Apr 14, 2025Lushfoil Photography Sim succeeds in its approachability and how it garners intrigue. It gracefully connects the world of photography and creative curiosity, naturally on display in gaming.

Apr 14, 2025Lushfoil Photography Sim is the game that photo mode aficionados have been waiting for, with relaxing nature vibes and gorgeous locales.

Apr 14, 2025Lushfoil Photography Sim is worth playing, especially for those who want to dabble in digital photography. The techniques used in the game mimic those in real life, the maps are close to accurate, and the added little challenges test your creative eye. The game is like visiting someone’s memory as you’re bound to a specific area, but the maps are huge and very detailed. While it does feel weird and somewhat scary being the only person wandering around popular tourist spots, exploring the wildlife and these unique places all by yourself turns them into a delightful nature/travel photography playground.

Apr 14, 2025Lushfoil Photography Sim is a relaxing video game, crafted with love and care, capable of evoking memories or introducing players to incredible new places. Matt Newell has managed to make the act of taking photographs playful as well, thanks to some clever ideas and a sort of "treasure hunt" like searching for specific shots and artifacts within the virtual world he created. It’s certainly an original and one-of-a-kind experience, one that evocatively shifts between a walking simulator and an intriguing virtual photography course.

May 8, 2025Lushfoil Photography Sim is a very interesting photo-camping simulator. Well done in the mechanics related to the reflex parameters, as in the creation of the game maps.
-
Apr 28, 2025Its relaxing environments, immersive sound design, and detailed photography tools make it an ideal escape for fans of landscape photography, although the static nature of the scenery and inconsistent graphics might limit its appeal to a niche audience.

Apr 30, 2025I came into Lushfoil Photography Sim expecting to love it, and maybe that was a mistake. I do like it. I plan on returning to it for little escapes sometimes (emphasis on little). There is just something I love about taking a view that countless others have seen and putting your own twist on it; as it turns out, that feeling can also exist thanks to video games. Unfortunately, the camera controls never became intuitive, and accessibility around motion sickness is lacking. Lushfoil Photography Sim has a solid base, but I could never recommend it to someone without also pointing out the heavy negatives.

Apr 14, 2025I also don’t want it to sound like that bit of collectible busywork spoils what is ultimately a very good mix of satisfying snapping and eyes-agog wandering. You can always just capture the requisite frames while you’re passing by, looking for your own shots, and - truth be told - the striking vistas you’ll win access to are very much worth a spot of picture-matching. Come for the lessons, stay for the landscapes.
