It’s sublime when a plan comes together, but squirming out of a nasty mess takes a higher degree of patience and pressurized innovation.

Slick, addictive, yet oddly unfulfilling, Invisible, Inc. is great for dipping into, as long as you aren't expecting deep gameplay or substantial narrative rewards.

Like Klei Entertainment's other games, it's aesthetically crisp and ninja-smooth, but the game all but vanishes from one's mind even while playing it.

Luckily, the gameplay sings, making for a game that's not as powerful as it could be, but undeniably accessible.

Klei Entertainment has once again proven themselves to be at the forefront of creating endless replay value, all while wrecking backlogs near and far.

Despite its shortcomings, Invisible, Inc. offers a nerve-wracking campaign in which decisions and consequences truly matter.

Invisible Inc. is a game with a lot of hidden depth that is waiting to be explored and exploited; and while the story is severely lacking it’s still worth the $20 to checkout and run through a few times.

One of the pleasant side effects of Invisibile, Inc.’s speed and pressure is that it’s easy to predict how long a campaign will take, how long a mission will take, and that you’ll get rewarded even if you fail. This means that, despite the pressure and difficulty, Invisible, Inc. is a surprisingly relaxing game. In the imagination, it’s big. In actuality, it’s small—now that’s a trick.

The game itself feels well designed and programmed. Everything runs smooth. Sound is great too. You have a lot of tactical decisions to make. One of the best tactical games I played in a while. In a mission the play-style can be compared with XCOM (but ouside of missions it has no base-building or reaseach), Outside of a mission it feels more like FTL, you can select between different next missions and you can upgrade your agents with items or skills. Most fun I have had for quite some time.
Invisible Inc is a turn based stealthroguelike. Not really sure why people are comparing it to X-Com though. The main game type is just 72 hours. You choose from different missions and agents in order to gear yourself up for the final mission, not too dissimilar from some other roguelikes.
The stealth in this game is awesome fun and I never would have imagined that a turn based game would have such awesome stealth. The game frequently makes my heart race. Depending on which agents you use and which implants weapons and upgrades you get you will want to handle different situations differently which means there is a lot of replayability.
Customisable difficulty and game modes also really add to the replay value. There are 3 base difficulties and two extra game modes and a super ruthless difficulty (expert+). Endless for people who don't like things ending and time attack to really put the pressure on by timing your turns. Perhaps the best aspect of this though is the fact you can tweak your difficulty with a myriad of different options.
When I play this game I feel like I have literally nothing to complain about. Its just pure heart attack inducing roguelike fun. Buy it and lead a team of Ninja today !

The instant death mechanic and the fact that guards never just reset to default patterns after detecting you gives the stealth proper meaning. Literally the only downside to this game is the length. 72 hours gives you approx 9 missions based on my own experience, which feels a tad short. Since this game throws itself into the roguelike mix, i would have hoped for a longer experience. This didn't need the length of X-Com or Sword of the Stars: The Pit, but i wish it could have followed on with the ending twist. Luckily it appears to have good replayability.

Also a surprisingly good lunchtime game. Individual mission play length runs about 5-15 minutes based on difficulty rating.
