    Superb atmospheric strategy game. It feels a little bit like the old settler titels without the clunkiness and economic cycles. I can recommend this game to everyone who first of all likes pixel art and strategy games that leave enough room to explore and learn by trying. This game is for people who love to gradually overcome unexpected challenges and a simple, yet satisfying gameplay.

    Utterly simple in the best possible way. With a simple mechanic of dropping coins and purchasing upgrades, the game is surprisingly dense. Extremely fun premise to play with friends and try to figure optimal spending patterns as the general direction of the game is not well spelled out (in a good way).

    This game is ridiculously bad at telling you what is going on and the unbelievable amount of trial and error did cost me 5 game hours for sure. It was very easy to get soft locked several times without knowing why. After beating the campaign once I wanted to give the apparently free DLC "Shogun" a try -- only to find out it is the very same game with a different skin.

    There certainly are elements of the game that I enjoyed, the strategy involved, the soundscape, the pixel graphics. I like the scarce crosssave option to play it (and buy it once more) on the switch, although the achievements did not carry over, neither did my playtime of about 20, 25h.

    If it's your first Kingdom game, I can see this being rated a lot higher than what I've rated. Having played the previous franchise, it brings barely nothing new or fun to the game. It's just the same game with of QOL that makes the game a lot less random/ managing with co-op.

    Very immersive game.Beautiful graphics, especially the sky, and you never know what weather will be tomorrow.It was fun to figure out strategy mechanics because its completely new. It's a bit addictive.

    Great concept, funny gameplay, and always creates the ambition to seek forward.
    Not much to say, try it yourself.
    A must play.

    This game is very good when you are stressed and also very good when you have free time, I really recommend this game

    Beautiful pixel art. Infectious, atmospheric soundtrack. Two-player co-op both online and locally, on split-screen. However if you need a strategy game to be first and foremost a good strategy game, you should look elsewhere. [02/2019, p.38]

    Kingdom Two Crowns is a little jewel. A pleasure in terms of exploration, survival and management that can be fully played in cooperation. The game has a splendid artistic direction and an extraordinary sound atmosphere. Almost dreamlike. Too bad the game looks more like a New Lands DLC than a real new episode.
