    good in small doses ...

    Similar to P&P1 - this game addresses old school pen and paper RPG player by making fun of itself in mostly not too subtle ways. Game mechanics are simple - maybe a little too simple - hence ... "in small doses". Initially - it feels fast paced and fun - but quickly becomes repetitive with fights being just too similar - and void of any real tactics. So for    good in small doses ...

    Initially - it feels fast paced and fun - but quickly becomes repetitive with fights being just too similar - and void of any real tactics.

    So for a mobile game played on a quick bus ride or so - it is "ok" ... for the spoiled PC roleplayer it is barely worth installing. Game features and mechanics are just too few to keep a long term enjoyment - and customization of classes and skills is ... well.. barebones at best.

    Still - in quick bursts without a demand for a deep story or complex mechanics - it is a neat distraction.    … Expand

    These old reviews make the game seem great, sadly now freemium with a totally pay to win flare. Its downright frustrating to make little gold (because they keep nerfing it), constantly dying to unfair mechanics purposefully designed to make you pay money in order survive, sometimes just to even pay for the resurrection costs when you die to the games evil mechanics....such as multipleThese old reviews make the game seem great, sadly now freemium with a totally pay to win flare. Its downright frustrating to make little gold (because they keep nerfing it), constantly dying to unfair mechanics purposefully designed to make you pay money in order survive, sometimes just to even pay for the resurrection costs when you die to the games evil mechanics....such as multiple traps...to soften you up (9/10 times you'll fail the rolls) then when you're characters are pretty much dead..they'll throw monsters at you with high initiative making them go first just to finish off your characters - this happens all too often.

    In a nutshell, this game "USED" to be great - but until KYY sold out to Paradox - this game has become an absolute travesty and besmirches the good name of Knights of Pen and Paper, for shame!! for Shame!! This game is now barely playable, exceptionally grindy and has a terrible and blatant and shameless P2W system in place.    … Expand

    A fun little rpg. Writing might not be great, but I found it to be enjoyable in its own way. Lots of classes to choose from, each with their own unique skills. It feels very rewarding to make a party and tweak it to maximize their potential.

    Wellcome to the sequel, and no more coing begging yes you can make enough in this game,but the art is still a piece of **** and the writing to it is very simple now you have to do quests in order to advance to the end and discover most of the map,
    it is still a cheap piece of ****,same setting same menus same cheap feeling,

    and i mean mostly use one skill per character and max that out and repeat,
    very repetitive and boring and lacking content diversity,
    but it doesn't stop here as short piece of **** that it is it has split dlc that you can buy for 10 euros
    how the **** is it reasonable to slipt the game in parts an then asc for a dlc 130% of the base price,
    you must be playing with dolls if you think you get away that easy.
    I still cannot belive that a theam of more than 1 people made this ****    … Expand

    Ирония. Ирония над ролевыми играми крайне хороша. А в ролевой системе довольно скучна, хотя и выполнена в плане звуков и эффектов отлично для мобилки.     Существуют просто Зло и Большое Зло, а за ними обоими в тени прячется Очень Большое Зло. Очень Большое Зло, Геральт, это такое, которого ты и представить себе не можешь, даже если думаешь, будто уже ничто не в состоянии тебя удивить.     Knights of Pen & Paper 2 simulates the imperfect, but undeniably fun experience of a tabletop RPG. It's a game that pokes fun of entertainment culture and RPG stereotypes as a whole, bundled into an engaging 16-bit retro experience.

    This game is somewhat shallow in fights, but it does give that Dungeons & Dragons feel that we love. This offers a unique behind-the-scenes into the biggest analog role playing game in the world.
