    Such a wonderful game about loss and the stages of grief. This game has some of the most beautiful artwork I've ever seen and I love it to bits. Definitely my new favourite game. 10/10

    It is absolutely, unmistakably, undeniably clear that this was written by Terry Pratchett's daughter, and that she inherited something from him. I couldn't give a better review then that.

    Even if I encountered a single bug that forced me to restart a chapter the game was enjoyable from start to finish, the story is doom and gloom with a bit of hope in the end and I really enjoyed crying to it.

    Cuento orientado a todo tipo de público pero en especial a los más pequeños para ayudarles a gestionar esos sentimientos que nos asedian cuando perdemos a un ser querido.

    Es pobre jugablemente, mucho, más es una historia bonita que merece ser contada y disfrutada.

    A beautifully crafted adventure game that deserves to be scored much higher but is unfortunately weighed down by its extremely low difficulty and the questionable inclusion of heavy loss themes in the story.

    In Lost Words, you (literally) write the story as you venture through a fantasy world in the eyes of a young girl.     In Lost Words, you (literally) write the story as you venture through a fantasy world in the eyes of a young girl. The gameplay is hard to describe and is best experienced first-hand, but it is designed in a similar light to a game like Trine. The story contains elements of grief and heartbreak, which is something to keep in mind in case you are sensitive to those topics and find them hard to digest. Although this game is incredibly easy and not very long, it is still a fairly unique experience.    … Expand

The gameplay is simple but the story is something that will stick around with you.     Lost Words is a game about words and stories created by Rhianna Pratchett. Key to success is based on strong storytelling, compelling characters and easy-going gameplay without any too difficult puzzles and riddles to solve. Get yourself ready to be sad.

    Are words magical? In a way, certainly. They can capture moments in time, or give birth to entire fantastical worlds. Lost Words: Beyond the Page is able to capture this sensation through skillful writing, lovely artwork, and a powerful sense of creativity. It is an affecting exploration of a child trying to create while in the midst of trauma.

    And while being a child, or especially inclined to children’s fiction, might be required to fully appreciate its wide-eyed story, its beautiful design and fine animation can be admired by all ages.
