Oct 20, 2022an interesting game with a not bad setting. technically, the game still needs to be worked on. I expect a continuation, since the finale is not finished

Nov 5, 2021Iron Harvest is an average RTS game with some original ideas but unfortunately, it suffers from glitches, clunky gameplay, and annoying cutscenes.

Sep 20, 2021Such an interesting theme, beautiful art and graphics, yet dialog is written in such a dull and tedious manner that it's annoying to listen to. Where the plot is central to the game, when it's so badly executed I don't see much worth to this game.

Jul 11, 2021For a game that is free on xbox gamepass its ok, lets give it 6/10 for tryin. would not buy it thooo

Jun 27, 2021There's no need to call this game an RTS. It's technically real-time but the way it plays reminds me far more of a CRPG than a modern RTS. Similar to Myth II in terms of some mechanics, that's meant as both a great compliment and a definite criticism (that game is 20+ years old afterall)
Hit-or-miss voice acting, poor AI and clunky gameplay keep a good game from being more than decent. -
Jun 20, 2021Just finished Iron Harvest! Definitely a throw back to the original RTS of the world. Put in a original alternative reality shortly after World War 1. A great modernization of the genre!

May 29, 2021Feminist propaganda, it is now every game. I can't play a single game without feministic remarks. This **** is so annoying! There is a reason why gamers hate feminists... Don't put this **** into games, no one wants to play and see it every game and nothing else... Stop ruining games, games are for entertainment not for pushing political agenda...

May 1, 2021Maybe not the best in its genre, but still solid RTS in intriguing entourage. Worth trying, at least campaigns.

Jan 23, 2021Old school RTS. Similar to Company of Heroes with maybe a hint of Dawn of War. Genuinely feels like Relic made the game. I'm having a great time playing it -- better than I thought!

Jan 11, 2021Game is awesome. Devs delivered exactly what was promised. Contact with playerbase is exemplary. Game is in constant development. It is musthave for the World of 1920 fans.
Maps, unit design and voice acting is marvelous. I am in love with this game, so my short review may not be objective. ;-) -

Jan 8, 2021Wonderful. It is a slow paced real time strategy in which the chose of the units and positioning matters above anything else.

Jan 8, 2021I really enjoy the lore, the animation, and the factions. Developer is responsive to feedback and seems to be constantly improving the game. Outside of multiplayer, this game desperately needs an AI overhaul (as of writing this, you can beat the hardest difficult AI enemy with ease) to really grab my attention.

Jan 8, 2021Rating the game on its own, not on CoH 2. It does a great job of being a fun RTS with great story. It is fairly casual in multiplayer making it a great game for someone looking to get into RTS. Additionally Kingart has been doing a great job fixing bugs and listening to the community.

Apr 1, 2021Iron Harvest is a typical KING Art production, intriguing and appealing at first, but having spent some time with it, you notice the shoddy workmanship and a heap of technical problems.
-
CD-ActionNov 16, 2020It’s a solid, very pretty and well-balanced RTS in the vein of Company of Heroes and Dawn of War II. Its most important quality though is that it managed to retain the atmosphere and allure of the unique dieselpunk 1920+ universe it’s set in. [11/2020, p.74]
-
Game World Navigator MagazineOct 21, 2020As promising as Iron Harvest’s setting is, the story just can’t keep up, while gameplay is a straight copy/paste from Company of Heroes 2. [Issue#248, p.50]
