    I am a HUGE romero fan and if this game would have been even half way decent I would have been ok with it. This is really a mockery of the dead series. They couldn't even get the 1 head shot one kill formula right. In the first level I shot some zombies 4-5 times directly in the head before they died. The character movement is slow and clunky.     Pretty bad! Gameplay is tedious and slow for example: (why does he move so slowly and run out of breath so fast, when forced to run?) the graphics are also sub par....see the movie instead!!!

    I've beaten through and even modded this series (extra zombie spawns) to give an extra challenge, but the product to me was disappointing because of sub-par hit detection, a random shotgun and other flaws. Bargain bin material, not to mention the developers stopped supporting the game after the last patch.

    Damn ! Looks like a 1999's freeware. I just can't belive this one's out in 2005. Slow speed, boring graphics, empty maps, bad modeling, inexistant AI. A pure deception.

    There are other better "zombie shooters" out there that are more interesting than this. Just download the "Dead Epidemic" mod for this game to get the most out of your money if you happen to have bought the game years ago like me.

    For a game based on a film of the same title, this game is a ugly experience. The first levels begin pretty well giving the player limited ammo to nail a dreadful atmosphere and not giving the player the confidence of being powerful, but the more you progress trough the game the more ammo you find and zombies became less a threat to you.

    The enemy AI is pretty bad, like... so bad. Enemies will constantly stuck in doors or they will just stare at you without doing anything unless of course you hit them, so the general threat of the zombies is mixed.
    The game was built in the Unreal 2 engine and... it looks terrible, visually this is a ugly game with poor modeling, poor level design and texture resolution. Is hard to know in which other projects this developer work, because it seems this was their first and only game, and honestly the whole game looks like it was made by amateurs.
    Weapons in the game overall are weak requiring multiple shots to kill an enemy. The precision and accuracy in weapons is bad, even aiming to the head is useless cuz most time the bullet don't register the impact and like i said "aiming to the head sometimes will not cause an insta kill, sometimes you will blow a zombie's arm instead" that bad the aiming is.
    The FOV is atrocious, it causes me nausea for some minutes and i have to constantly rest to prevent vomit.
    And this game in modern hardware will make the AI even more stupid than they are. unless you use a fix but it didn't work for me.
