Pelit (Finland)Jan 12, 2011Indiana Jones is one of the greatest adventure game heroes of all time. It's a shame, that the official games have degenerated in to platformes. This adventure is so close to the Indy's heritage, that you can almost taste it.

Jan 12, 2011Lost Horizon could be one of the games that could stand the test of time and become a classic. However, only time will tell.
-
Jan 12, 2011A classic adventure game masterpiece with great puzzles that never leaves the player alone or clueless what to do next. If you like the classic adventure games, go and buy it.
-
Jan 12, 2011It's been a long time since I've had to really think my way through a game and for fans of the genre - or anyone looking for something new - Lost Horizon makes for a solid choice.
-
Jan 12, 2011If you, like us, have a deep nostalgic passion for adventure games, you will adore Lost Horizon. It knows exactly what it is and what it's meant to do, and while there are few surprises, it's a terrific ride.
-
Jan 12, 2011It's been a long time, but this one's a really good point and click adventure. Fans of the genre shouldn't miss it.
-
Jan 12, 2011A great adventure game in the style of the Indiana-Jones-action-movies. The story about nazis searching for the secret kingdom of shambala and it's huge powers is thrilling and directed with lots of great cutscenes and detailed graphics. The game contains lot's of dialogues, some of them are very long though. The Puzzles are mostly fair but to easy to solve for genre veterans. If you liked the Secret Files-series, you'll have to play Lost Horizon!
-
Jan 12, 2011Lost Horizon has proved to be a very solid and entertaining adventure game. An adventure recommended for novices and experts, which will transport the player to distant and fascinated locations in the company of a sympathetic hero and original characters, highly stylized. Just like the good old days.
-
CD-ActionJul 1, 2011A caption on the box for Polish edition of Lost Horizon promises a 'traditional adventure game with a cinematic feel' – and this slogan is very accurate. For the fans of Indy-like adventures Lost Horizon is a must-have. [June 2011, p.76]
-
Jan 12, 2011Overall, I found Lost Horizon to be a pleasant experience. The game engine works well, the sights and sounds are fun to watch and listen to, and the dialogue is well-written and entertaining -- and while I found the puzzles in the game to be a little easy (Lost Horizon is one of the rare adventures where I never had to consult a walkthrough), that might or might not be a detraction depending on what you're looking for.
-
Jan 12, 2011Lost Horizon reminds gamers that the adventure genre is still very much alive, can still be entertaining, have a gripping storyline, doesn't coddle gamers by having challenging puzzles that will have you saying "How did I not see that!" after finally figuring each one out, and that not all great adventurers need a fedora.
-
Jan 12, 2011Lost Horizon is a classic point'n'click game. An interesting game, with great visuals.
-
Jan 12, 2011Lost Horizon is the final stage in the development of adventure games; it's not an original game but it gives a realistic sense of wonder, recalling Indiana Jones and his adventures.
-
Jan 12, 2011Despite the easiness of the gameplay, an interesting and intense screenplay makes Lost Horizon an exiciting and evocative journey around the world.
-
Mar 29, 2011Lost Horizon is like a good summer blockbuster. Analyze it under the microscope, and you will see a myriad of small flaws, but the action is explosive and gripping until the very end.
-
Jan 12, 2011A fun, if not terribly challenging, pulp adventure title. The brief ride is enjoyable the entire time, and a solid pick for fans of the genre.
-
Jan 12, 2011Lost Horizon has all the elements to reach the mass market. It combines humour with well done design work. Its story is worth a movie, and achieves to engage the player since the beginning.
-
Jan 12, 2011Quotation forthcoming.
-
Jan 12, 2011Lost Horizon doesn't really do anything wrong, but never surprises. The poorly animated characters don't do the beautiful art style and strong story justice. Additionally, the excellent help function and linear puzzles make the game overly simple, but sometimes it still feels a bit too clumsy.
-
Jan 12, 2011A fun and adventurous point & click game in the style of classics like Fate of Atlantis. The only downside is that the puzzles are often a bit too silly to fit with the story, but they're still quite entertaining.
-
Jan 12, 2011A nice historic point and click adventure with a well balanced difficulty but a lack of originality.
-
PC Gamer UKJan 31, 2011For a weekend's light point-and-clicking, you can definitely do worse. [Jan 2011, p.97]
-
Jan 12, 2011Lost Horizon takes so many things from other games that the ending result lacks personality and hides its few wise ideas.
-
Jan 12, 2011Old-school adventure game with obvious inspiration from Indiana Jones. Most of the puzzles are weak, and you will quickly grow to feel like a helpless tourist being carted around between digital holiday resorts as the story isn't very engaging. Kudos for trying to streamline the genre by easing the difficulty level and setting a high pace, but the end result just isn't very fun.
