The game is ported quite well from console to PC. You get all the DLC extras that PS3 and Xbox360 customers would need to pay easily twice as much to obtain singularly, and all in one bundle. The core game is the same as original injustice, except that it looks much slicker on PC if you have the GPU to boot at least. If you do have problems with the game slowing down, just turn shadows off, it helps FPS so much more than you'd expect. Expand

Music and sound acting? Another strong aspect of this game. The cast has Troy Baker, which is the harbinger of exceptional work. Soundtrack job is done by Dean Grinsfelder, known for his achievements on some other Marvel cartoons; like X-Men, Hulk, and some good documentary stuff. Nice melodies and bashing effects to our ears. 9/10.

The visual art and the quality of graphics are just awesome. There's no FIGHTNING game looks better than this title at the market right now. So, 9/10 again.

The roster for playable characters are below my expectations honestly. Ed Boons states that, this is because of the effort for creating balanced chars with logical attributes that fits to their comic book nature. I can understand that. Your favorite DC Comics heroes are still there; Sups, Bats, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Joker, General Zod, Solomon Grundy and vice versa. 8/10 anyway.

Last, but not least, the multiplayer gameplay is above the standarts of Mortal Kombat 9, the previous title of Netherrealms. There are games out there, with better lag management than Injustice, but this game is at zenit in its category of fightning games. And the guys at Warner Bros are constantly watching the forums on Steam and their official board, taking the feedback from players at a serious level, and releasing patches nearly every week, to get the online action at the best level possible. The biggest visible problem was the empty rooms of lobbies, which was because of regional lock. Now they fixed it with the latest patch. This of effort of theirs, and the current status of the multiplayer deserves a 7,5/10.

As my last appeal, Injustice is the best fightning game on PC, and one of the best of its genre including all platforms like XBOX, PS. It's in the same league with Street Fighter 4, Tekken 6; trust me.

My final score in this critic for IGAUUE is 8.7/10. But I'm giving it a 10 here, to make sure that it gets closer to the point it deserves.

It's very user-friendly, has up-to-date graphics, easy to pick up and play, cool characters and animations as well as a great deal of single player content. The story mode is particularly commendable; lasting around 4 hours with seamlessly integrated battles and cutscenes. The story itself isn't very good and it's confusing at times, but for a fighting game it's not bad at all. It gives you chance to try out some of the characters, but the downside is you have to keep looking at the moves list, which isn't ideal. You end up just pressing buttons with no real satisfaction, and the AI is forgiving in the story so fights don't feel as epic as they should. There are also some arcade-mode style battles along with hundreds of missions to clear with certain criteria. Unfortunately, there are no character-specific trials to teach you killer combos, but the practice mode makes up for it and is an excellent training tool. The best thing about Injustice from a single player point of view is indeed the STAR Labs, which include a variety of mini-games and fights with different characters requiring you to do a variety of tasks rather than simply beating up the other character. It's amazing just how far this variety goes, and the gameplay achieved is seldom repetitive due to the unparalleled creativity. It makes one rethink what a fighting game CAN BE. What sets Injustice apart from other fighting games is of course the aesthetics. The interactive environments as well as the nice graphics coupled with hard-hitting brawler mechanics. It's definitely a treat to play when you find a character that's right for you and discover their potential combos. The game is so intuitive its tutorial is only around 10 minutes, and you can work out the rest for yourself by experimenting. The inclusion of a detailed move list, which also contains all the relevant frame data and descriptions of each move is something that hardcore players will definitely appreciate. I would describe the gameplay as a combination of Dead or Alive and Street Fighter. You have a lot of juggling and button combos which require you to press buttons quickly rather than timing everything perfectly, as well as the 2-in-1 stages, but since it still plays like a 2D fighter, it retains some element of zoning, jumping, projectiles etc. The result is fantastic; it enables greater variety in playstyles and characters but also feels natural. The best way to describe Injustice's appeal is that unlike many other fighting games, it manages to make every single button press feel meaningful and satisfying. The battle just flows as if it was a movie, and you feel like a god when playing it yet from a technical point of view it doesn't require much knowledge or amazing dexterity, timing and practice. This is something the genre as a whole has a problem in trying to get across to newcomers. If someone asked me "what is a fighting game? Which one should I play as my first one?" I wouldn't hesitate to call out Injustice Gods Among Us. A truly complete package. The only problem is online, which has some good ideas such as online training, and great presentation for lobbies and matchmaking, but nobody plays it and there are some connection issues at times. The stages are iconic, interactive, and destructible, which is cool too.
The Story is short, but good (loved the parallel universes thing). Gameplay-wise the game is not too intuitive, but after a few matches you will start to get the hang of it and it’s spectacular and fun to play (some special moves are really awesome and go well with each hero or villain).
Besides story and versus modes, there are other modes and challenges to pick from and lots of extra stuff to unlock.
The music and sound are epic and so are the voices and characterization (loved the Joker).
In summary, this is a great game that is worth your money and if you like fighting games and Mortal Kombat, you shouldn't pass on this one.

I couldn't get it at the time because I did not have Xbox Live. However, when I found out that this edition of the game was coming out on the PC with all of the DLC, I knew that I just had to get it sometime. Eventually, the Warner Bros. sale happened on Steam, and a few days ago I bought the game. So, is this edition the definitive edition of the fighting game I loved on the 360? Or is this game a block of Kryptonite? Let's find out. The gameplay of this game is about the same as any other fighting game. You choose your character, then your opponent, then a stage, and then duke it out with your opponent. However, there are several things added to this game that differentiate it from other fighters. For one, the characters in this game are all famous DC Comics characters such as Superman and Batman. This is really good, as it allows fans to duke it out with each other as their favorite characters. You can also interact with the environment around you as you fight, allowing you to damage your opponent by using different parts of the stage as weapons, slamming them into an object in the back of the stage, or even knocking them into the background, forcing the stage to switch to another part of itself. Other than these two features however, this fighting game is very much like Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter. There are also several different modes to this game. There is a battle mode, which allows you to take your characters into several arcade fighting game style battles, single fight, which is just a mode that allows you to play single fights as as your favorite characters, and a training mode, which allows you to hone your skills in a mode where you cannot die. There is also a mode called S.T.A.R. Labs, which allows you to take on specific challenges with all of the characters in the game. There is also a story mode, which I will get to later. Of course, because this is a fighting game, there is definitely online play. This game supports multiplayer, and has several more modes in it. Multiplayer works great, however, I did notice some lag in this game, which I was not too happy about. Another problem with the gameplay could be that the special moves are a little complicated. They aren't as complicated as they were in Mortal Kombat 9, however, this might still turn off some casual gamers. Still though, I have found that it is very hard not to have fun with this game. Also, this game comes with all of the DLC characters and costumes, which only make this version of the game better. Despite certain issues with lag, and difficult to execute moves, this game's gameplay is insanely fun. As for the graphics, they're every bit as good as the gameplay. This game has very beautiful graphics that use the Unreal Engine to the fullest. The environments and characters are both rich with detail, as well as pretty to look at. However, while the graphics look excellent for an Unreal Engine game, there are still a few textures that I believe don't look good enough. They do still look good, don't get me wrong. However, some textures don't look quite detailed enough, and I have seen a few Unreal Engine games that came out before this one that still look better *cough* Mass Effect Trilogy *cough*. That's not to say they are bad however. The graphics of this game are great, despite a few missteps. As for this game's story, I have to say that it is one of the best stories I have ever heard in a fighting game, if not the best. It starts with the Joker blowing up Superman's home city of Metropolis, which makes Superman angry enough to kill the Joker, stop being a hero, and become the Earth's evil dictator, and Batman is the only hero left that still opposes him. I won't spoil the rest of the story for you, but let's just say that the story is very well written and acted. It also really pays off in the end. The story of this game is fantastic, but could still be told better. Overall, if you are a DC comics fan, or even a fighting game fan, there is no reason not to have this game. If you were turned off by the high difficulty of Mortal Kombat 9, then you might want to try Injustice, as it is a lot easier, and appeals more to casual fighting game fans, despite having some difficult moves.

Most fighting games I play just aren't that interesting to me, and that's mostly due to the fact that memorizing button combinations, and taking the time to find a player that I like isn't a journey that I'm willing to take, majority of the time. And it's that reason, and that reason alone why only a few fighting games such as 'Smash Bros, Power Stone' and few others really stand out to me as being highly memorable.

But with 'Gods Among Us', I found myself landing combination after combination early on, almost as if the control scheme was tailored for button mashers, and unskilled fighters to catch on quickly, and it kept me interested and playing long enough to actually get halfway decent at the game. Now maybe all of that is just some stuff that I made up in my brain, or maybe it's not, but 'Injustice' is one of the few fighting games I have actually enjoyed in recent years.

Another aspect of this game that I enjoyed way more than I thought I would, was the story. Most new age fighting games create some strangely flowing plot that barely makes sense to explain all of the fighting, and this game is no different, but it worked nonetheless. There's just something about an evil 'Superman' that really gets my blood boiling. If you're like me, and have a difficulty getting into most fighting games, but would like to, consider picking this one up.

Four hours of story mode, just enough to avoid repetitiveness and fatigue in this kind of games.
Besides being well written and very interesting.

*GAMEPLAY*: A good combat system, but sometimes it is not as precise as one might expect.
In addition, the difficulty is poorly balanced: without modifying the difficulty between fights, some of them can be beaten by a baby and others are impossible by even Bruce Lee.

*GRAPHICS*: Artistically good, but it was time to renew the graphic aspect for the next videogame of the studio (MKX).

*SOUND*: Remarkable, the soundtrack passes without glory, but the sound effects and dubbing are perfect.

*INNOVATION*: Injustice brings back the little used DC characters since PS3/360 generation, bringing a very remarkable 2D combat game.

Story is good even if the plot becomes boring and predictable over time and that it indecently justifies the fact that two identical characters fight against each others (thanks 'Super Smash Bros. Visually the game is cool without being amazing considering the poor quality of the PC portage (thanks Warner Bros for this mess). I found colours particularly ugly. Characters designs are top notch whatsoever. Skins make them even better.

Original soundtrack is as terrific as the environment (which is partially destroyable). Animations and overall atmosphere are gorgeous. The fight mode in itself is cool. We can clearly feel that Mortal Kombat inspiration (thanks Ed Boon for this fun fact). Combos and controls are really hard to master especially if, just like me, you are a sickman trying to play 'Injustice' without controller. Yeah I don't know what made me do such a thing. Anyway characters were almost all well-balanced. Well, that was the case if you didn't count that over-powered Superman.

Multiplayer mode is terrible, players rage-quitting every time, it takes years to find an opponent. Anyway, no one has been playing it in multiplayer mode for five years now. At least the devs thought about adding that 'Lab' mod which allows you to replay levels and to give a try to hardcore challenges.

The worst part about 'Injustice' is that Warner couldn't stop their greed for money from getting over them and thus releasing this hideous and catastrophic app on Android and iOS (watch the 'trailer' above and you will understand what monster I am currently speaking of). I regret playing this Android game so hard.

Нелепая графика, анимация лиц, ударов, перемещения. Абсолютно убогий сюжет. Управление сухое, абсолютно не гибкое.

DC fighting game from MK developer = BIG SUCCES :)
Game is great, with mechanics thay keeps you playing day after day. Especially in MP :)
Also story is kinda uniqe :) something different that you can see/read in original comics.

A mecânica, os combos e os especiais são perfeitos, é muito gostosinho de se jogar, sem contar que o enredo é incrível.

I was neither much into gaming nor interested in superheroes before 2015, when I learnt about this game. My cousin was playing the mobile version of this game. It looked so cool I thought this is something I must try. I asked him where is Spider-Man in this. He told me Spider-Man is a Marvel superhero. So I asked him whose superheroes are these then? It looked so cool I thought this is something I must try. I asked him where is Spider-Man in this. He told me Spider-Man is a Marvel superhero. So I asked him whose superheroes are these then? That's how less I knew about superheroes before playing the mobile version of this game. Afterwards I learnt about the PC game and now I have purchased it.
The influence of this game has been so hard on my life, I often used to roam around on my house's terrace wearing my towel like a cape (I was 21 at the time), imagining myself to be Superman (I really wish I could levitate). Before this game I never found Superman very attractive. I always saw him as a champu guy who wears an underwear on pants and has a spit curl. But only after I watched Man of Steel and then played the PC version of this game I realised how cool he is. I can imagine this game must have been a dream come true for any kid who played with the superhero action figures.
The story of this game is very engaging. At first I thought the game is the adaptation of the Injustice comic series, but later I learnt it's the other way round. It's so cool to see that the game has such good graphics, action and storyline that they made this into an entire series and even brought a sequel. I don't want to give any spoilers for the story, so I'd just say that you have to experience it first hand while keeping in mind that the game was made in 2013.
The roster of this game is also huge. There are the fan favourites who have their original costumes and can also be given costumes from some of their most popular media appearance, like Superman has Man of Steel's costume and Batman has Arkham Asylum's costume. Then there are also the unpopular characters whom I got to learn about from this game. Shazam, who hadn't received a movie at the time, was given a big role here. There were also characters like Nightwing, Lobo, Firestorm and even Harley Quinn, about whom I learnt from this game. My personal favourite character in the game is Green Lantern with his Yellow Lantern suit on. He looks so good!
Injustice is the phenomenon which, when compared against Marvel's Avengers, explains why DC completely dominates over Marvel in gaming even though Marvel's Avengers came 7 years after. And I'd prefer it stays that way. I'd any day choose this cool thing over that family park adventure. I really hope they make a third game. It would bring justice to Injustice.

I was totally stunned, the first time playing Injustice: Gods Among Us! It´s more than just a brawler around the DC universe. It reminds me a bit of Mortal Kombat but with a fresh, never seen environment. What a game!

Очень неплохой файтинг сюжет тоже не плох но мне кажется в этой игре слишком много Бэтмена.

Buen juego de lucha y de superhéroes pero con una campaña corta y repetitiva.

Really exciting fighting game that creates a unique DC universe and tells a very unique story. Gameplay is solid, would recommend to casual fighting game fans.

A great DC fighting game, I originally played it on PS4 a long time ago and I didn't have it anymore, so I'd better have it on Steam, it's a Mortal Kombat DC version that doesn't have a lot of violence and blood, I give it the story mode a 9.5/10 only that there are minigames that the truth is more or less I stayed to see and that I have already put an end to the whole game, the online oneA great DC fighting game, I originally played it on PS4 a long time ago and I didn't have it anymore, so I'd better have it on Steam, it's a Mortal Kombat DC version that doesn't have a lot of violence and blood, I give it the story mode a 9.5/10 only that there are minigames that the truth is more or less I stayed to see and that I have already put an end to the whole game, the online one did not help me since there are no players who are playing it, enjoyable and recommended on any console. The interface is wonderful. You have so much information immediately available to you. Google Maps always has a minimap in the lower left corner, which gives you a good overview of the area. Getting information about people gives you a clear, clear window. Hacking offers a menu with easily recognizable icons, so you always know what your button presses will do.

A thoroughly enjoyable fighter that marks out NeverRealm as a brawler developer to watch. [March 2014, p.63]

PC version of Injustice is decent, but visuals and the code responsible for online multiplayer could use some tweaking (lags occur sometimes). [02/2014, p.71]

A brawler that's bursting with content and fan service, but held back by flakey online play.
