    Good soundtrack and combat.
    unique storytelling. not very good, but unique is appreciated these days.

    A very solid 2D side scrolling action adventure game that's challenging, fast paced, with great boss battles, and light RPG elements that remind me of devil may cry. Visuals and Artstyle are beautifully done and the soundtrack is really amazing.

    The game, the kind of opposition he is a playmaker. When trying to exclude the possibility that you understand the truth about him. Even at the moment of the game, half of the match saw a sight that surprised narrator says: Oh my god. why i forgot to complete here? And he transfer you to another area.    that's really a wondeful 2D game with nice design...

    Hat auf jeden Fall gute Elemente im Spiel, die Gegner sind Kreativ Gestaltet und ergänzen sich gut im Spiel und die Kämpfe genial gemacht. Jedoch ist die Story des Spiels nicht besonders mitfühlbar und die Musik wiederholt sich. Das Upgrade Menü ist auch eher Mager, aber wer das Genre mag für den ist dieses Spiel gut geeignet.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. A really nice designed action game! Really loved the combat system which has elements of devil may cray and bayonetta. Also lenjoyed the nice graphics. So why a seven? Because this game is way too short. I was able to complete it in less then two hours. Also the story could have been worked out a little bit better. But all the minor negative notes aside you should try it out because its a good game!… Expand

    Favorite Thing: I like the concept of being directed but allowed to go against it. It wasn't fleshed out well though and usually just amounted to very little.
    Least Favorite Thing: I didn't like a whole lot about this game, though I still stuck around to see the extra content/dialog related to achievements. Completion Date:    Five Word Review: Nothing overly positive found here.

    ICEY is a fun, challenging, 2D action game with a "meta" 4th wall-breaking story where you can frustrate the narrator to no end much like in "The Stanley Parable." Story aside (can't really say much without spoilers), the gameplay is very challenging and satisfying. Pulling off combos feels great and you feel like a badass after every fight is won. The combat system has depth, but it's notICEY is a fun, challenging, 2D action game with a "meta" 4th wall-breaking story where you can frustrate the narrator to no end much like in "The Stanley Parable." Story aside (can't really say much without spoilers), the gameplay is very challenging and satisfying. Pulling off combos feels great and you feel like a badass after every fight is won. The combat system has depth, but it's not so complex that you end up forgetting about any mechanics or whatnot. Also the game has a damn good soundtrack which comes free with purchase (as does some additional content via a free DLC called UCEY's awakening). Not to mention, the price is affordable, which is always a plus.… Expand

    I’m pretty fond of ICEY. The combat could (and should) be better but I enjoyed my time with it, and appreciated its willingness to whip out the sort of unexpected, bizarre narrative twists that most games don’t even consider.
