Lead and Gold is like Team Fortress in wild west style, but lacks innovation and long-time motivation. Nevertheless it's worth a look.
-
PC Zone UKLag and server issues. [July 2010, p.88]
-
A nice multiplayer shooter that borrows rigorously from genre staples, but doesn't really add anything new besides the western theme. Can't beat the price, though.
-
Lead and Gold's straight-shooting multiplayer action is good fun, despite a few drawbacks that tarnish its appeal.
-
If you’re more of a casual multiplayer gamer like I am, then Lead and Gold is neat game. Just don’t expect to be playing it for months on end.
-
LEVEL (Czech Republic)Above average multiplayer first-person shooter in an unconventional western stylization looks good, sounds great and plays excellent! [July 2010]
-
There is a slim chance that Fatshark will eventually manage to fill Lead and Gold with content, like Valve did with Team Fortress 2. But right now the game is not worth its $15.
-
Fun and nervous, Lead and Gold will certainly fit to the gamer who only wants to let off steam a little bit. But for the others, a couple hours will be enough to see all the game have to offer.
-
Edge MagazineThere's wild west fun to be had within these simplistic charms, but it's unlikely to replace your favoured multiplayer shooter. [June 2010, p.103]
-
Despite some nifty enhancements to teamplay and a great western setting, Lead and Gold somewhat falls through with sloppy weapon physics, lag issues and weird design choices.

JustinFMay 18, 2010Just got this game a few days ago. So far I have been enjoying it a lot. No complaints thus far. No different than TF2 just with a western theme IMO.
-
JoarEMay 6, 2010This is the one of the best multiplayer shooters I have played for a very, very long time. It's fast paced and looks great! Worth every penny.
