1939's greediness is second to none. As a card game that has a pitifully small player base, Kards' pricing is ridiculously high. Maybe the only more expensive CCG alive is Komoney's Yugioh DL. And it does not even have rarity protection - you would get cards from packs that will be given to you through experience rewards anyway, you would get cards from packs that will be given to you in1939's greediness is second to none. This is totally absurd.

Considering that the artwork and music of this game are basically free to grab, 1939's game designers are pathetically incapable. The core mechanic is basically plagiarized from Hearthstone and yet the balance of the game is still a joke. Not sure where all the card pack money goes to but clearly not into this game.

Kards is a CCG set in WW2. The atmosphere and card detail is very good. However, the game is plagued by constant power creep and pay-to-win mechanics.

You will have to shell out hundreds to compete in the top tiers of this game, as some cards are flat out better than others --- and very rare. Do you have hundreds to shell out for rare and extremely powerful cards? A platinum

Do you have hundreds to shell out for rare and extremely powerful cards? A platinum credit line? Do you understand how to google the best decks in a CCG? Congratulations, you have what it takes to become one of the best KARDS players in the world!

You only get 1 gold every 3 wins -- and it you need 30 gold to get 1 special+ card, meaning you have to win 90 games just to get 1 chance at 1 good card.

And make sure to keep buying cards -- as each new expansion brings cards more powerful than those before it! You'll be on a credit card carousel!

The game has so much potential if only they'd stop being so very greedy.

Total piece of crap, developers are mediocre, support people are a-holes, basically copying and pasting Hearthstone and this game is still trash, unbelievable.

Game itself is **** for a lot of reasons

    - Nations has no balance. there are couple of combinations with 99% win ratio on 4-5 turn - Pure dev team with really bad coding (this **** comes from EXAMPLE OF CARD game in unreal engine). they add some images about ww2 and some "new" mechanics which is totally broken due bad randomization. if u have about 10 orders in ur deck its almost 100%

    - if u play more than 2-3 hours a day after short a while u will loose any game cuz of RANDOMIZATION of starting cards. My record is 15 in a row
    - Matchmaking is not working properly.
    - Strongly pay 2 win strategy
    - huge amount of fake reviews of players with less than 2 hours on steam

doesn't worth to play but there is no alternative on cards game for now

Everyone wants to repeat Hearthstone’s success, but most new CCGs stick to fantasy setting, and the rest go for sci-fi. For people who can’t stomach either (or just prefer something more grounded in reality), KARDS will be a real treat. [Issue#245, p.62]

KARDS is a great entry into the digital card game space that does just enough to make it worth trying for everyone, rather than just WWII buffs. While it doesn't revolutionize the genre, KARDS never really stumbles much either, and the amount of polish for a game that's only one base set and an expansion into its life cycle is remarkable. There's a lot of promise in KARDS that suggests it could get even better, too, so if it begins to feel a bit more daring in how it designs its card abilities, there's every chance this is the foundation of a real game-changer in the future.

If you like tactical card battles and are not opposed to the WWII setting, Kards delivers plentiful.
