    Another narrative game or with a lot of dialogue / cinematic but whose available dubbing is only English.

    The other communities such as the French, Germans, Russians, etc... are neglected.

    My money will be better at other studios.

I was astonished by the profound connection I developed with these characters – it was an unexpected and moving encounter.

    The Telltale-inspired style combined with the unique ability to control the characters and the intriguing chaos theory theme were a perfect blend. The time-rewind mechanic, in particular, was masterfully executed, adding an intriguing dimension to the gameplay.

    "Life is Strange" offered an extraordinary and singular journey, brimming with emotion and genuine feelings. I couldn't find a single flaw to complain about, and it has secured a place among my all-time favorite games.

    Certain scenes had such a profound impact on me that I felt overwhelmed with emotions. There were moments when I couldn't bear to explore further or continue playing. Twice, I found myself gazing at the monitor, lost in contemplation. The game managed to evoke teary eyes in some scenes, an achievement only previously attained by Telltale's "The Walking Dead."

    In conclusion, "Life is Strange" is a truly unique and emotionally poignant experience, impeccably crafted with a brilliant narrative. It stands as a remarkable piece of art, a game that resonates deeply and leaves a lasting impression.     life is strange is a weird but good time travel game and even a little bit cringe sometimes especially the dialogue but that is part of its charm and i believe was purposely done for. i barely see games or any medium do this and i find that unique. it's like a breath of fresh air compared to the standard video game.

    احد افضل العاب القصة الي لعبتها في حياتي جداً دخلت جو مع الشخصيات و تعلقة فيهم رغم التحريك و الجرافكس المتوسط لكن الحوارات غطت على كل عيوب اللعبة

    This game is good for two things. One if you are bored from other genres and looking for a quick escape. Two if you have a girlfriend that you would like to turn into a gamer girl than this is a good starting game for her.

    I played it a while back and of course, only now am I doing a review for it, I    The Time was simple and the day was early, Life is Strange was a game that I never thought I'd like, this game isn't necessarily about the graphics or the gameplay, it's really about the deep story it pushes on you in a complex, and laid back world as if it was a late night storybook you'd read in the summer.

    I played it a while back and of course, only now am I doing a review for it, I remember playing this around 2 or 3 times for the different endings and choices, and almost every choice leads so well in the game's story.

    All the characters, stories, plot points and choices even the rewind mechanic were well thought out. This game isn't lost in time but is one of those games that should be played by everyone eventually.

    Now for the bads of the game, it's the high school drama. But it is necessary to convey this sense of safety during the story. Also maybe just walking around constantly may be a little slog especially if you don't want to miss anything, I would say that all the bads of the game are done on purpose, but stuff like the graphics and the actual lip sinking of the characters can be a bit of let down, especially during scenes of high emotion.

    I think with all of that I can only take a point away, the rest of the game is just a joy to play through and it's rare that I play a game multiple times.
    This is a 9/10 game, this is the true definition of a story game that needs more of a full remake to Iron out the graphics and lipsyncing. I think the remaster they did back was pointless and doesn't really do anything for the game besides make it brighter. The original game still is good, just understand that each section was released separately if you go and buy this, you want the complete experience with no hitches whatsoever, maybe the remaster is useful after all.    … Expand

    An awesome game. I tried it just out of curiosity and I was quickly immersed to a fantastic story that made me think a lot about life in general....Characters, direction and pacing are out of this world. Graphics and music are just outstanding. Its a game you wont forget even years after you play it...This is a 9/10 game without a doubt, a masterpiece of its kind.

    Jogo muito bom mas só consegui jogar o episodio 1 por que os outros episodios são pagos e demorei um pouco para aprender os controles mas tirando isso... a jogabilidade e boa eu adoro esses jogos de escolha os controles são dificeis de aprender e os graficos são otimos

    Definately there arent a lot of games that will make me cry because of its story, make me love its characters SO MUCH and keep me thinking over for hours or days when I stop playing or finish it. Well, Life is Strange is one of them.
    Just a wonderful story, soundtrack and graphic style.

    *Интересный и развивающийся сюжет. И с каждым эпизодом, тебе становиться интереснее наблюдать за событиями героев и ты ещё сильнее вникаешь в события игры. Атмосфера и драмы в игре хватает, когда под середину игры ты уже начинаешь волноваться за героев игры.
    *Сами герои как по мне открыты хорошо, но перед этой частью я посоветовал бы пройти Life is Strange: Before the Storm, и большое количество вопросов во время прохождения у вас отпадут. Вы больше узнаете саму Хлою, кто такая Рэйчел, и даже в некой степени больше узнаете про Фрэнка.
    *Графика и механика на те времена была тоже отличная.

    К слову, к самой игре претензий у меня почти и нет. Игра мне безумно понравилось. Мне было интересно наблюдать за персонажами, и за самим сюжетом. И в конце игры, когда игроку полагается самый тяжелый выбор за всю игру, у меня даже потекла слеза. И даже по сей день, был бы рад продолжению истории Макс и Хлои.     Çok güzel bir hikaye ile berbat ötesi bir oynanışın harmanlandığı oyun. Oynanış o kadar berbat ki oyun sadece seçimlerden ve ara sahneleri izlemekten ibaret olsa çok daha iyi olurmuş. O şişe toplama kısımları falan tam bir saçmalıktı. Ama sonraki bölümlerde bunu biraz daha düzeltmişler. Dedektifliğin arttığı bölümlerde, ipuçlarını birleştirmek keyifliydi.

Есть только твои решения. Единственный весомый минус игры это то, что она заканчивается. И наступает опустошение. Как будто с игрой, уходит частичка тебя.Невероятная игра!     A saga with incredible potential, a very well defined and even dramatic and exciting story, great representation with LGBTQIA+ characters, and very well optimized, something that many other games cannot do is maintain fidelity between platforms, but the same Life Is Strange that plays on the PC is also incredibly good on the Iphone.

    The relationship of Max and Chloe, evolving in the sweetest way in a fictional city where everything is indie and sad. And you decide what happens between them and between Max and each character. 10/10 because you can feel the love of the developers and because it has one of the most compelling ost in the videogame industry.

Жаль что наши выборы в лучших традициях telltale ни на что не влияют, но все же сама история и атмосфера игры влюбляют с первых минут.     Life is Strange was my first experience in what I call “interactive movies”. There is some puzzles; a very bit of stealth; and a lot of walking around; but the biggest part of the game is the dialogue choices you make that effect the story. I enjoyed it when it first came out and after replaying it I can say it holds up really well. The graphics are a tad dated for the sunnier daytimeLife is Strange was my first experience in what I call “interactive movies”. There is some puzzles; a very bit of stealth; and a lot of walking around; but the biggest part of the game is the dialogue choices you make that effect the story. I enjoyed it when it first came out and after replaying it I can say it holds up really well. The graphics are a tad dated for the sunnier daytime scenes but they’re still above average in my books and have a good colour palette. The storm scenes are still very good, especially the wet clothing and rain effects. The voice acting and music were spot on and across the board I liked them. The dialogue was overall good but could get a bit cringy at times. That being said most of the characters are teens so maybe I should give points for realism. The story itself is fantastic which is good as it is the main draw in the game. I did find the shoehorning of some political issues handled poorly and not subtle at all but it was minor and bearable. The characters made up for it. Whether it was Max; Chloe; Alyssa; Samuel; Warren; Joyce; David; and many more I can’t say I disliked any of them. That is to say they were all well layered, even if some were meant to be detestable. There were a couple times where I didn’t like the choices or how they panned out but they were largely very enjoyable. My issues were that some of them gave me little option but to be a bad person or be mean to others in order to stay on good terms with Chloe but to be fair the game addresses this at times in the story. I also didn’t like a single puzzle where I have to gather materials in the school. I needed to try to reach something that Max wasn’t tall enough for. I knew she couldn’t reach it so I tried to grab a chair but the game wouldn’t let me use the chair until I went through the motions and tried to reach the object anyway. Another time when trying to sort through pictures to tie together evidence they referred to, what was clearly a truck, as an SUV.

    I played Life Strange on Linux. It never crashed on me. I did notice that one time Max lacked lip movements while talking but the whole issue lasted about ten seconds so it wasn’t a big deal. The game has a v-sync toggle; two AA settings; a resolution option; and four other graphics settings. Alt-Tab didn’t work. The performance was overall very good but I will say that it was jarring whenever the game went from cut scenes to normal game play because the game used my 144Hz refresh rate but the cut scenes were capped at 30 FPS and it looked weird for the first second or so before and after. The game dropped to 24 FPS for 1-2 seconds and also dropped to 65 FPS for 1-2 seconds but spent the most of the time at 100 FPS or higher. The game uses an auto save system. Overall it worked alright but at least once I noticed that I quit after seeing the save point mid scene and when I went back in it started me at the beginning of the scene not when the save point was. I would have preferred a manual save system.

    Overall I highly recommend Life is Strange. It has great production values; a good story with great characters; and does a good job allowing you some freedom to make choices. If some of my criticisms seem petty it’s because they are, I really don’t have any serious flaws to gripe about. I finished my first play through in 13.5 hours and my second in 14.5 hrs. I spent $21.74 CAD on all five episodes and would have happily paid $45 so I think the current price of $21.99 CAD is a steal.

Я делаю скидку на бюджет и готов из-за этого смотреть на бесконечные восьмёрки в диалогах, но крепкого фундамента в виде сценария разработчики не смогли обеспечить, отчего все это хочется бросить и возненавидеть.
    3. Геймплей в игре хуже двух аспектов выше вместе взятых. Очень скучно, очень однообразно. Механика с перемоткой времени - вверх вымученности; игрока постоянно берут за шкирку, чтобы он ей пользовался, отчего даже иллюзия вариативности сходит на нет. Хотя эту иллюзию изначально не поддерживали.
    Диалоговое окно имеет минимальный смысл из-за минимальной вариативности. И самое мною ненавистною в этой игры - ходить и рассматривать предметы на локации. Нет, спасибо. ...
    Будь мне 15 лет - это было бы круто, но не в 20. Слишком много огрехов, слишком мало таланта разработчиков. Даже в игры Teltale играть интереснее, думаю. Не говоря уже о quantic dream и прочих предложениях подобного жанра на рынке.
    Никому не советую эту игру.

Jogo simplesmente perfeito, o jogo te prende em cada detalhe a cada capítulo que de passa vc quer cada vez mais chegar no final, com cenas emocionantes, tristes e engraçadas, as personagens Max e Chloe são melhores amigas a muito tempo, porém a Max afia mudado de cidade e acaba se afastando de sua melhor amiga por 3 anos, durante esse tempo a Chloe perdeu seu pai que acabou falecendo em um acidente de carro, isso acaba afetando muito a Chloe ela muda seu visual e principalmente sua personalidade, após o retorno da Max as duas passam por muitas aventuras
    Na minha opinião os melhores capítulos são o 1 3 e o último, não falando que os capítulos 2 e 4 sejam ruins, pelo contrário todos os capítulos desse jogo e simplesmente sensacional, o final e daquele jeito sempre que eu jogo choro com a morte da Chloe.    … Expand

    Bei diesem Spiel stimmt wirklich nahezu alles. Tolle Musik, tolle Sprecherinnen, stimmiges Gameplay und unfassbar herzzerreißend schön-traurige Geschichte. Nur hier und da hätten die Suchpassagen angepasst sein können (wenn man Leute ewig warten lässt, um ein Plakat zu bestaunen).

    Good and refreshing game. It has it's ups and downs, but generally keeps up a good flow of story, gameplay, character development, drama and mystery. This, combined with real world issues (suicide/self harm, depression, anxiety, corruption, abuse etc.) makes for quite an experience.

    Starting this game, I had no idea what it was, but now I am happy that I finished it.

    In my opinion, the denouement is a bit overshadowed and towards the end my head is spinning from new events.
    But, this is really an incredible game with a very high-quality soundtrack!

    Fantastic game from Dontnod, one of the most beautiful game i played. The OST is litteraly insane, the characters development is really good, even if some side characters deserved more attention but it will not bother your experience.

    Life Is Strange is one of the best games I've ever played. An unforgettable and exciting graphic adventure. A game that made me cry like no other. A masterpiece that graphically is not Exciting but in my opinion the graphics is the least important aspect of this game that despite being not graphically exorbitant, manages to be expressive as never before.

    Story and atmosphere are absolutely phenomenal. And the climax was emotional and brilliant and just really well-done.

    But I do have a couple critiques of the story.

    I felt like the scene where Victoria was trying to seduce the teacher was pretty weak. It obviously existed to solidify Mr. Jefferson as a trustworthy man before he surprises you by revealing he was the main bad guy all along, which is just really cliché. I really wish Jefferson could have alluded to his creepy side better before the reveal.

    It's obvious that sacrificing Chloe is the "intended" way to end the game, but the "sacrifice Arcadia Bay" option feels like a missed opportunity since it could have been really powerful too: Max is refusing to just accept what "fate" wants and will do absolutely whatever she can for her friend, which is pretty badass. It would have been nice to see this mindset reflected in the game, especially because player choice is the game's core theme.

    Overall, I think it probably deserves like a 9.7 out of 10. Totally glad I got to play it.    … Expand

    Insanely entertaining, emotionally deep and well crafted story game based on decisions with a fun supernatural element. The characters are well written and fleshed out and the game moves along at a nice pace. The climax is satisfying and, while a bit predictable, well executed.

    1,2,3,4 episodes are awesome and sometimes shocking! One moment is scaring, another - you want to cry... Very interesting and sensual game, but... Episode 5 is a little weaker... I think developers a bit sluggish, when they make episode five...

    Life is strange is an amazing, story driven game. Life is strange is amazing because of the rewind ability and that the choices you make impact the story, it's like a movie you control (also it takes place in Oregon so it has a soft spot in my heart)

    What a great atmosphere this game offers. The characters feel real, the story is good and the soundtracks are amazing. A bunch of the events gave me the chills and I got very emotionally invested. Definitely recommend this one.

    Life Is Strange is an imperfect video game and the actual mechanics of playing it, including the time rewind, can become annoying of frustrating, especially when the development team tries to borrow from another genre. But the game makes it easy to create a connection with Max and to care about her choices and trials, a rare feat, and that means any fan of narrative-driven experiences should try it out to see how he deals with the feelings of the protagonist and the impact they have on Arcadia Bay.
