Horrible game. Commands doesn't work when you need. No save point available. Each stage you will need to find all guns again. NPCs increase attack combos but Indiana jones still has the same crap. Indiana jones and the Infernal machine was much superior than this horrible game. Sierra knows how to develope good games. Luckly The Coperative INC doesn't exist anymore. They didn't deserve to be realeasing games nowadays. I love Indiana Jones games, and played the Infernal Machine in the year 2000. This Emperor's tomb sucks in a way that I can't even explain. Expand

Though it's no classic tale, Emperor's Tomb has both actioning and adventuring in spades, whisking you off on a gorgeous cross-continental tour of exotic locales. [June 2003, p.68]

Instant deaths, glitchy combat, uninspiring boss encounters and twitchy controls conspire to make this a below-par experience. If it wasn't for the occasional flashes of imagination and the familiarity and richness conveyed through the license then The Emperor's Tomb would be utterly forgettable. [May 2003, p.99]
  3. Despite the occasionally clunky controls, Emperor’s Tomb does impress with its hand-to-hand brawls (Ms. Croft would be lost without HER weapons) and the free-range exploration allowed within each level.
