    Too shallow. There might be potential in its peculiar mix of genres but Loop hero is not quite there yet.

    Loop Hero sin duda es un juego original y diferente. Plantea unas mecánicas que aparentemente juegan solas buena parte de toda, y la clave es cómo buildeamos al personaje y al entorno, de modo que equilibramos lo que podemos hacer con cuan lejos queremos llegar. A medida que avanzamos desbloqueamos nuevas cartas y opciones, así como nuevas clases y boses, y vamos mejorando nuestro puebloLoop Hero sin duda es un juego original y diferente. Plantea unas mecánicas que aparentemente juegan solas buena parte de toda, y la clave es cómo buildeamos al personaje y al entorno, de modo que equilibramos lo que podemos hacer con cuan lejos queremos llegar. A medida que avanzamos desbloqueamos nuevas cartas y opciones, así como nuevas clases y boses, y vamos mejorando nuestro pueblo para obtener algunas mejoras permanentes en pasivo. Personalmente, en general, muchas de las mejoras del pueblo resultan menos... impactantes, de lo que podrían haber sido.

    Gráficamente, entiendo que el juego está hecho por un equipo pequeño, pero el aspecto del juego es excesivamente pobre incluso con eso en mente. Y con el sonido ocurre un poco lo mismo, aunque no de modo tan destacado. Finalmente, al menos en mi tiempo jugándolo, no me he encontrado ningún bug.

    Por todo ello, sin duda Loop Hero es un juego divertido, interesante y diferente, pero que no es ni de lejos perfecto. Un 7.    … Expand

    I feel kind of bad for not liking this game, but after putting 30 hours in, I have to admit, I don't think this game really grabbed me like it grabbed others. The main issue for me is how quickly the game gets repetitive. At 30 hours, it may seem like an obvious complaint that the pixel rouge-like commonly on sale for under 10 dollars gets repetitive, but it was a feeling that started longI feel kind of bad for not liking this game, but after putting 30 hours in, I have to admit, I don't think this game really grabbed me like it grabbed others. The main issue for me is how quickly the game gets repetitive. At 30 hours, it may seem like an obvious complaint that the pixel rouge-like commonly on sale for under 10 dollars gets repetitive, but it was a feeling that started long before the 30 hour mark. There also seems to be an unnecessary amount of meta knowledge on the game in order to accomplish late-game strategies, something that I certainly had been developing after about 10 hours, but eventually I felt the need to read wikis just to progress in the story which is never a good sign to me. Overall, worth the price I paid for entry, but a game that I believe won't live long in my memory nor anyone elses.… Expand

    It's ok for what it is, but becomes stale very fast. If it had more variety in all its aspects it would've been a great little game, sadly the way it has been set up now once you figure out the solution you just repeat the same thing over and over.

    Ну, для низкобюджетной инди игры в принципе неплохо. Игра короткая и довольно простая, процесс регулярно повторяется, но в принципе даже и затягивает.     One more loop and I will go to sleep, but without sleeping.

    Totally worth the €12 I paid for it on Steam. It kinda reminds me of playing Arkham Horror board game, mixed with Magic.

    Interesting game, I enjoy autobattlers in general but this got repetitive way too quickly. There was far too much grinding to access anything that made the loops feel different from one another.

    Look, I wanted to like Loop Hero. Heck, I wanted to love it. But Loop Hero gets in its own way with a few too many mechanics that never deepen and an overall grind-heavy design that punishes fun playstyles. There's something really brilliant in here. I know because I trudged through a heck of a lot of very-not-brilliant stuff to get to it.

    Immaculate design, tight balance and gorgeous art, sound, and music make Loop Hero a no-brainer for the price. Rogue-lite gameplay cycles between building your town and auto-battling on a closed loop road that you play cards onto, to add buildings and such, which increases the complexity and brings more enemies into the fold at your own pace and to your own taste. I won't say anythingImmaculate design, tight balance and gorgeous art, sound, and music make Loop Hero a no-brainer for the price.     At a certain point, one has to accept that no matter how pretty the pixels are, there has to more to a game than brainlessly grinding into eternity. Loop Hero isn't even close to fun enough to justify its absurd grind.

    I now am 15 hours into the game and I‘m loving every single moment of it. For 15$ you get an addictive game that keeps evolving and surprising with its hidden mechanics. The artstyle is reminiscent of the past and the music is good at keeping you engaged. While difficult at times it’s also an unexpectedly relaxing experience with lots and lots of content. I would rate the game a 9.5/10,I now am 15 hours into the game and I‘m loving every single moment of it. For 15$ you get an addictive game that keeps evolving and surprising with its hidden mechanics. The artstyle is reminiscent of the past and the music is good at keeping you engaged.     Loop Hero comes pretty close to being fun at a few points, but it can't decide how much attention it wants, how involved it needs you to be, and whether it is simplifying grinding or needlessly complicating it. As it stands, Loop Hero feels very, very Early Access. The tragedy is that we know it's not.

    A great example of brilliant realization of an idea.
    If you don't try it, you will surely miss numerous hours of gaming.
    You need to build the world from the ashes, and you either fail, succeed or need to grab your self out of it before night ends.
    The worst positive aspect of the game is it's too addictive because of the gameplay. Nice art and music too. Everything is fine with this game.

    Максимально унылая игра с убогой атмосферой, музыкой и геймплеем. Вместо того чтоб доделать игру пол бюджета видимо потратили на стримеров которые пару дней пиарили это недоразумение. Не Качайте, не тратьте свое время.
    P.S Разрабы накручивают рейтинг черзе ботов ставя 1010 оценки. в принципе ожидаемо от расиян, украсть, обмануть они могут. Сделать хорошую игру не могут.     Loop Hero is easily a masterpiece, and not only one of the best RPGs out there, it's also one of the best games. It's very fun and has a lot of great gameplay mechanics like building twons. Easily a must recommend game.

    I wonder if it is possible to underestimate the absence of the Russian language, is it possible to underestimate the absence of any other language in their games?
    If it's possible to **** a game over LGBT references, can it be turned against them?

    When I first saw the trailer for Loop Hero, I was very impressed. It seemed to tick all the right boxes for me. A very specific retro visual style and sound effects, which Loop Hero really nails right on the head. It is often referred to as a roguelike, but to me it is more of a tile placement board game.     The problem, however, is that its length was artificially prolonged by locking progression behind grind. For the first several hours, that didn’t really bother me as I was enjoying my time with the grind. But Loop Hero is actually a much more simplistic game than it first appears to be. There are not many synergies among the tiles and it doesn’t take long to figure out the optimal way to play. A few hours after Act 3, I’ve just got really bored with the grind and decided to grind through the rest of the game was not worth my time.

    I still applaud Loop Hero for the visuals and innovative gameplay. I have the feeling that a sequel would be great, if it preserves what is good about Loop Hero but improves upon things that don’t work well (meaningless grind, lack of clever synergies…).    … Expand

    The game is very simple at first glance - we walk in a loop, collect equipment, fight automatic battles. However, each opportunity to develop a settlement / camp allows you to discover new mechanics, including cards with which we "rebuild" the destroyed world. And here are some    I played a demo for a few hours, which allowed for a lot of progress and still knew what product I was buying.
    The game is very simple at first glance - we walk in a loop, collect equipment, fight automatic battles. However, each opportunity to develop a settlement / camp allows you to discover new mechanics, including cards with which we "rebuild" the destroyed world. And here are some nice surprises as the game offers many hidden synergies between them. Putting many rocks and mountains next to each other creates a Great Mountain, the Vampire Manor turns Villages into ghouls' spawns, which can become Towns after a while, if we survive some loops, etc.
    It could be cheaper, but it seems to offer enough entertainment (and that is before I unlocked the second character class) to pay off in getting it during the promotion. A big surprise at the beginning of March, definitely positive.    … Expand

    Great indie game with a catchy gameplay loop. I'd love to see this on iPad so I can play while watching netflix on the couch.

    Это странная смесь, из рогалика, ККИ, строительства и автобатлера, но она действительно увлекает. Инди-сегмент все так же поражает своими удивительно оригинальными идеями. Авторам респект!

    Very original, nice atmosphere. Gives you plenty of choice. Challenging and balanced, has depth and replayability. I think it has a high potential and really happy to have discovered Loop Hero.

    No soy gran fan del género, solo me gusta probar algunos al año y como mucho doy una vuelta si no cambia mucho la cosa.     It looks like a simple little game, but give it some time, acquire more cards and it will surprise you with its unfolding complexity and addictiveness. Admittedly, initial loops are boring, but ultimately I spent hours on end with Loop Hero and had tons of fun. [05/2021, p.38]
