Apr 15, 2024A clever yet frustratingly muddled follow-up to Monster Train.

Apr 12, 2024Aside from the repetitive enemies and locations, I enjoyed my time with Inkbound. It’s a different breed of rogue game, one that not only allows for layers upon layers of strategy with how players can approach each battle but the inclusion of 4 player co-cp makes for even greater strategizing with friends. With a whimsical graphical style and a great soundtrack to match, Inkbound can for sure be a fun game, if you are alright with fighting the same types of enemies again and again.

May 19, 2023Inkbound has a ton of potential as an early access game with a solid gameplay loop and beautiful animation. It will need a strong player base if the online focus is going to pay off, but what I have seen makes me really excited for players to see the wonderful world Shiny Shoe has created. [Early Access Review]

May 18, 2023Inkbound fuses unique concepts together to create a good story and a better video game, a must-play for those looking for a new adventure. [Early Access Score = 80]

May 19, 2023In the end, though, the truest measure of roguelikes is whether they instill that “one more run” feeling, and Inkbound has that in spades. If the game’s early access is its prologue, I’m ready to read chapter one.
