JoshR.Jun 6, 2004I have played lots of MMORPGs, and this is by far the worst ever. Do not buy this game. It is a waste of your time and money. Leveling is monotonous and mind numbing. The quests are boring, the world is empty and buggy, and the community is the worst I have ever playd with. The graphics are decent, but this is the best case of gameplay being nonexisitent. Repeat: Do not buy this game.

[Anonymous]May 12, 2004I've played almost every MMORPG and this one is one of the worst. It's the most "dull, korean hack 'n slash, diablo wanna be, level grind" That persuades you by it's up to date graphics.

Nov 23, 2013There are tons of excellent games to try, a thousand time betters than this crap to waste your time, is a plain MMORPG that takes too long in the repeated formula of "kill things to get equipment, the kill tougher things" and access good content, doesn't worth the risk.

Nov 18, 2019Don't like this game because is a same type of game like AION.
Boring MMO experience.... -
May 30, 2014Probably can provide a nice PvP experience, but Lineage II is based off a single thing: click on the same monster a bunch of times, until you level up. It is a real waste of time, and a disappointement for NCSOFT.

For anyone new to the genre, this isn’t the best place to start due to the technical flaws and PvP griefing. Even veterans of the online role-playing genre will find the many errors impeding their fun.

A gorgeous boilerplate game with little innovation and many sections of tedious play.

PC GamerMy biggest complaint is the excruciating grind, where you hunt creatures for experience points and money. [July 2004, p.66]
