Oct 3, 2015Despite the worst Australian accents in gaming and the baffling use of American English, this game does good justice to the iconic Australian films. Way more fun than critics would have you believe and certainly a lot of bang for your buck.

Apr 19, 2017Pro: Visual and atmosphere you feel just like in the movie (or the Comics ;)
The Driving and fighting mechanics also good.
Contra: The gameplay is very repetitve - after 4-6 hours all elements are included, after 10 hours it becomes a chore to finish the game (it took me ~25 hours). -

Jul 12, 2017Mad Max is all about insane characters, furious car chases and a chaotic post-apocalyptic world that all promise something memorable. Clearly it failed to deliver.

Jan 8, 2017A decent main story with solid gameplay and great optimisation, but it falls prey to the whole 'ticking off a checklist' feel when it comes to a lot of the side content. Sure, this adds more hours to the experience, but there are more interesting ways to fill up a game than what Mad Max offers.

Sep 10, 2015To make it short, good looking, fun to play the first 30 hours and after that you realize that you're doing the same things over and over. There are good customizations too and honestly, the game worth the try. But to give you a good example, i've finished 55% of the global progression in about 65 hours, too damn long when you want to do everything on the map...

Oct 20, 2015The Engine is crappy (Assassins Creed engine), same goes for the collectibles - Assassins Creed style, like 1000 to collect for better Gear/Stuff. Story is way too short for that Game, also this Game got only 2 patches and now it doesn't gets updated anymore- but it definitely needs some. Not worth the money, better go get it for free in the Web....

Mar 3, 2020Pretty good open-world game with the thematic of the classic movie saga, it's pretty fun, the driving is cool but it gets sorta repetitive.

Feb 12, 2020It was fine and its an eye candy I love how it looks but the game on its own has not much to give. Story is weak and combat as well and side activities suck. Its really all about the cars, desert, and locations which are perfectly done.

Jan 19, 2016Is it a bad game? Absolutely not. On the contrary, Ubisoft's open-world template is perfect for churning out market-friendly games that tick all the boxes of "What People Want." Or, perhaps, "What You Want."...And honestly, Mad Max's formula is still to some extent "What I Want." Just not as much as a few years ago.

CD-ActionNov 14, 2015Mad Max is this year’s equivalent of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor – a really decent open world game that will not disappoint the fans of the franchise and will win over some undecided gamers, but will not be inducted into the industry’s hall of fame alongside Skyrim, GTA, Black Flag or The Witcher 3. Oct 31, 2015Mad Max is a missed opportunity. The exceptional depiction of the Wasteland, the chaotic nature of the post-apocalyptic society, the excellent technical qualities and thrilling vehicle fights are held back by the mundane melee combat mechanics, the loose story, the repetitive nature of secondary objectives and the overall low-level challenge.
