    all they had to do was make a Verdun but in the mountains of Italy.
    same system, same level up and same gameplay.
    instead we had a very bulky and slow gun play (i'm supposed to be a soldier), leveling up system that takes too long, weapon variety for classes is low (assault class has no pistol or grenade at lvl 1?!) a lot of bugs and cheaters. what was wrong with defend and attack? why add    all they had to do was make a Verdun but in the mountains of Italy.

    It is a disgrace how M2H and Blackmill Games disrespected Slovenians by completely ignoring us and our history of being constantly attacked, killed, genocided and tried to be deleted from history by every neighbouring nation, especially also Italy. One does not simply rename all geography Slovene names into Italian names because it seams more convenient for marketing! This just shows howIt is a disgrace how M2H and Blackmill Games disrespected Slovenians by completely ignoring us and our history of being constantly attacked, killed, genocided and tried to be deleted from history by every neighbouring nation, especially also Italy. One does not simply rename all geography Slovene names into Italian names because it seams more convenient for marketing! This just shows how stupidly ignorant and disrespectful the people at M2H and Blackmill Games are. Would you also go and rename all French geographic names into German in a WWII game like France doesn't even exist? Your people actually visited these places in Slovenia and still act like we don't exist?! Wow! What is this, did Italy bribe you to promote their fascist tendencies or are you just happy to support one sided genocidal versions of history?… Expand

    Petty complaints aside, Isonzo is a rather well-rounded experience. If you can gather a little team, and form a squad, then that’s the way to go here. You’re in for a treat. If you’re playing alone, it’ll be tough, but you’ll still have a good time. Immerse yourself in history, imagine the actual people who went through the grueling trials of combat, and the experience will be more meaningful. Whether it’s the vibrant landscapes or swelling soundtrack, Isonzo has a little bit for everyone. It can comfortably take its place as a real contender in the historical FPS genre.

    Isonzo may find itself somewhat hampered by its many technical shortcomings and modest amount of in-game content, such as the limited size of its current map pool, but with a bit of post-launch patching, and a commitment to continued content updates, Isonzo’s greatest days may hopefully lay ahead.
