If you like less control and more automation, this is the game for you. Kohan II is all about strategy and pretty much nothing else. Their developer said, "If you don't like it, don't buy it." Unfortunately, I didn't take his advice. Don't make my mistake. Expand

Added city detail and reduced city plancement locations further reduced the strategic elements that made KIS and KAG unique and successful games. The lack of improvments to the multiplayer matching system were also a disappointment. Still the company and resource model are still very strong.. my advice. Buy Kohan Arihimans Gift instead Expand

Played in 2015 - Seems to have aged poorly compared other rts games, especially the classics. Visually OK, and probably worth a play if you enjoy this genre, but don't expect anything timeless

  1. It plays similarly to the original yet has so much more to it that makes it unquestionably different. The resulting game has a great design, and it offers plenty of depth and complexity.
  2. The simple interface system works well, the controls are flawless, the graphics aren't too shabby and the gameplay provides a good balance of management and action.
  3. While other games coming out might be flashier and bigger and badder and all that crap, what it really comes down to is good strategy and in that aspect Kohan II really nails it.
