    STORY: It doesn't try to be anything deep like the Batman films but it is entertaining nevertheless with jokes and banters. The closet thing I can think of is the TV series Batman Brave and the Bold. It's got that kind of feel to it, not parody like the 1960s but not dark like the 90s BTAS. Batman has dry humor. He's serious; no one else is. This adds to the entertainment value.

    COMBAT:    STORY: It doesn't try to be anything deep like the Batman films but it is entertaining nevertheless with jokes and banters. He's serious; no one else is. This adds to the entertainment value.

    COMBAT: Half of the game is breaking stuff. Half of the breaking stuff is combat (fighting Lego people i.e. bad guys). Most action games you have to punch a guy 10 times before they magically disappear; not in Legoland - er, Gotham. You punch a guy maybe 2-3 times and he breaks into pieces (literally ... because they're Legos; no blood). It's simple and fun. The other half of the breaking stuff is breaking random stuff because it's what you do in video games (and needed for puzzle solving).

    PUZZLES: The other half of the game is puzzles. You'll find yourself stuck a lot of times. After beating everyone in combat, you're not sure what to do next; this is when you have to use your head and think about the environment. It often boils down to this: 1) Are you wearing the right costume (Batman has different gadgets)? If not, change. 2) Have you broken everything you can? Breaking things sometimes reveal pieces you can then use to create something else, like a costumer changer thing or a staircase, which you'll need to get to the second floor or your next stop.

    Overall, it's a fun experience. You can ride the Batmobile around Gotham City to get to different missions, or you can switch to Robin from Batman (or whichever characters; they are many) and ride a motorbike instead. You can't die, which is a good thing because it means you can keep playing without a game over. The action is fun; the jumping around is fun. The action is interrupted by moments when you have to stop and think about what you need to do next to proceed so the game is part action, part puzzles, which is a pretty good combination for a Batman game.    … Expand

    I love this game but Free Play isn't very enjoyable since the puzzles are mostly tailored to the characters you play as in Story Mode so you can't play

    This game right here is a Lego MASTERPIECE (no the pun was unintentional). I highly recommend checking it out as it often goes on sale on steam for like 4$.

    I bought some football magazine with the demo of this game
    As a kid I played the demo a dozen times
    about 4 years later I got the full version
    the first stages were very good, the next I played with a friend

    I played this game again after 9 years and it was as interesting as the first time.
    A typical LEGO game with typical story. The game has good graphics even though it is 9 years old. City was small but well-designed. The way that every mission needed cooperation to progress was kinda cool. The diversity of characters and their unique movement and ability was amazing.

    The best Batman game ever, a masterpiece of world design and comedy. Possibly the greatest game ever created, a very complex and interesting story that sucks you in and really makes you FEEL like Batman.

    This game was literally my childhood. I remember spending hours and hours just roaming around and doing whatever I wanted. SO much better than the third, and a great upgrade than the first.

    Although I usually like LEGO games, this one sometimes gave me more frustration than fun. When flying, characters are hard to navigate. I actually flew only when it was absolutely necessary. The Batman costume mechanics makes changing characters redundant (Just play Batman, he is all you need).
    Apart from that - another decent LEGO game with an open world and usual, delightful brick smashing.

    Best Lego game ever made Game's amazing. The gameplay is smooth. There's almost no glitches in the game. The storyline is amazing. Keep up the great work

    This is a great game, even for adults. The free-roam coop, seamless blend of Lego and realistic graphics, and large number of playable DC superheroes will keep you entertained for a long time. This really signals great things for future Lego games in general, I think.

    Finally a game I can play with my girlfriend! Two Xbox controllers on PC. Ok, it's for kids, but the level of imagination and fun we both had completing each level is right up there with the best that gaming can offer. Puzzles are pretty simple, but not always obvious. The level-design and witty spoke dialogue stand out, but I wasn't really that interested in the open world element. WithFinally a game I can play with my girlfriend! Two Xbox controllers on PC.     PC game summary- stable with no crashes, amazingly long playability, funny story mode.
    Fun to play for 4 year old and dad. Ideal with game pad, motionjoy works well to enable ps3 joy pads to work.
    Best ever kids game.
    Even better than toy story 3 game which was also excellent.

    This game is so much fun, especially on co-op! There are so many fun things to discover and unlock! Replay value is also very high because many things can not be unlocked until later on! Draw backs are navigation and at times control of the characters (especially flying is a bit tricky in free roam). Overall a very fun co-op play!     Absolutely fun, voice acting is great with lot of jokes. Graphics are in the same line as ever, but with a really huge scenario to explore. The plot is really fun. And the mix with Justice League is great, and I have only found Superman yet. I recommend this game to everyone.

    I love Lego and for me this game is multiplayer spuer.K tomuzhe always krt.Dlya fans finally can klass.DA Lego and other lego bemen well, and so on were fun and it also provides an overview of prikolnaya.Esche Yuzya Mr. Lepley fun with Nastya on the X bokse.koroche to buy everything.

    This game is the best LEGO game I've ever played (sorry LEGO Star Wars) and I've played a lot of LEGO games: LEGO Star Wars Complete Saga and Clone Wars, LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4 and 5-7, LEGO Indiana Jones 2 and LEGO Pirates Of The Caribbean. Personally I'm not a big fan of DC, I prefer MARVEL.
