    This game is equally bad in all of its aspects. The developers should remove all the gameplay and turn Kursk into a free virtual tour of the submarine.

    If it weren’t for the title related to a real submarine and the horrible tragedy of its crew, no one would care about Kursk – and we would have missed absolutely nothing. It’s a dated, terribly boring (both in terms of gameplay and the story), and generally poorly made game. [01/2019, p.54]

    Beyond KURSK‘s virtual tour of the ill-fated titular submarine, this self-proclaimed “adventure documentary” works as neither a compelling adventure game nor a fact-based documentary of the mysterious disaster.

    Devoid of meaningful information about the Kursk and its disastrous accident the game shouldn’t be described in any way as a documentary by the developers. As a game it also fails due to extremely tedious and repetitive objectives, sending us back and forth to the same areas ad infinitum.

    A very buggy gameplay. There's a ton of bugs for a game that has barely 2.5hrs of game time.

    And the loading times are very frequent and insanely long, enough to disrupt the game momentum.

    I don't understand how come a game like this can hog up so much of my system's resources either.
