I'm rating this game a 10 for what it was in its time, not what it would be now, as few people would be able to deal with the dated graphics and having to guess at how to phrase exactly what you're supposed to say to complete your quests (though you weren't officially given quests - you just fumbled your way through and figured it out). This was the first RPG series I ever played, and I played it when I was 12 or 13 (yes, I'm old. LOL!), and I played up to King's Quest 4 (after that it just got silly), but this game is the foundation on which many of our modern-day RPGs founded themselves. If you're not bothered by the graphics or lack of combat - and if you're into straight-RPG/puzzle games that are truly vintage, I highly recommend this game. Though it lacks the complexity of games today, it will always be one of my favourites in terms of story and what it did for the gaming/RPG industry. I played the original 4 of this series that were released in the 80s (I believe). If you're into vintage games, you will love this series.… Expand
