    Mutation mode is tons of fun for the Infected as it allows you to truly feel dominating, but the real adrenaline rush is for the Survivors, who have to communicate and have fast reflexes in order to survive.

    The downfall is that you can only play the same level so many times before the excitement begins to wane. But regardless, it’s definitely worth the asking price. You’d be foolish not to pick it up.

    The Passing adds a new Campaign, a new infected and some extras for the multiplayer side that should make Left 4 Dead 2 fans very happy.

    I'd suggest that if you managed to make it through the entire game the first time around, then you owe it to yourself to purchase The Passing. Sure, it's short, but the mutation mode is set to add a heap of gameplay over the coming months, so get on board sooner rather than later.

    The Passing adds good quality, three maps campaign and a couple of new competitive modes that worth the price on the 360 console and are a gift on the PC. Good work Vale, good work.

The map is pretty well designed and fun, and the conversations with the original survivors are usually funny although limited and brief. The new weapons work well but they only appear in the passing campaign. The new mutation mode brings week long modes such as realism versus, and versus survival ; there will be 20 modes in all and are definitely an interesting way to keep the game fresh. All in all The Passing is a great update, yes there could have been more interactions with the original survivors and the m60 and golf club should probably be in the other campaigns as well but when it comes right down to it it's really fun and that's all that really matters.… Full Review »

It's strange. The new "gamemode" isn't much of a gamemode as it is a rehash of previously made ones, I don't see much potential in it. Overall, it was sure as hell better than Crash Course. Let's just wait and see what they'll do the for L4D1 Passing DLC.… Full Review »

I for one loved it. The campaign introduces a crossover of sorts, allowing you to encounter the original Left 4 Dead survivors during your journey. It's a nice touch that adds a layer of depth to the story and provides a nostalgic nod to the first game.… Full Review »
