Sep 23, 2022Jack Move is almost a curiosity. A JPRG that is barely reaching the 8-hour mark, but at the same time it’s built exactly for that short length. A pocket sized JRPG then for the fans of the genre which may want a short break from the 20, 30, 80 hours epic journeys.

Sep 21, 2022Once again, I am not a fan of J-RPGs personally. However, I didn’t hate my time with Jack Move at all. I would credit this feeling mostly to the art and music. They were certainly excellent. The gameplay while staying true to the J-RPG roots, offers a bit of its own variety. I’m glad it’s a short game because if it were longer, it might’ve overstayed its welcome. I’d suggest Jack Move to anyone wanting to give a short to J-RPGs, since it could be too easy of a game for a fan of the genre.

Sep 20, 2022Jack Move’s ten-hour campaign is sure to please many fans of cyberpunk RPGs. Its short adventure is not only a journey into a futuristic world but also a tribute to games and inventions of past decades. Jack Move is recommendable for those who want a short turn-based game and don’t mind a story full of commonplace twists.

Sep 8, 2022If you're looking for a small Final Fantasy VII-style fix that will whisk you back to 1997 again before Crisis Core - Final Fantasy VII - Reunion comes out later this year, Jack Move should slot into your gaming library very nicely indeed.
