The reason why I give this game an 8 is because of how well this game was made. the people who made this truly know how to make a horror game. The play time is about 40-50 minutes Long. But I still recommend to download it now and I hope it comes with a sequel. Expand

This game really pulls you into a dark and rich setting that successfully sends chills up your spine. It's a short and yet intense walk through some of your darker nightmares about being lost in an abandoned mansion. I personally loved the library scene, and the statue dudes creep you out!

The game even works on my super awesome 4K monitor too! Graphics are crisp and clear, a nice first

The game even works on my super awesome 4K monitor too! Graphics are crisp and clear, a nice first impression that pulls you in for the rest of the game. It also has some great gameplay mechanics that make you carefully consider how to get out of a particular situation. With minimal UI to get in the way, exploring is easy. Only the direction of the story prevents you from going into certain areas too early.

There are also several Steam achievements that extend playability a little bit more, as the game overall is brief.

In short, it's a single player game that is an enjoyable single evening of fun. I hope they come out with an expansion that fills in more!

"Kraven Manor" has a lot of potential, but it has to be longer. The ~30 minutes of gameplay the first version offers and the ~15 minutes you can get with the demo are just way too short, because this has a lot of potential! The atmosphere is amazing, a perfect combination of unsettling events and creepy noises and it has some really good scares; but I have the feeling I have already seen a"Kraven Manor" has a lot of potential, but it has to be longer. The atmosphere is amazing, a perfect combination of unsettling events and creepy noises and it has some really good scares; but I have the feeling I have already seen a very similar setting/story already. The puzzles are fun and challenging, but also the only real gameplay besides running around. If it's longer, let's say a few hours long, when it's released, "Kraven Manor" might be one of the best horror games of all time.
    We just have to wait.

It's short, predictable and way too similar to Amnesia: the Dark Descent. Still, more Amnesia is never a bad thing and the changing layout of the manor is a neat idea. Shame it isn't used that much. [Feb 2015]

Demo version should remain a demo version not pretend to be a full-featured game. Full version offers close to nothing new compared to teaser. Kraven Manor is promising game with a great potential – but potential unfortunately untapped.

Kraven Manor has made itself known as what a horror game shouldn't be; an unfulfilling experience.
