Pick it up if you crave space combat in any and every form, or just love to meet and greet other online denizens, but be prepared for a slower paced physics focused flight and combat model that won't cater to the new and unfamiliar alike.
-
It successfully incorporates the trading elements of "Elite" and "Privateer," the combat elements of "Freespace" and "Wing Commander," a lighter version of "Independence War"'s realistic physics, and all the level-gaining and experience bonuses that make online role-playing games so addictive.
-
Ship movements are heavily physics-based, which can make even simple movements near space stations or other ships problematic for anyone unused to this sort of gameplay. Docking is especially nightmarish for new players.
