    Un juego de mundo abierto que no va a dejar indiferente a nadie. Las mecánicas de investigación son muy interesantes, recordando mucho a aquel mítico clásico de PC llamado "Carmen San Diego". ¿Cuál es la diferencia? Carmen San Diego era un juego más enfocado a la educación, a aprender cultura geográfica para ser exactos, a través de pistas sobre banderas, platos típicos etc, etc En suUn juego de mundo abierto que no va a dejar indiferente a nadie. Carmen San Diego era un juego más enfocado a la educación, a aprender cultura geográfica para ser exactos, a través de pistas sobre banderas, platos típicos etc, etc En su época era un juego bastante entretenidete por las mecánicas que tenían, mientras que en este, como su propio nombre indica, es una historia NOIR enfocada a la resolución de casos de homicidios, tráficos de drogas, incendios y un largo etc.

    A día de hoy veo juegos que al contar una historia bien hecha a base de cinemáticas, quick time events y dar a elegir conversaciones en un tiempo límite, son consideradas "aventuras gráficas". Bien, pues en este juego las apariencias engañan porque aunque pueda parecer un juego genérico de conducción y disparos...esto es lo más parecido que he encontrado de momento a una aventura gráfica de la vieja escuela. Aquí el éxito de los casos depende totalmente de tu habilidad de explorar espacios pequeños, dando vueltas y vueltas encontrando pistas hasta que llega un momento en que el juego te avisa cuando al explorado ese espacio al 100%. La resolución de casos no es una tarea difícil, pero tampoco es que sea un paseo ya que tenemos que enfrentarnos a otra tarea en estos...LOS INTERROGATORIOS. En estos tienes tres opciones que son: dar por válida la respuesta que te ha dicho X persona; decir que es mentira, aportando a posteriori la prueba que confirme tu hipótesis; o bien simplemente dudar de su respuesta sin llegar a confirmar que X persona está mintiendo. En estos no conviene dormirse en los laureles, porque conlleva varias cosas: Fijarse bien en las expresiones faciales; asegurarte de no haberte saltado pistas en el escenario que puedan ser útiles para desmentir al interlocutor o dudar de sus respuestas, en caso de que sea necesario; y enterarse muy bien de los diálogos y de los avances que estás teniendo del caso, de esta manera los dos anteriores parámetros serán más fáciles de cumplir.

    Luego también está el típico contenido secundario: que si crímenes callejeros, coleccionar coches, coleccionar periódicos que dan detalles sobre la historia base, visitar lugares emblemáticos de Los Angeles...bueno que no son la joya de la corona pero son una buena excusa para poder disfrutar de la fantástica ambientación y recreación de la ciudad de Los Angeles en los años 40.

    Ahora procederé con los defectos. Rendimiento pobre, teniendo en cuenta que el reboot de Tomb Raider, que es más moderno, me va como un reloj, pues...este deja que desear XD, no es lo suficiente malo como para dejar el juego como han hecho muchos...pero sí que es verdad que configurarlo bien me ha llevado un buen tiempo y aún así no logra superar los 30 fps. Además de otros fallos gráficos como múltiples estrellas blancas raras que salen en pantalla cuando llueve o música que se pilla de vez en cuando cuando salen las estadísticas finales de cada caso. Otro defecto es que la historia base carece de interés, la cuenta a base de flashbacks, recuerdos del protagonista y los periódicos anteriormente dichos...y la poca que te cuentan durante las cinemáticas del gameplay se te olvidará rápidamente si no juegas al juego todos los días, por lo que tampoco conviene jugarlo muy diluido. En resumen, la historia base considero que está mal montada y mal contada...y no te llegas a enterarte al 100% de las cosas al terminar el juego.

    Aún así, es un juego recomendable con ideas muy buenas, los casos individuales están bien hechos y es un sandbox muy curioso al que tenemos que estar bastante agradecidos. Una lástima que no haya una secuela para mejorar todas estas cosas anteriormente citadas, pero es lo que hay.    … Expand

    Но это не клон ГТА, это нуарный детектив с довольно красивой картинкой, шикарной игровой основой и тяжелой концовкой.

    L.A. Noire is a great game, but not as perfect as I would have liked it to be. I loved the story, it was well written and portrayed, there are very deep concepts and somehow controversial topics that add depth to the characters. The gameplay though is kind of another story, the investigation mechanics are fine, but the way interrogations work could have been resolved better so theyL.A. The driving is responsive, not something you would get mad at, nonetheless it can get a little boring from time to time, Overall it was a great experience, sure it could have been more polished, but you'll never regret buying this good game.… Expand

    Interactive and compelling story made possible with facial-tracking technology, which comes to an abrupt end, and authentic enviroment, which is lacking side-activities.

    Минусы: 1)скучный геймплей, 2) оптимизация 3) отсутствие русской озвучки (а ведь тут нужно следить за подозреваемыми и одновременно понимать, что они там говорят) 4) графика на уровне GTA 4, и игра при этом идёт намного хуже чем Max Payne 3, где графика намного лучше    Ужасная игра.

    Outstanding game, Very accurate in its historical and ambient setting. Taking place shortly after WWII you get to see Americas triumph into the great future. The cases are so interesting and fun to investigate. This truely is a playable Noir movie.

Та же самая ситуация у меня была и с Red Dead Redemption, я тоже не прошел ее до конца, и тоже очень жалею. Я искренне люблю и уважаю этих замечательных разработчиков. Подходят к своей работе грамотно, чтобы игрок насладился и не остался равнодушным после прохождения. Их конечной целью всегда было поразить, чтобы человек не удержался на ногах от увиденного. В пример можно привести абсолютно все игры Rockstar Games. Это тот самый момент когда разработчики не плюнули на потребителя, таких кстати осталось мало. В первую очередь у них идет концентрация на то, чтобы реализовать свой проект максимально качественно, максимально интересно и захватывающе.

    L.A. Noire - это нечто новое. Не могу придумать лучше объяснение. Полноценная игра с расследованиями, даже можно сказать с глубокими расследованиями. Ты проникаешь в каждую деталь запутанного дела. Все что встречается по пути ты должен брать в счет, даже что-то менее подозрительное. Нельзя забывать что оно имеет место быть. Постепенно играя за детектива, ты сам начинаешь чувствовать себя им. Тебе хочется докопаться до истинны, потому что всегда будут сомнения. Всегда будет казаться что, что-то тут ни так. Говорить про реализацию анимации лиц вообще можно бесконечно. Ты допрашиваешь подозреваемого или свидетеля и он черт побори ведет себя естественно. Я сейчас имею в веду, как в реальной жизни. Кто-то боится, потому что ему возможно есть что скрывать. Кто-то отвечает четко, ясно и понятно, потому что уверен, что он этого не совершал. Кто-то из свидетелей может что-то скрывать по личным соображениям к жертве или убийце. И все в таком духе. Нельзя забывать что тут вы игрок и вы играете за детектива, но настоящий детектив здесь вы. По крайней мере вам надо им стать.

    Уже в который раз я убеждаюсь в том, что Rockstar Games превосходят самих себя. Они всегда создают это чувство перед тем как выпустить игру. Чувство заниженного ожидания, а на исходе мы получаем самую вкусную конфетку. Это те самые люди, которых по-настоящему есть за что хвалить. Не знаю ни одной студии, чтобы все их проекты были реализованы по задумке, или просто чтобы были все успешные проекты. Хотя нет, одну знаю, это Rockstar Games. Кстати в игре аспект с уликами тоже сделан хорошо, мне очень понравилось. Ты приезжаешь на место убийство и начинаешь изучать, в итоге маленькая деталь может завести тебя на несколько метров от убийства, и там ты найдешь более ценную информацию. На фоне всего этого играет музыка, которая постепенно вводит тебя в транс детектива.    … Expand

Отсутствие свободы действий, ты вообще ничего не можешь    Даже не знаю, что и сказать, с одной стороны, игра уникальная, в неё стоит поиграть хотя-бы ради того, чтобы получить довольно уникальный игровой опыт, ведь других подобных игр попросту нет по сей день, не говоря уже о том времени, когда она вышла, а с другой стороны у игры есть тонна проблем, которая сводит на нет весь интерес

    1. Отсутствие свободы действий, ты вообще ничего не можешь делать, если игра этого не разрешит. Выстрелил в человека, который открыто напал на полицейского - миссия провалена, это при том, что в реальности в США уже бы изрешетило и нападавшего, и его машину, я так понимаю разработчик яро пытался доказать всем, что полицейские и детективы США не такие, но ведь это глупо, многие наоборот уважают полицию США за то, что те могут остановить преступника выстрелами, по крайне мере в ноги точно, но вместо этого я обязан зачем-то гнаться за преступником... Полная чушь, не имеющая никакой реальности к настоящей полиции США

    2. Безумные скрипты ботов на машинах, бетонные боты, которых невозможно сбить с дороги, если этого не хочет игра, в миссиях с погоней, весь бот едет на лютых скриптах, поворачивая порой под 90 градусов на месте не сбавляя скорости, под конец игры меня окончательно задолбало

    3. Лютейший бред с мимикой лиц... Где вы в реальности видели, чтобы подозреваемые так корчили лица? Что это за чушь собачья? Игра адово хочет быть похожей на жизнь, но при этом главная фишка игры - её же и главный минус, ну нигде вы в реальности не найдете преступника, который сам себя будет сдавать сраными эмоциями лица, никто так не делает, все сидят с каменным лицом и не проявляют абсолютно ничего, в игре же творится полный цирк, порой боты выдают такие выражения, что я валялся под столом в слезах от смеха, это забавно по началу, но со временем ты понимаешь, что Рокстар определенно сделали что-то не то...

    По итогу скажу, что игра заслуживает внимания как минимум, ибо она уникальна, но сделана она откровенно топорно, главная её фишка, моушенкап лиц - её же главная проблема, ибо порой на экране происходит лютый треш с выражениями лиц, игра адово заскриптована и адово ограничена в действиях игрока, ты не можешь стрелять, если этого игра не хочет, ты не можешь догнать, если она этого не хочет, ты попросту ждешь, пока игра сама захочет определенных действий... Очень посредственный геймплей, но очень уникальна сама игра.    … Expand

    I heard many people praising the hell out of this game but when i finally got to it, i still didn't understand why is that whatsoever. There's literally nothing likeable about him, the supporting characters are not better at all, the voice actors sounds like they don't want to be there, honestly i don't blame them. Suspects? They're the dullest and blandest characters i've ever seen in the video games. Speaking of actors in general, the creators of this game marketed this games facial animation as a revolutionary motion capture, but they did one mayor mistake, they hired really sh*tty actors gave them barely any directions and in the end the game looks like a weird tech demo from early 2000s more than anything. But even games with boring characters and uninteresting stories might still have saving graces such good in-game world and gameplay right? Well that isn't a case for this game, the world of the game is empty and even if it looks good it doesn't excuse lack of any sort of activities outside of doing missions, the npcs are all mannequins.
    As for a gameplay, outside of running and driving from point a to point b and chasing suspects with some clunky mechanics we get the meat of the game, the detective part! And guess what we do?
    We look at the random objects that lay on the ground, later we question the suspects.
    Now guess do we:
    A. Connect the evidence we found with suspects
    B. Accuse them of something based on evidence
    C. Combine evidence with accusation in the way it makes perfect sense
    If answered A,B or C you're wrong.
    We literally play guessing game, where the least sensical evidence is the valid one, it's almost like a someone's first attempt at making quiz about topic they're not familiar with, so in the end every stupid answer is the right. "The Fallen Idol" is the prime example of that. The worst part of those scenes is that can't replay them to fix mistakes, if you fail in any way you're done, unless you use exploits to force replaying the scene, but if you're forced exploit the games flaws to replay the scene in the game then there's definitely something wrong with the game.
    A lot of people praise this game and consider it to be the greatest detective game ever made, but i have to disagree. It's basically Simon Says with reversed rules. But in all honesty the biggest issue with this isn't just clunky mechanics or even broken questioning system nor even non existent learning curve.
    It's the fact that the game is basically boring. Some really bad games are atleast so bad they're fun, or even good for that matter. But this game is just plain boring, it doesn't have interesting enough plot to keep you interested, gameplay is way too stale and repetive to keep you playing, the visuals are mediocore and the games selling point facial animations are straight up horrible.
    Can't recommend this game to anyone unless you have sleeping problems.    … Expand

    A truly excellent game by Rockstar and a brilliant effort to create something original to divert from GTA. The facial expressions are amazing for a 2011 game. If you love a good crime story, this is    TLDR: 9/10. Overall great story. Great gameplay. Excellent post-war setting. Cons: Social Club sign in sucks. Ending a bit underwhelming.     If you love a good crime story, this is for you. It has one of the best stories I've ever played in a game. It takes some time but after thr first third, the story really starts to pick up. This game is remarkable not only for its story but for how well it creates a post-war atmosphere. Excellent examples of this are the protag being a returning war hero, the 95 vehicles present in this era, the mention of homes being built for returning GIs and, best of all, the mention of the real life Black Dahlia case. This game really does a great job of putting you in this era. The people in the game just breathe 1940s.

    Finding clues (and sometimes easily missing vital ones that) are really well done in this game. You really can make mistakes because of them so the game encourages you to search. I loved being in Cole'd shoes as a detective and hearing Cole's analysis as you unravel the meaning behind some clues.

    Some say the 25 (I think) cases of the Complete Edition are too repetitive and boring but I disagree. Each one was fascinating to play through if you're a lover of crime novels/shows like myself.

    My only cons with this game are that:
    1. The ending was quite underwhelming.
    2. Sometimes the suspects are a little too obvious with their facial expressions when you need to find out if they're lying, telling the truth or making you doubtful.
    3. One major plot point in the last third of the game. I won't spoil but I found it very stupid and felt like Rockstar put it in because they needed to rush this last act by quickly making this a driving factor for this third act. It just felt silly. Maybe you won't feel the same so don't let this stop you from buying the game.
    4. My close to 100% progress suddenly got deleted due to Social Club being horrible. Luckily I found a way to get it back (it isn't easy).
    5. Social Club. It's annoying to have to always sign in before I can load the menu screen despite ticking 'remember me'.    … Expand

    The game takes place in 1940s (same as Mafia 2) and since it is my favorite decade, I really enjoyed driving in LA streets. The buildings, cars, and music were really good.
    Face expressions and emotions of characters in the game were mind-blowingly amazing and up until    L.A. Noire is a fascinating game but with a bit of extra time and polish it probably could've been one of the best ever.

    With that said, game also had some problems. High potential games like this, always seem to stumble right before the finish line. For instance, the arson desk felt rushed more than anything and the story went downhill all of a sudden.
    The other problem was that missions were repetitive. All cases had same procedure: find clues - speak - chase - repeat. Side mission was even worse. I was expecting something new as the story progressed but it was all the same. Only the last mission was different than the others.
    Also there was lack of activities to do in game. I don't really understand what was the purpose of making a huge map without anything to do in it. There are no garages to save cars, no bars to drink, no shops to buy clothes and etc.
    To conclude, L.A. Noire is one of the best, if not THE best, cop games with a lot of unused potential, but it doesn't mean that it's not worth playing.

    Fun game problem is the ending...you will understand once you play it...other then that each case is interesting and gets you going you can probably get easly 50-70 hours if you wana 100% evrything

    Premetto che ho giocato ad L.A. Noire nel 2020, quindi lo analizzerò con un metro di giudizio attuale.
    AUDIO E GRAFICA: Il comparto audio è più che buono, con ottimi dialoghi e suoni ambientali. Poco incisiva invece la colonna sonora, pur essendo adatta al periodo storico. La lista dei brani presenti non è ampia e allo stesso tempo nessuno di questi è memorabile. Per    ITALIAN:
    Premetto che ho giocato ad L.A. Noire nel 2020, quindi lo analizzerò con un metro di giudizio attuale.

    AUDIO E GRAFICA:
    Il comparto audio è più che buono, con ottimi dialoghi e suoni ambientali. Poco incisiva invece la colonna sonora, pur essendo adatta al periodo storico. La lista dei brani presenti non è ampia e allo stesso tempo nessuno di questi è memorabile.

    Per quanto riguarda la grafica devo dire che per l'epoca era buona, e anche adesso è godibile, per non parlare delle animazioni dei volti che fanno tutt'ora scuola. Allo stesso tempo alcune animazioni sono troppo veloci e poco fluide, così come è presente qualche piccolo bug grafico. Secondo me però il gioco pecca in stile, in quanto l'immagine risulta piuttosto piatta e senza personalità.

    Giocando su PC ho potuto rimuovere il limite dei 30 FPS e utilizzare Reshade. La rimozione del limite a 30 FPS rende il gioco nettamente più fluido (anche se a volte si limita da solo a 50 FPS, non so come mai) ma allo stesso tempo cambia la risposta di guida dei veicoli (più sterzata e meno frenata), oltre a creare un piccolo bug in una missione. Reshade invece permette di aggiungere effetti al gioco, come filtri per i colori, occlusione ambientale, anti-aliasing, bloom e altro. Può far perdere qualche punto di frame rate ma rende il gioco più al passo coi tempi.

    GAMEPLAY:
    Bene ma non benissimo.
    Mi sono approcciato al gioco con la speranza di trovarmi davanti dei casi da risolvere e delle trame interessanti, cosa che effettivamente succede ma non con la profondità che credevo.

    Innanzitutto bisogna dire che si può scegliere la quantità di aiuti che ci verranno forniti dal gioco, dove io ho scelto che il controller vibrasse in vicinanza di un indizio rilevante. Ho scelto questo per evitare di trovarmi a cliccare compulsivamente nelle situazioni più complesse.

    Dopo la fase di ricerca degli indizi si potranno interrogare le persone coinvolte nella vicenda, con un sistema ottimo per quanto riguarda lo scoprire se qualcuno sta mentendo (grazie alle espressioni facciali) ma che spesso risulta troppo semplificato nelle scelte portando a risposte di cui non si è sicuri. Secondo me "asseconda" (che sarebbe "verità"), "forza" (che sarebbe "dubita") e "accusa" (che in realtà significa dimostrare che l'accusato sta mentendo tramite una prova) a volte sono troppo vaghe come risposte e possono trarre in inganno.

    Non mi ha convinto troppo neanche il sistema di deduzione. Basta raccogliere molti indizi e chiamare la centrale qualche volta per risolvere i casi, non c'è ragionamento da parte del giocatore se non in qualche caso. Avrei preferito un sistema tipo quello della serie Sherlock Holmes, con i vari indizi che vanno uniti dal giocatore per formulare deduzioni e giungere ad una conclusione.

    Buone invece le sparatorie e le sezioni di guida (nonostante la guida falsata dalla rimozione del limite degli FPS), noiosi invece gli inseguimenti (sia in piedi che in auto), troppo scriptati e con animazioni irrealistiche.

    STORIA (no spoiler):
    Essendo un gioco investigativo e narrativo, le storie sono il punto forte. Nonostante ciò secondo me alcune trame sono troppo poco approfondite, a discapito di altre che sono inutilmente prolisse (che però allo stesso tempo sono quelle principali).

    Senza fare spoiler, le due trame principali, trasversali tra i casi secondari, sono belle ma vengono protratte solo per farti trovare sempre più indizi utili, senza però causare colpi di scena perchè la soluzione bene o male la si sa già da tempo.
    Le trame secondarie invece hanno più colpi di scena ma sono limitate a brevi filmati, spesso con la sola funzione di intermezzo.

    In conclusione, non mi sento di consigliarlo, non a tutti per lo meno. Su console è presente la versione Remastered ma credo mantenga il limite dei 30 FPS, su PC invece è già meglio potendo bypassare la cosa. Inoltre i giocatori più abituati alle sparatorie si potrebbero annoiare, mentre quelli più attenti alla storia (comunque valida) potrebbero rimanere delusi dalla profondità solo simulata dagli interrogatori.

    Frankly, the only bad thing I can tell about the game are:

    Except the pacing issues, the game excels in nearly every aspect. The motion capture still looks so realistic. I had the complete edition and it took me 25 hours to complete it, which is quite long. The game does suffer from repetitive gameplay because most of the time is spent in "Go to this location", "Investigate the site", "Talk with him/her" which eventually gets tiring but the goodExcept the pacing issues, the game excels in nearly every aspect. The story progresses very slow like the Hideo Kojima games but it is brilliantly written. And EXPECT SOME MIND BLOWING PLOT TWISTS. Shooting is almost non-existent and could have been utilized more to bring in variety in the game. The game has a large open world and it was somehow underutilised because there isnt any exploration incorporated into the gameplay.     It's a good game but for me it's too frustrating and hard. The facial animations hold up and even better than some AAA games that came out few years ago.

    It is an adult game for adults. Don't get me wrong - you won't see here a lot of sex or naked bodies, don't even expect to see here some crazy violence and gore - what makes this game adult is hidden in something completely different and this "something different" is the story, dialogues, characters and in some sense the gameplay. If I was to recommend one and only one game to my father,It is an adult game for adults.     A unique adventure game that borrows many features from mystery and action games, incorporating them seamlessly in the narrative flow, thus creating a truly special game that not everyone will enjoy. And that's because it has its own character, defying contemporary 'fast food' games that are churned out today and because it's reminiscent of endeavors made in another era, where immersion of an ultimate single-player experience was the first and last goal of their creators.
