Nov 1, 2016Klang may be short, but it's a hell of a lot of frantic rhythm action fun while it lasts. [Issue#256, p.62]
-
Oct 2, 2016A bizarre mix of platforming, shooter and rhythm game. Challenging, original and really fun.

Oct 14, 2016The campaign might be short, but if you're like me and love challenging games with an innovative twist than Klang becomes a game you must have.

Oct 12, 2016If you’re looking for a game that has a fair bit of replay value, and is flush with quality gameplay and music, then you would be very pleased with what Klang has to offer.
-
Sep 28, 2016Klang’s take on rhythm platformers is indeed a unique one, in both aesthetics and gameplay, and despite some frustrating moments and uneven difficulty holding it back, its variety of levels, attractive look and sound, and easy-to-learn-hard-to-master gameplay can still make for a highly fun experience.
-
Sep 27, 2016Klang is both fun and interesting in its first half hour but from there on out, the game tries to do too much at once, asking the player to cope with incredible amounts of tasks and frustrations at the same time. The game has a unique visual style, some really cool ideas and a swell soundtrack but that's simply not enough to make this a really good experience.
-
Sep 29, 2016Klang’s good ideas are upstaged by their own poor execution. Neither the rhythm or the platforming are good enough to stand on their own, with the sum of their parts still failing to add up to a complete experience. I wanted to like Klang, but this hybrid is less of a chimera and more of an abomination. At least the music was good.

Oct 12, 2016A bit like biting into a chocolate cake, to find out that it is not cake at all. A very hard piece at that.
