. The story is enthralling, though I didn't like how it ended. The gameplay gets a little repetitive, but you don't have to unlock everything. Feel free to move on more quickly and just bask in the glorious art and dialogue.

Jul 7, 2020Both the gameplay and the story are an emotional rollercoasters. When it comes to the gameplay the very first few hours are a chore but after that it becomes an amazing experience. The story is full of emotions and just like in the movies Max is haunted by his past and present decisions.

And that's just a short review, not all parts of the game, and it's just a summary.
Extremely stunning gameplay with attractive graphics. Good story and acceptable characterization.
These are the elements of mad max victory -

Aug 19, 2023One of the best open-world post-apocalyptic games ever created. I just can't get enough of it, really could have used some DLC tho. Extremely underrated and really fun to play. You can get lost in it for hours.

Mar 22, 2021The most underrated game of the year. The graphics are good, the story is entertaining, and the open world is very true to the story. And the perfect duration. A great game

Feb 26, 2022The game is a combination of many generations of games. It has Batman Arkham like freestyle refreshing combat, Far Cry like grinding and outpost capture which is rewarding, explosions and destruction like the Just Cause games. The game is mostly fighting bad guys and liberating outposts. You collect scrap which is the in-game currency to unlock car parts and upgrades for Max.

Dec 2, 2017Underrated classic. A superior "Assassins creed"/"Far Cry"/"Watchdogs" style game but with more truly memorable characters, humour, and just plain fun than any of those games. Pick it up in a sale and you won't be disappointed.

Sep 9, 2015The game is highly formulaic, and hence repetitive, and yet it still manages to be undeniably fun thanks to its immersive sights and sounds and bloody combat. However, it's one of those games that you play once and then uninstall. I personally don't think such games are worth full price, not when the content is so repetitive, so I'd wait for a sale.

Nov 18, 2016Five Word Review: Much underrated open-world action.
Favorite Thing: Love the vehicle gameplay, they did such a good job of it.
Least Favorite Thing: The open-world activities can get repetitive fast, best to ignore them as much as possible.
Playtime: ~ 27h
Enjoyment: 8/10
Recommendation: Definitely, don't listen to those foolish reviewers. -

Sep 2, 2015There are a few bugs and there is a repetitive element to it, but Mad Max is just pure gut-busting, chaos with that cheeky survival craft element and the hilarious damage in homage to Just Cause. Interactive, adrenaline fuelled, beautiful.

Sep 8, 2015Started playing this game yesterday and couldn't put it down 6 hours later. All of the available upgrades keep both hand to hand and car combat interesting. The wasteland is beautiful to drive around and seeing an approaching storm is exhilarating. Don't listen to the negatives reviews and give this one a go!

Feb 13, 2016Gameplay is great, fist fighting is fun, car fighting is hard if you don't scavenge for scrap. It tries to extend the game time with the need of scavenging. After a few hours of i got tired and had to cheat some scrap to get rid of boredom.
For 10-11 EURO it is a must buy.

Jan 19, 2016Is it a bad game? Absolutely not. On the contrary, Ubisoft's open-world template is perfect for churning out market-friendly games that tick all the boxes of "What People Want." Or, perhaps, "What You Want."...And honestly, Mad Max's formula is still to some extent "What I Want." Just not as much as a few years ago.
-
CD-ActionNov 14, 2015Mad Max is this year’s equivalent of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor – a really decent open world game that will not disappoint the fans of the franchise and will win over some undecided gamers, but will not be inducted into the industry’s hall of fame alongside Skyrim, GTA, Black Flag or The Witcher 3. Oct 31, 2015Mad Max is a missed opportunity. The exceptional depiction of the Wasteland, the chaotic nature of the post-apocalyptic society, the excellent technical qualities and thrilling vehicle fights are held back by the mundane melee combat mechanics, the loose story, the repetitive nature of secondary objectives and the overall low-level challenge.
