Mar 4, 2026Laysara: Summit Kingdom finds its best form in this complete version. The addition of the campaign mode, interface adjustments, and improvements to the notification system make the experience more complete and accessible. Its greatest strength lies in its verticality. Building on slopes, balancing altitude and productivity, and creating efficient logistics chains makes the development of each village like a strategic puzzle. It's not just about expanding, but about precise planning. This unique identity helps the game stand out within a genre that is already quite explored.

Apr 15, 2026A city-builder unlike any other. Limited space creates a constant challenge, while the visual presentation and interconnected mountain systems impress. The lack of user tools is disappointing, and the game lacks deeper complexity, but it doesn’t necessarily need it, given its focus on rapid early expansion. Growth becomes more of a logical puzzle, and settling one mountain after another remains consistently engaging, offering a campaign of around 20 hours and dozens more in scenarios and challenges.

Mar 26, 2026If you miss Impressions Games, Laysara: Summit Kingdom will give you an AVALANCHE of excitement. It’s not just a Tibetan village chief simulator! Beneath the clever facade of a colorful and cheerful city-builder lies a truly challenging title.

Mar 20, 2026Building a settlement in the mountainous environment of the Himalayas is more original and fun than in the last instalment of The Settlers. This unusual title focuses on building a settlement and even without combat it presents a challenging experience when faced with difficult conditions.

Mar 13, 2026Laysara takes you to a beautiful and unspoiled mountain setting with complex and skilfully crafted gameplay mechanics.

Mar 4, 2026Laysara is a great hidden gem of a city-building game for anyone who enjoys building efficient production facilities and the hunt for the ideal city layout.
-
Mar 3, 2026While certain elements of the game challenge the traditional playstyle of city builder games, Laysara: Summit Kingdom stands out for its unique theme, challenge, and mechanics. A very different kind of city builder, and one that ventures into a territory never before seen in the genre.

Apr 15, 2026Laysara: Summit Kingdom's campaign is caught in an awkward place between serenity and stress caused by the way it structures objectives, making for a game that's often as frustrating as it is beautiful. But tight, smart design and clever constraints on a well-worn formula mean you'll want to push on, even when its piled-on demands start to feel like an avalanche.

Feb 27, 2026Laysara: Summit Kingdom is a light city builder in an unusual yet beautiful scenario that lacks in terms of content and some quality-of-life-features.

Mar 27, 2026The excellent color palette, cute yak animations, witty writing, and excellent soundtrack were simply not enough to encourage me to play further. All of the novel concepts and innovations presented to me were swiftly undone by the insufficient interface controls near the halfway point of the campaign. Fighting with this interface felt like I was a monk trying to coax my yak up a ramp, and that yak was unwilling to take another step.

Feb 27, 2026My enthusiasm for Laysara: Summit Kingdom has dropped, which is disappointing given its strong mountain setting and promising city-builder concept. The gameplay focuses heavily on fulfilling population needs, with limited production chains and objectives, making it feel more like a puzzle game than a strategic builder. The inability to rotate or upgrade buildings, combined with small building radii and no planning system, restricts creativity and player freedom. Although the game is visually appealing and accessible, it quickly becomes repetitive and fails to maintain long-term engagement.
