    This game was great when it came out! Bad ass attitude, and a dank, hostile themed world to explore. Bash a few hobos, find a few bucks then buy some weapons from the pawn shop. After that move up to the streethoods and gangs :) Underrated and not very well known, this game gave me many enjoyable game hours. 8/10.

    Единственный раз, когда выскажу мнение на русском. Потому что эту игру сделали великолепным (по крайней мере, в России) криворучки из "Фаргуса", и за их потрясающий дубляж, поставлю этой игре 10/10.

    A great community exists at www.kingpin.info , check it out. Lots of custom maps, active servers, single-player missions, etc. All the good stuff.

    this pc game had no clues where to go what to do what not to do . played it and after a week threw it in the garbage .the graphics were low, polishing of the characters was missing.moreover it did not had any tutorial that is why i had to figure out the controls and the game play in the first mission it self almost dyeing a dozen of time.one should not go for this first person shooting.

    Je ne sais pas si le jeu a connu des voix françaises, vu que j’ai trouvé une version entièrement    Kingpine, t’as une tête de pine, Kingpine, t’es le roi de la pine, Kingpine, ta mère suce des pines ! Kingpine… t’es vraiment qu’un gros bâtard de sale jeu de merde et puis c’est tout… Et ta demeure, putain de demeuré, c’est la poubelle d’où t’aurais dû jamais sortir, tête de noeud !

    Je ne sais pas si le jeu a connu des voix françaises, vu que j’ai trouvé une version entièrement anglaise dans un vieux cash merde. Mais en bon état et à un euro, on ne fait pas le difficile même si c’était il y a longtemps. Et puis quoi, c’est sacrément collector un jeu PC en format physique, entièrement matérialisé ! encore que… ici le manuel -et le patch officiel !- sont sur le cd puisqu’il s’agit de la collection ‘sold out’ du temps où Virgin éditait des… jeux vidéo ! c’est dingue ça.

    J’y avais un peu joué à l’époque et déjà, je m’étais dit que ça sentait le jeu de merde… nonobstant bien sûr l’étonnante qualité graphique (pour l’époque) même s’il fallait une grosse config pour espérer faire tourner ce merdier à 60 im/s. En tout cas, ça tourne sur ma babasse sur XP, ce qui n’est déjà pas si mal en soi, car on sait que les jeux en OpenGL sont parfois capricieux. Les tronches des persos se ‘gondolent’ toujours aussi bizarrement, néanmoins…

    Mais on ne se gondole pas de rire pour autant, même au énième degré malgré tous les gros mots de ces gros tarés et de ces gangs de fils de mamans de leur race qui te tombent dessus à bras raccourci. Car après s’être fait à moitié tabassé, on se relève dans une ruelle et on ne sait pas où aller ou quoi foutre… la moitié du quartier veut te buter la gueule, pas de fric, pas de soin, pas de fric pour en acheter, personne à dépouiller, aucun flingue à ramasser, aucun indice… à part qu’on ferait mieux de quitter le coin… sans déconner !

    En gros, mon gros, dans Kingpin, c’est va te faire ramoner et vidanger la tuyauterie, cours je sais pas où comme un putain de gros con parce que sinon, tu te fais buter ta sale race : ils ont des flingues et toi, t’as… une espèce de matraque. Oui, forcément, ça soûle rapidement… d’autant qu’on n’a pas que ça à foutre, quand même, sans déconner, que de palier à l’incompétence totale d’une pauvre bande de trouducs qui ont démoulé un étron de jeu rigoureusement injouable ! alors, va chier Kingpine, et va sucer des pines en enfer !    … Expand

    Oh boy, I wanted to love this game so much back in the day and today with some nostalgy too :/
    But it's actually true what another person already wrote before me: "this pc game had no clues where to go what to do what not to do"; this is the best way to put it! A newb player has no clue what to do with it, NPC-s feel like hardly dying bulletsponges even on the lightes difficulty (novice)    Oh boy, I wanted to love this game so much back in the day and today with some nostalgy too :/

A newb player has no clue what to do with it, NPC-s feel like hardly dying bulletsponges even on the lightes difficulty (novice) out of five!!! I'm not new to games, nor FPS in particular, but this game's gameplay is just awful! The idea itself would've been nice though, it's got that late 90's gangsta feeling, but it's literally unplayable, not even with today's standards, even for back then I would've thrown this game out, just like the commenter before me...    … Expand

    Very good, dark, brutal and innovative in its time in several respects, the second part could have been created without any problem but in today's idiotic times of political correctness I doubt it.

    The game is a good representation of the late 90s FPS games. While the profanity is a bit overused, the overall story is average for the late 90s. The graphics are good enough, you get lost sometimes but nothing too bad compared to some other games of the same time. The gunplay is this game's Achilles heel. The enemies are bullet sponges and the bullets go pretty much everywhere. The gameThe game is a good representation of the late 90s FPS games.
