Jan 25, 2024How does a bunch of angry-cultured swin…I mean individuals respond to a colorful roster of unbelievably cute, pixelated creatures? Well exactly that is an experiment codenamed Karmazoo, conducted by the developer Pastagames. Their newest game is not only adorable, artsy, and full of fun 2D platforming, but also offers a unique twist for the online cooperation gaming space. This hilarious adventure will offer huge amounts of fun to any online or offline enthusiasts, however, in the end, this concept is totally at its players base’s mercy!

Dec 19, 2023There is a real sense of togetherness when playing KarmaZoo. Players help each other out, using their skills (both natural gaming skills and that of their chosen character) to work their way through the puzzles provided by the levels. And it is this co-operative nature that allows KarmaZoo to be an entertaining title, whether you’re one of the more experienced players or those who have just started playing. And with the reasonably short levels, it means that players can jump in and out whenever they have a spare 15-20 minutes. But with all the different characters to collect, the fun co-operative nature of the game and the cute visuals, players will no doubt be coming back for more.

Dec 4, 2023I don’t want to come off as overwhelmingly or unnecessarily negative about KarmaZoo. At its core, this is a weird game trying a weird new idea in a way that I can respect. The problem is just that I think most of its swings don’t actually work, and the net result is more mildly frustrating than innovative. It keeps unfolding new ideas, but each new idea strikes me as kind of mid-tier. It grows in depth, but none of those new depths ultimately work for me. I think that if you have a dedicated group to play the game with, you might get a fair bit more out of it. If you don’t have that, though? You can probably keep this one locked in its cage.
