This and MK feel very similar, MK fans should love this. I'm not really in to any of that cheesy Hollywood **** so was surprised to enjoy this as much as I did. It's a great modern 2D fighter. Fun to play. I would give it a 7 but I think that is probably my personal taste and so considering a lot of people will love these franchises, it will probably be an 8 to them.

Great game. Although the optimization seems low.

Better game than mortal kombat if you ask me. The multiverse is addictive

Sequel to a great fighting game developed by MK creators.
Story is even better comparing to the first one. Visuals and sound are outstanding - heroes never looks better.

Game was crushing and freezing basically all the time and I couldn't do anything. My last resort was uninstall the game and install it on different drive and to my surprise all bugs was gone. And I'm really glad because it is an amazing game. Graphic is stunning, story is really good, fighting mechanics are very complex and fun to learn and of course roster of characters is quite big. It was joy to play this game and I recommend it to anyone who like DC universe. Difficulty level is very balanced but you can change it whenever you want. But there are some things that I didn't liked - for example the whole loot system... It's really unnecessary and very very grindy. I didn't like the fact that there isn't different skins to choose besides basic ones and the only difference you can make is by opening loot boxes. And I also didn't like the fact that there isn't any feature like "krypt" in MK to collect some sort of artworks. But despite those few things as well as some technical issues the game is absolute amazing. Expand

Injustice 2 took what was enjoyable and well done from the first of the series, and improved upon it. The animations are fantastic, story exceptional, and the banter between the heroes top notch. While the pvp is a key component to this game, I find myself inclined to just play the computer. Maybe it is my older age, but I don't enjoy pvp as much as I did when I was younger. If you enjoy pvp, you will likely enjoy this game even more than I did.

Ever wanted to prove that you can punch bad guys better than Batman? Here is your chance.

The common fighting game is a lot of different things to a lot of different people, and all of these people can have very different opinions about the quality of a specific title. Therefore, an explicit declaration of bias is in order.

When it comes to fighting games, I am a very odd duck indeed: I usually play games for the story, and while my skills are sophisticated enough to reliably reproduce special moves and the simpler combos, I don't go near advanced concepts like zoning, move interruption or even blocking. So what I usually do in these games is: I play the campaign and the story mode for every character, and then I move on.

So how well does Injustice 2 with a fringe of the bell curve customer like me? Exceedingly well, mainly because the main gameplay loop ist so goddamn enjoyable. The fighting against the AI is a great time at the fisticuffs: Speedy bouts that can turn on a dime, fought on highly interactive stages, spiced up with introductions, the occasional barks and super moves that can take up to a minute to watch, in all of which the scenery is chewed with reckless, enchanting abandon. The animations are a delight to behold, the control scheme is tight as a drum, most of the moves are pretty easy to pull of. The roster includes 38(!) characters, and while there are some I just didn't connect with, the overwhelming majority of them are a lot of fun to step into the ring with.

When it comes to the story of the campaign mode, I agree with the majority opinion: This is the best fighting game story so far. That is, admittedly, a low bar to clear and Injustice 2 doesn't clear it by much: Planescape Torment this is not. But it is average-to-good comic book fare, directed with excellence and bombast, and you get to direct the action scenes yourself. That is a very enjoyable way to consume such a plot. One or two simplistic yet charming character arcs are in here, and a few scenes might even provoke a case of deeper thinking.

As for the story modes, the character specific epilogues are just something to show you that you reached the stopping point of a given character. Again, what makes this game fun is the primary gameplay loop.

The production levels are top notch: The voice cast is excellent, not a dud among them, the graphics are stunning, the sound is punchy and orchestral. I didn't like Supergirl's hair much (Nether Realms, listen: Next time, please get the licence for Melissa Benoist's likeness, please please Please!), but that is all the criticism I can level. Seriously.

That's about all I can talk about. Now, Injustice 2 is so much more: There is a loot system, there's guilds, arguably I haven' t even encountered the meat of the game when I completely snubbed the multiple multiplayer modes. But I think that's a praise in itself: When by engaging in less than half of the game I purchased I feel that I got more than my money's worth, can there be a stronger recommendation to buy?

TLDR: If your predilections concerning fighting games match mine, go get Injustice 2. If not, I still suspect you might want this, if you have any interest in fighting games at all.

Though it didn't launch day and date with the console versions, Injustice 2 remains a solid fighting game for PC players. The fighting system is a marked improvement over the original, and the online performance is solid, but the single-player content and loot system are what will keep people playing. There's so much content here that those who aren't interested in playing online will still feel like they got their money's worth. Fighting fans and those who enjoy the DC universe should definitely own this game.

While I could make small critiques on the loading times, that the animation’s a little on the heavy side, or that many of the combo links have a strange stop/start quality to them, it’s just too easy to keep waxing lyrical about how great Injustice 2 is. On nearly every level it shines – the combat’s fast-paced, satisfying to play and looks incredible. There’s tons to do, the roster’s chock-full of fan favorites and niche crowd pleasers alike, and it’s a solid offering for solo players as well as those who are itching to take the game online. From nearly every angle, this one’s a winner.
