May 9, 2014Kentucky Route Zero manages to cover fascinating new ground with each act, and I can’t wait to see where it goes from here. More importantly, I can’t wait to see all the strange sights along the way.

Aug 6, 2016Personalities are becoming brighter and more vivid. I no longer felt like I was making my best guess as to what a character would say, but rather making important choices for what they should say. The player's role as a director starts to feel solidified and important.

Jun 9, 2014Kentucky Route Zero’s excellent third act is no less weird than its predecessors, but hints at something unexpected: a coherent narrative.

May 15, 2014An absolute piece of after hours magic, not really a video game by any stretch. Just a bit of magic you've pulled in from the abyss and dressed up in interactive trappings before placing it on Steam. The set pieces are magnificent and so is that haunting, elegiac "Too Late To Love You Now" song. It's not about a particular meaning but about an experience.

May 13, 2014This third episode of Kentucky Route Zero has its ups and downs, but the adventure continues and it is still a fantastic trip.
-
May 8, 2014Act three is maybe less “spectacular” in terms of visual direction than the previous two, but it's another incredibly well written game, full of crazy ideas and fresh situations. It's also a very particular game, fully based on interactive narration. But by now you should know if you like it.
-
May 7, 2014Kentucky Route Zero is not, in any sense, a typical adventure game. It's an incredible one.
