    This game is very funny and very very good...reminds me of lost Vikings and trine...but you must kill to move on. Excellent puzzle game and you can use either controller or keyboard. Don't pass this up very excellent and loads of fun.

    This is a cracking little puzzle game with some really fun concepts, especially the fact that your killing yourself to help you complete your journey. I only wish it was longer so I will be watching out for these guys to see what they release in the future.

    This is a fun sleeper game that I really enjoyed. The puzzles are moderately challenging, but not frustrating, and the mechanics of the game are fun. It gets high praise from me for teaching you new game rules without needing to throw a tutorial at you; you get to learn the game as you play. Allowing you to figure out these concepts is very satisfying; it's too bad that more games don'tThis is a fun sleeper game that I really enjoyed. Allowing you to figure out these concepts is very satisfying; it's too bad that more games don't work this way. It's oddly refreshing to play a game where dying is not the end of the game and falling into a trap is a legitimate way to win. My only complaint is that the game is feels a little short. It's possible to play though this entire game in a few sittings. There are some bonus challenges, so that extends the life of the game to a degree. The end credits in particular are pretty awesome.… Expand

    A puzzle game. Your challenge: Get to the "cup", the all holy grail, or die trying. And die trying again. And die again. And if enough brave knights died, one of the knights that comes after them will be able to walk across their corpses and not fall into the spikes that killed the others.

    Yes, in this game you fill the moat with corpses so you can walk across without getting your feet    A puzzle game. Your challenge: Get to the "cup", the all holy grail, or die trying. And die trying again. And die again.     That's the basic idea behind this otherwise rather normal platform puzzler. You have buttons that change things, you have conveyor belts (with and without spikes), you have cannons that can shoot your knights about (and kill them in the process, only to land them on buttons so they keep them pressed)... you get the idea.

    All done with incredibly beautiful and cute animation that makes you almost feel bad for using the cute knights as cannon fodder (and quite literally so). The only problem is that the novelty factor wears off eventually and it is, well, yet another puzzler. But for the price of what you'd pay for a pizza, so it's still a good buy.    … Expand

On n’est plus dans la rupture du flow du jeu, mais bien dans sa continuité, et c’est plaisant. Donc, l’idée brillamment réussit de ce puzzle-platformer est de tuer notre personnage pour progresser.     There’s no way to get bored in Life Goes On. Partly because it frequently introduces new obstacles and other elements of environment, but also due to the fact that it only lasts for three hours. [06/2014, p.67]

    Even though Life Goes On is short and simplistic, it offers a bold, welcome break from the ‘science saves the world’ cliché permeating other puzzle games. Three ‘vikings’ will win only if two of them are dead.

    The sense of humor that informs the UI too rarely penetrates to the actual level design. Because of this, and the comparative ease of its puzzles, Life Goes On feels like a trifle, nicely made and modestly amusing but forgotten more quickly than it's finished.
