If the RTS is dead, then Iron Harvest is some pretty slick necromancy. A classic-style single-player campaign with a strong story complements the absolute satisfaction of big, stompy mechs. [Single Player Score = 80]
  2. Iron Harvest is a throwback to one of the last golden ages of the genre, often feeling as old fashioned and crusty as that association entails, but frequently reminding us of the essential appeal of extremely large robots chilling out in timelines where they shouldn’t be.

And wait for a big sale, right now it's prices like an AAA title - which it clearly isn't. Frame rate is underwhelming on my rig - with 5 units on screen it feels like Total War with hundreds. The quality of Polish voice over is amateurish. And I hate the fact I have to finish the campaign with one faction to play with another, terrible, terrible design choice. Full Review »

50$ for a EA game thats not going to be finished for least 2 months just to get the advertised features done. I rated a 3, for 1/3 game. Cause nothing is ever 10 thats just silly

As a Kickstarter baker and early alpha/beta tester, I cannot recommend this game to anyone at its current status. The graphic and art designAs a Kickstarter baker and early alpha/beta tester, I cannot recommend this game to anyone at its current status. The graphic and art design of the game is great but beside campaign, the game lacks of descent strategies and system. Similar/identical infantry units for each faction, lacking unit/weapon upgrades, lack of base building elements(only 2 base structures, same on every faction as well), claims to be a slow pace RTS but its not, etc.

More importantly, the dev “full” released the game with many key features missing/not implemented in the game yet. There are no new maps since the beta, no rank play or ladder, no coop campaign/missions, no AI improvements, no steam achievements and so on.

This is extremely disappointing. Despite many players provide their suggestions and warnings to the dev before the full release, the dev barely changes or improves any aspects of the game. If the dev wants to keep improving or fixing the game overtime, they should brand the game as an early access title instead of publishing an unfinished game.

As a baker, I’m really disappointed and would not recommend this game for now to anyone who is interested.
